1773 - 1774 H.H. Sultan Muhammad Shams ud-din Iskandar II, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives. b. as Muhammad Manikufa'anu, son of Al-Amir Husain Bodu Dorimena Kilegefa'anu, by his second wife, Amina Manikufa'anu. Seized the throne within a month of the departure of Sultan Ghiya'asuddin for Mecca, 22^nd December 1773. Abdicated in favour of his cousin in May 1774, but continued to wield power. Thereafter-styled as Sultan Muhammed Farina Kilege. He d. at Malé, 31^st March 1779.

1774 - 1779 H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'iz ud-din Iskander ibni al-Marhum Shah Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din [Kalhu Bandarain], Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives. b. before 28^th October 1753, eldest son of H.H. Sultan al-Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun [Dhon Bandarain], Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, by his wife, Amina Bodu Didi, educ. privately. Exiled to Addu Atoll with his two brothers in 1773. Brought back to Mah by his first cousin, who then abdicated in his favour, May 1774. m. (first) at Addu Atoll, 1773, Amina Manikufa'anu (s.p.), daughter of Musa Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Dhonkadheedhaa Manikufa'anu, daughter of Hawa Bi'fa'anu. m. (second) at Malé, 1774, Donbina'age Amina Didi, a grand-daughter of H.H. Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar II ibn Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din, Sultan of the Maldives. He d. at Malé, 13^th September 1779, having had issue:

1) H.H. Princess Kaka'age Kalu Goma Aisha Kaba'a Rani Kilege. b. 1776 (d/o Amina Didi). m. Al-Amir Ibrahim Eduru Rannabanderi Manikufa'anu, previously styled Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu, her father's maternal cousin, from Feevaku. She had issue, two sons and three daughters (the Kaka'age Divehi Ganduvaru family):
- a) Al-Amir Haji 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kaka'age 'Ali Didi]. m. Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Don Didi, younger daughter of Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Husain Didi. He d. 1873, having had issue, three sons and four daughters:
  - i) Al-Amir Muhammad Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kaka'age Muhammad Didi]. Prime Minister. Exiled to Minicoy. m. (first) Veyordoruge Don Didi. m. (second) Veliduge Don Didi. m. (third) Handeygirige Medu Goma.He had issue, one son and three daughters:
    - (1) Kaka'age Muhammad Didi (s/o Veliduge Don Didi).
    - (1) Kaka'age Aisha Didi (d/o Veyordoruge Don Didi).
    - (2) Kaka'age Fatima Didi (d/o Veliduge Don Didi).
    - (3) Kaka'age Kilegefa'anu Goma (d/o Medu Goma).

    - (1) Kaka'age Husain Didi [Divehi Ganduvaru Husain Manikufa'anu]. m. (first) Kaka'age Aisha Didi, daughter of Kaka'age Ismail Dorimena Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Serikkal Don Manika, daughter of Thudathifa'anuge Landran Awgoathi Muhammad Bodu Thakurufa'anu, of Minicoy. m. (second) Oludu Goathi Fatima Manikufa'anu, of Minicoy. He had issue, one son and two daughters:
      - (a) Kaka'age 'Ali Didi (s/o Aisha Didi). m. Princess Zarina, daughter of H.H. Sultan al-Hassan Nur ud-din Iskander II, Sultan of the Maldives, by his third wife, Kudibaige Khadija Didi. He had issue, two daughters:
        
        (i) Kaka'age Amina Didi. b. at Colombo, 24^th February 1962, educ. Hampden House Sch., Bucks. m. at Malé, Majid 'Abdu'l-Wahhab, son of Prince Muhammad 'Abdu'l-Wahhab Manduge Manippulu - see below.
        
        (ii) Kaka'age Aisha Didi. b. at Malé, 30^th May 1965, educ. Hampden House Sch., Bucks. m. Shahid Husain.
      - (a) Kaka'age Tuttu Fatima Didi (d/o Kaka'age Aisha Didi).
      - (b) Oludu Goathi Khadija Manika (d/o Fatima Manikufa'anu).
    - (1) Divehi Ganduvaru Khadija Manika. m. Landran Awgoathi Ibrahim Manikufa'anu, educ. Calcutta. She had issue:
      - (a) Divehi Ganduvar Muhammad Didi.
      - (b) Divehi Ganduvaru Hassan Manikufa'anu. m. Athiri-Ganduvaru Bauge Amina Manika, daughter of Athiri-Ganduvaru Bauge Don Manikufa'anu, daughter of Isduge Haji Kuda Manikufa'anu, of Malé. He had issue:
        
        (i) Athiri Ganduvaru Bauge Khadija Manika. m. Don Manikfan.

