Sultan al-Mu'azzam Muzaffar Muhammad 'Imad ud-din II al-Afham Zarb Mahal Sri Kula Sundara Siyaka Sasthura Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives, by his first wife, Amina Kabadi Kilege, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Presumptive by his father, 1715. Proclaimed on the death of his father 23^rd October 1721. m. (first) at Malé, 1724, H.H. (second) at Malé, before 18^th August 1727, 'Aisha II, daughter of 'Ali Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu, son of the Devadhoo Sultan's sister. m. (third) after October 1727 (div. before 1^st august 1730), Hawa Manikufa'anu, daughter of Vizier Haji Ismail Dorimena Thakurafa'anu, of Fenfuri. m. 1) Prince 'Ali. b. at Malé, 10^th July 1732 (s/o Aisha III). He d. aged two weeks.
2) Prince Muhammed Manikufa'anu, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan Haji Muhammed Ghiya'as ud-din, Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Aisha Kabafa'anu) - see below.
3) …, who had issue:

1) H.H. Princess Amina Rani Kabafa'anu. b. at the Kabafa'anu Palace, Malé, 3-4 months before 16^th July 1722 (d/o Aisha Kabafa'anu). Appointed Regent by the nobles, after they had freed the islands of the Malabaris, 7^th April 1754. Resigned shortly afterwards and removed herself to Hithadhu island in Addu Atoll, December 1754. Exiled to Fenfuri, September 1754. m. at Malé, before 20^th October 1743, Ali Vela'ana'a Manikufa'anu, sometime Shahbandaru Kilegefa'anu, elder son of Muhammad Bodu Dorimena Thakurafa'anu, and grandson of Muhammad Kudabanderi Thakurafa'anu, of Addu.
2) H.H. Princess Fatima Rani Kilege. b. at the Kabafa'anu Palace, Malé, September 1722 (d/o 'Aisha Kabafa'anu). m. before 1750, Ahmad Muhi ud-din Khatib Manikufa'anu (k. by the Malabaris, February 1753), elder son of Qazi Hassan Taj ud-din bin Muhammad, sometime Chief Justice. m. (second) before June 1758, Husain Gadahama'anthi a Manikufa'anu (d. after 1761), son of Muhammad Gadahama'anthi Manikufa'anu. She d. at Gan Island, Hadunmathi Atoll, ca. 1794 (bur. there at the Friday Mosque), having had issue, one son by her first husband:
- a) Qazi Ibrahim Siraj ud-din Fandiyaru Manikufa'anu. b. at Malé, 1750. Chief Justice 1787-1788, 1789-1792 & 1806. m. (first) Fatima Didi. He d. at Malé, 18^th February 1831, having had issue, three sons and three daughters:
  - i) Qazi Muhammad Muhib ud-din Fandiyaru Manikufa'anu (s/o Fatima). Chief Justice 1831-1833. Emigrated to Arabia. m. Fatima Didi. He d. 24^th September 1868, having had issue, a son:
    - (1) Hassan Khatib Manikufa'anu. He had issue:
      - (a) Ibrahim Khatib Manikufa'anu. He had issue:
        
        (i) Don Didi. m. Bodugaluge Latuttu Didi, son of Bodugalu Ismail Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Medu Didi, daughter of Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Husain Didi.
  - ii) Haji Zakariya Didi Khatib Manikufa'anu (s/o Fatima). Acting Chief Justice 1833-1835. He d. at Hudayda, Arabia, 30^th May 1835, having had issue, a son:

  - iii) Dhabugasdoshuge Ahmad Didi Banda'ara Naibu (son of a different mother). Attorneygen. He d. at Ma'a-ebudu island, 2^nd September 1864.
  - i) Rugiyath Didi (d/o Fatima). m. (first) before 1831, Mulaku Muhammad Khatib Naibu Manikufa'anu (d. at Malé, 10^th February 1835), sometime Attorneygen. and Khatib of Ma'afannu ward. m. (second) Ahmad Didi. She had issue, one son and one daughter by her first husband:
    - (1) Hithigasdhoshuge Ahmad Didi Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu of Ma'afannu ward.
    - (1) Zulaikha Didi.
  - ii) Zainab Didi (d/o Fatima). m. (first) Beeru Hassan Didi. m. (second) Landhoo Fandiyaru's Muhammad Manikufa'anu. m. (third) Ahmad Didi, son of Kalu Didi. She had issue, two sons and one daughter by her first, one son by her second and one son by her third husband:
    - (1) Malin Manikufa'anu. He had issue:
      - (a) Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu. m. a daughter of Al-Amir 'Ali Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige 'Ali Didi]. He d. at the Civil Hospital, Colombo, October 1907, having had issue, two sons and a daughter:
        
