1) 1) Al-Amir Haji 'Ali Thukkala Ma'afai Kilege. m. Kakuni Dio, of Devadhu Island, Huvadu Atoll. He had issue:
- a) Muhammad Devadhu Fandiyaru Rasefa'anu, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan Al-Ghazi Muhammad II ibnu Haji 'Ali Thukkala Radunai Svasti Sirimata Sri Kula Ranmani Auda Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives - seee below.
- a) An elder daughter, who m. and had issue, a son:
  - i) Devadhu 'Ali Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu. He d. at Malé, before 5^th October 1739 n.s., having had issue, a daughter:
    - (1) Devadhu Muhammad Thakuru'fa'anu. Deputy Da'arada 1749.
    - (1) Aisha Dio. m. at Malé, before 18^th August 1727 n.s., as his second wife, H.H. Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar II Svasti Sri Rannavaloka Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives (b. at the Dhiyamigili Palace, Malé, 11^th September 1708; d. at Malé, 24^th February 1750, bur. there, Ibrahim Rasgefa'anu Ziya'araiy), second son of H.H. Sultan al-Mu'azzam Muzaffar Muhammad 'Imad ud-din II al-Afham Sri Kula Sundara Siyaka Sastra Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives, by his first wife, Amina Kabadi Kilege - see below.

1692 - 1701 H.H. Sultan Al-Ghazi Muhammad II ibnu Haji 'Ali Thukkala Radunai Svasti Sirimata Maha Sri Kula Ranmani Audana Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, son of Al-Amir Haji 'Ali Thukkala Ma'afai Kilege bin Muhammad al-Kabir Fadiyaru Thakuru'fa'anu, of Addu Atoll, by his wife, Kakuni Dio, of Davaddu Island, Huvadu Atoll, educ. privately. He served as a vizier and was styled Devadhu Muhammad Fandiyaru Rasefa'anu before his accession. Proclaimed Sultan after the eviction of Maryam Kabafa'anu from the palace of her late husband Sultan Muhammad Shams ud-din, 5^th November 1692 n.s. He took a great interest in scholarship and learning, reduced taxation, forbade certain inhumane punishments, restored the mosques and assisted those in debt. m. (first) H.H. Sanfa'a Kanba'a Khadija Kabafa'anu Rani Kilege (d. at Malé, 1697, bur. there near the Friday Mosque), elder daughter of Al-Amir Ibrahim Shahbandaru Kilege of Isdu. m. (second) at Malé, 1693, Maryam Kabafa'anu (k. by 'Ali Shahbandaru, during her confinement, at Malé, 25^th January 1701), widow of H.H. Sultan Sayyid Muhammad Shams ud-din al-Hamawi and former wife of Grand Vizier 'Ali Funadhu Khatib Thakurufa'anu and H.H. Sultan Muhammad Muhi ud-din ul-Adil, daughter of the Velana Thakurufa'anu of Fenfuri. m. (third) 1697, Sanfa'a Bifa'anu (d. at Malé, 14^th October 1702, bur. there at the Dolidan Miskiy Cemetery), daughter of the Vizier Haji Husain Handegiri Kilege Thakurufa'anu. He d. from an illness, at Malé, 16^th January 1701 n.s. (bur. there beside his first wife, on the western side of the Hukuru Miskiy).