    - (1) Kaka'age Husain Hilmy Didi. Plenipotentiary Representative in Ceylon 1939-1943. m. (first) Princess Titti Gomafulu, eldest daughter of the H.H. Sultan Muhammad Shams ud-din III Iskander Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun ibn Sultan Ibrahim Nur ud-din Iskandar, Sultan of the Maldives, CMG, by his third wife, Medu Ganduvaru Dori Goma, a grand-daughter of Hassan Didi Velana Manikufa'anu. m. (second) Ma'aranduge Aisha Didi. m. (third) Giniraahige Amina Didi. He had issue, two sons and a daughter:
      - (a) Shams ud-din Hilmy Didi (s/o Titti Gomafulu). m. Habiba, daughter of his paternal uncle, Kaka'age Ibrahim Hilmy Didi. m. Badialibeyge Sitti, daughter of Ma'afaikilegege Sayyid Musa Doriseedi.
      - (b) Anwar Hilmy Didi (s/o Aisha).
      - (a) Fatima Hilmy Didi (d/o Amina).
    - (2) Kaka'age Ibrahim Hilmy Didi, educ. Aligarh Muslim Univ., India. m. Badialibeyge Sitti, daughter of Ma'afaikilegege Sayyid Musa Doriseedi, by his wife, Malin Manippuluge Aisha Didi, daughter of Prince Musa Malin Manippulu Ma'afai Kilege. He had issue, two daughters:

Telecommunication Dept., Plenipotentiary Representative in Ceylon 1952-1955, Ambassador to Sri Lanka (three times), Permanent Representative to UN 1965 -1966, Chair. Afro-Asian Group at UN 1965, Presdt. Colombo Plan Bureau, Minister for Health & Communications, Fisheries, and Agriculture, Appointed Mbr. Citizens Majlis, Mbr. Cncl. for Research of Maldivian History & Culture. m. Athirige Maryam Amin Didi, former wife of Prince Manduge Ahmad Kamal Manippulu, and younger daughter of Al-Amir Ahmad Kuda Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Ahmad Didi], by his wife, Roanuge Aisha Didi. He d. 1979, having had issue, a son:
      - (a) Ismail Hilmy Didi.
    - (1) Kaka'age Fatima Didi. m. Al-Amir 'Ali Kuda Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Henveyruge 'Ali Didi], sometime Chair of the Council of Regency, son of Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi Hakura'a Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Amira Khadija Kamba'adi Kilege [Kaka'age Khadija Didi], daughter of Al-Amir Haji 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kaka'age 'Ali Didi]. She had issue, two sons and three daughters - see above.
    - (2) Kaka'age Khadija Hawa Didi.

  - iv) Kaka'age Dori Didi. She had issue, a daughter:
    - (1) Kaka'age Don Goma. m. H.H. Sultan Ibrahim Nur ud-din II, Sultan of the Maldives - see below.
  - ii) Amira Khadija Kamba'adi Kilege [Kaka'age Khadija Didi]. m. (first) Prince Veyoge Manippulu, elder son of Prince Ibrahim Kudakiba'a Manippulu, by his wife, Maryam Didi, daughter of Malin Manikufa'anu bin Beeru Hassan Didi, by whom she had issue, one sons and two daughters - see below. m. (second) Hassan Hakura'a Manikufa'anu [Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi], son of Henveyruge Musa Didi, by his wife, Amina Didi Sikka, daughter of Husain Manikufa'anu. She had further issue, one son by her second husband - see above.
  - iii) Kaka'age Maryam Don Didi. m. (div.) as his first wife, Al-Amir Haji Ibrahim Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Ibrahim Didi Effendi] (b. at Malé, 1845; d. at Malé, 31^st March 1925), Grand Vizier, second son of Al-Amir 'Ali Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige 'Ali Didi], sometime State Treasurer. She had issue, an only son son - see above.
  - iv) Kaka'age Don Tuttu Didi.
- b) Kaka'age Haji Ahmad Manikufa'anu. He d. on the return journey from Mecca, May 1835.
- c) Kaka'age Hawa Didi. She d. 1829.
- d) Kaka'age Khadija Didi. She d. 1837.
- e) Kaka'age Sanfa'a Didi. m. Ismail Didi. She d. 1843.