        (i) Velanage Muhammad Didi. Sec for Home Affairs. m. Athirege Tuttu Don Didi, daughter of Al-Amir Haji Ibrahim Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Ibrahim Didi Effendi], sometime Grand Vizier, by his third wife, Ekgamuge Don Didi. He had issue (grandchildren were Muhammad Zaki and Ahmad Zaki):
        
        1. Velanage Ibrahim Muhammad Didi. Senior Vice- Presdt Peoples' Progressive Party (RMP) 1950-1953, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Agriculture and the Capital 1952-1953, Acting Head of State (Wali ul-Amr=Governor in Command) from 2^nd September 1953 until the restoration of the sultanate on 7^th March 1954. Prime Minister 1953-1957. m. Princess Munarudoruge Tuttu Goma, daughter of Prince Manduge Dori Manippulu, sometime Regent, by his second wife, Henveyruge La Didi, daughter of Hassan Hakura'a Manikufa'anu [Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi]. Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din IV Iskandar, Sultan of the Maldives.
        
        (iii) Velanage La Didi. m. (first) as his third wife, Prince Manduge Dori Manippulu, sometime Regent, third son of H.H. Sultan Hassan 'Izz ud-din [Manduge Bodu Dori Manippulu], by his second wife, Nabila Manduge Don Didi, daughter of Athirige Tuttu Ahmad Didi. m. (second) as his first wife, Prince Ahmad Manduge Tuttu Manippulu (b. at the Kambaafaanu Ganduvaru, Malé, 27^th January 1877; d. at Malé, 9^th May 1946, bur. there at Hukuru Miskiy), fourth son of H.H. Sultan Hassan 'Izz ud-din [Manduge Bodu Dori Manippulu], by his second wife, Nabila Manduge Don Didi, daughter of Athirige Tuttu Ahmad Didi. She had issue, one son by her first and one son and two daughters by her second husband - see below.

Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander Sri Kaki Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives, by his second wife, Khadija Didi, daughter of Al-Amir Husain Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Husain Didi]. She had issue, two sons - see below.
    - (2) 'Abdu'llah Naibu Manikufa'anu (s/o the second husband).
    - (3) Muhammad Didi (s/o the third husband).
  - iii) Zulaikha Didi (d/o Fatima). m. Handegiri Thakurufa'anu, of Thoddu. She had issue, one daughter:

Qazi Muhammad Shams ud-din Fandiyaru Manikufa'anu (k. by the Malabaris, February 1753), younger son of Qazi Hassan Taj ud-din. She d. at Dhiyamigili, 1794, having had issue, two sons, including:
- a) Qazi Ibrahim Baha ud-din Manikufa'anu. Chief Justice 1762-1768. He d. at Kuredhivaru, Noonu Atoll, ca. September 1768.
6) Princess Sanfa'a Rendi Kabafa'anu. b. at the Kabafa'anu Palace, Malé, October 1734 (d/o 'Aisha Kabafa'anu). m. and had issue, a son:

      - (a) Bodugaluge Latuttu Didi. m. Don Didi, daughter of Ibrahim Khatib Manikufa'anu. He had issue, a daughter:
        
        (i) Bodugaluge Aisha Didi. m. Sayyid Husain Afifi ud-din al-Husaini Ba-Alawi [Bodufenvalhuge Seedi], sometime Chief Justice, son of Sayyid Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Husaini Ba-Alawi [Kuda Seedi], by his wife, Bodufenvaluge Don Manika, daughter of Eduruge Shaikh al-Faqih al-Qazi Sayyid Ibrahim Majd ud-din bin Musa, Fandiya'aru Thakkan, of Midu, in Addu Atoll, sometime Chief Justice. 1750 -1757 H.H. Proclaimed on the death of his brother, 26^th February 1750. Abducted by the 'Ali Raja of Cannanore after the Malabaris had conquered Malé and destroyed the Royal palace, 18^th December 1752. Imprisoned on Kavaratti, in the Laccadives, until transferred to Minicoy in April 1757. Blinded and presented to Hyder 'Ali at Nagar. m. (first) Amina Manikfan (d. at Malé, May 1736), second daughter of Vizier Hassan Bodu Hakura'a Thakurafa'anu of Thakandu, Tiladummati Atoll. m. (second) at Malé, May 1736, Maryam Manikufa'anu, third daughter of Vizier Hassan Bodu Hakura'a Thakurafa'anu of Thakandu, Tiladummati Atoll, by his wife, Mava'a Kilegefa'anu, daughter of Fasmandhu Vizier Hassan Hakura'a Thakurufa'anu. He d. in captivity, at Minicoy, Lacadive Islands, 25^th June 1757, having had issue:

1) H.H. Princess Amina Gomu Rani Kilege. Appointed Regent by the nobles, after the resignation of her cousin, 1753.