1779 - 1799 H.H. Sultan Shah Haji al-Hassan Nur ud-din Iskander ibni al-Marhum Shah Ghazi Hassan 'Izz ud-din, Svasti Sri Mata Maha Sri Bari Kusa Furadana Sri Kula Ran Mut Siaka Sastra Auda Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives. b. before 13^th July 1763, as Prince 'Ali, third and youngest son of H.H. Sultan al-Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun [Dhon Bandara], Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, by his wife, Amina Manikufa'anu, educ. privately. Exiled to Addu Atoll with his two brothers in 1773-1774. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 13^th September 1779. Left on a pilgrimage to Mecca, having appointed his son as Prince Regent, 24^th January 1799. m. (first) at Addu Atoll, 1774, Aisha Manikufa'anu (s.p.), daughter of Musa Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Dhonkadheedha'a Manikufa'anu, daughter of Hawwabeefan. m. (second) Amina, daughter of Al-Amir Muhammad Fa'amuladeri Thakuru'fa'anu, sometime Vizier. He d. from small-pox at Jeddah, Arabia, 2^nd June 1799, having had issue, five sons and two daughters:

1) Prince Husain 'Ali 'Aiz ud-din al-Haj. He d. during the pilgrimage to Mecca with his father, at Qunfudhah, near Jeddah, Arabia, before 13^th December 1799.
2) Prince 'Abdu'l-Hamid Dori Goma (s/o Amina). Led a rebellion against his brother in 1832.
3) H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I ibni al-Marhum Sultan Haji al-Hassan, Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Amina) - see below.
4) Prince Muhammad.
5) Prince 'Abdu'l Majid al-Haj. He d. at Mahe, 16^th August 1820.
1) Princess Fatima Goma al-Haj (d/o Amina).
2) A daughter. She d. during the pilgrimage to Mecca with her father, at Kamaran island, Yemen, before 13^th December 1799.

1799 - 1835 H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander Sri Kaki Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, third son of H.H. Sultan Shah Haji al-Hassan Nur ud-din Iskander ibni al-Marhum Shah Ghazi Hassan 'Izz ud-din, Svasti Sri Mata Maha Sri Bari Kusa Furadana Sri Kula Ran Mut Siaka Sastra Auda Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, by his second wife, Amina, educ. privately. Appointed as Regent by his father when he went on the pilgrimage to Mecca, 24^th January 1799. Succeeded him as Sultan on his death, 2^nd June 1799. m. (first) Amina Manikufa'anu (d. ca. 1829), daughter of 'Ali Khatib Naibu Manikufa'anu. m. (second) Khadija Didi, daughter of Al-Amir Husain Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Husain Didi]. He d. at Malé, 21^st January 1835, having had issue, three sons and five daughters:

1) Prince 'Ali Ala ud-din La'amigasdoruge Goma (s/o Amina). m. a daughter of Al-Amir Ismail Ma'afai Kilege [Athirige Mulige Ismail Didi]. He d.v.p. before (presumed poisoned) 18^th February 1831, having had issue, an only daughter:
- a) Princess Ma'arandu Ganduvaru Goma. m. (first) …, and had issue one son. m. (second) Numara Ganduvaru Fa'arana'a Kilegefa'anu, son of Ismail Didi, by his wife, H.H. Princess Fatima Numara Ganduvaru Goma, Rani Kilege, eldest daughter of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander, Sultan of the Maldives, by whom she had further issue, one daughter - see above:
  - i) Prince Kanzudoruge Manippulu (illegit?).
2) Prince Hassan Iskander Muskulhi Bandarain, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din IV ibn Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din, Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Khadija) - see below.
3) Prince Ibrahim Kudakiba'a Manippulu (s/o Khadija). m. (first) Maryam Didi, daughter of the Malin Manikufa'anu. m. (second) Maryam Didi (d. at Mahe, 25^th June 1847), daughter of Hassan Handegiri Thakurufa'anu, of Thoddu. m. (third) a daughter of Athirige Ibrahim Didi. He d. at Mahe, 29^th June 1847, having had issue, two sons by his first wife:
- a) Prince Veyoge Manippulu (s/o the first wife). m. as her first husband, Amira Khadija Kamba'adi Kilege (m. second, Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi Hakura'a Manikfan), daughter of Al-Amir 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kakage 'Ali Didi], by his wife, Don Didi, daughter of Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Husain Didi.
