Don Maraduru Fandiaiy Kilegefa'anu of Hura'a Island, North Malé Atoll. He had issue, three sons:

1) Kaka'a 'Ali Ma'afai Thakuru'fa'anu, of Fenfushi, Ari Atoll. m. Bodugaluge Bodu Fatima Bifa'anu, daughter of Dhon Ahmad Eduru Kilegefa'anu, by his wife, Bodugalu Amina Manikufa'anu. He had issue, a daughter:
- a) Amina Manikufa'anu [Bodu Didi]. m. H.H. Sultan al-Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun [Dhon Bandara], Sultan the Maldives (d. at the Veyodhoshu Palace, Malé, 1^st February 1767), elder son of her first cousin, Al-Amir Muhammed Fa'amuladeri Kilegefa'anu, of Hura'a Island, North Malé Atoll, sometime Grand Vizier, by his wife, Amina Manikufa'anu, daughter of Muhammad Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu of Muli Island, Mulaku Atoll. 2) Al-Amir Husain Da'arada Kilege, of Hura'a Island, North Malé Atoll. He d. 1726, having had issue:
- a) Al-Amir Muhammed Fa'amuladeri Kilegefa'anu, of Hura'a Island, North Malé Atoll. Grand Vizier. Taken captive with the Sultan by the Malabaris in 1752. m. (first) Amina Manikufa'anu, daughter of Muhammad Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu of Muli Island, Mulaku Atoll. m. (second) …He d. in exile, having had issue, three sons:
  - i) Hassan Fa'amuladeri Manikufa'anu, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan al-Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun [Dhon Bandarain], Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Amina) - see below.
  - ii) Al-Amir Husain Bodu Dorimena Kilegefa'anu (s/o Amina). m. (first) Zuleika Dio. m. (second) Amina Manikufa'anu. He d. before 9^th June 1766, having had issue, a son:
    - (1) Al-Amir Muhammed Manikufa'anu Farina Kilege, who succeeded as Sultan Muhammed Shams ud-din Iskandar II (s/o Amina) - see below.
  - iii) Al-Amir 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu (s/o the second wife). He d. 1782.
3) Ibrahim Eduru Thakuru'fa'anu. He had issue:
- a) Bodu Muridu Thakuru'fa'anu. He had issue:
  - i) Al-Amir Husain Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Husain Didi]. He had issue, four sons and one daughter:

Princess Fatima Numara Ganduvaru Goma, Rani Kilege, former wife of Ahmad Manikufa'anu, and second daughter of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander, Sultan of the Maldives, by his wife, Amina Manikufa'anu, daughter of 'Ali Khatib Naibu Manikufa'anu. She had issue, one son and a daughter, including:
        
        (i) Numara Ganduvaru Fa'arhana'a Kilegefa'anu. m. (first) Princess Ma'arandu Ganduvaru Goma, only daughter of Prince 'Ali Ala ud-din Lamigasdoruge Goma. m. (second) a daughter of Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu. m. (third) Vithuvvi Goyye Didi. m. (fourth) a daughter of Nelu Haji Adam Kaleygefan. He had issue, four sons and four daughters:

    - (3) Al-Amir Haji Ahmad Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Haji Don Ahmad Didi]. Grand Vizier 1835. m. (div. before 1831) the eldest daughter of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander, Sultan of the Maldives, by his wife, Amina Manikufa'anu, daughter of 'Ali Khatib Naibu Manikufa'anu. He had issue:
      - (a) Al-Amir 'Ali Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige 'Ali Didi]. State Treasurer. He d. at Galle, 1878, having had issue:
        
        (i) Athirige 'Abdu'llah Didi, educ. Richmond Coll., Galle, Ceylon. Cdt Militia and Sultan's Bodyguard. He d. before, 1905.
        
        (ii) Al-Amir Haji Ibrahim Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Ibrahim Didi Effendi]. b. at Malé, 1845, educ. Calcutta and Richmond Coll., Galle, Ceylon. Turkish Consul at Galle, JP for the Island of Ceylon, Grand Vizier 1883-1887, 1888-1899 and 1904-1925. m. (first) (div.) Kakage Maryam Don Didi, second daughter of Al-Amir 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kakage 'Ali Didi], by his wife, Don Didi, daughter of Ma'ava'a Ganduvaru Husain Didi. m. (second) Esjehi Ganduvaru Don Sitti (d.s.p.), daughter of the Al-Amir Esjehi Ganduvaru Sayyid Ma'afai Kilege. m. (third) (div.) Ekgamuge Don Didi (m. second, Hassan Hakura'a Manikufa'anu [Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi], by whom she had further issue, two sons), daughter of Al-Amir Hassan Fa'amuladeri Kilegefa'anu [Malinge Hassan Didi]. m. (fourth) m. Rahmat Didi, a Circasian lady. m. (fifth) m. at Malé, 1883, Princess Athirige Goma, elder daughter of H.H. Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din IV Iskandar, Sultan of the Maldives, by his wife, H.H. Kuda-Eduruge Zuleikha, Rani Kilege. He d. from a stroke, at Athireege, Malé, 31^st March 1925, having had issue:
        
        1. Al-Amir Ahmad Kuda Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Ahmad Didi]. b. before 24^th November 1881 (s/o Maryam), educ. Richmond Coll., Galle, Ceylon.         b. Athirige Maryam Amin Didi. m. (first) (div.) Prince Manduge Ahmad Kamal Manippulu, son of Prince Manduge Dori Manippulu. m. (second) Al- Al-Amir Ahmad Hilmy Fa'arana'a Kilegefa'anu [Kaka'age The Hon Ahmad Hilmy Didi], CVO (b. 5^th June 1917; d. 1979), sometime Ambassador and Minister, youngest son of Kakage Ismail Didi Dorimena Manikufa'anu. m. Serikkal Don Manikufa'anu, daughter of Thudathifa'anuge Landran Awgoathi Muhammad Bodu Thakurufa'anu, of Minicoy. She had issue, one son by her second husband.
        
        2. Athirige 'Abdu'l-Majid Didi Effendi, who became H.H. al-Muntakhab al-Arash ud-Daula al-Mahaldiviya Al-Amir Amin 'Abdu'l-Majid Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu (s/o Ekgamuge Don Didi).
        
        3. Athirige 'Abdu'l-Hamid Didi Effendi (s/o Ekgamuge Don Didi). Supt. of Customs 1905-1908, Plenipotentiary Representative in Ceylon 1908-1932, Minister for Labour, Food & Handicrafts 1932-1933. He d. at Colombo, Ceylon, July 1959.
        
        1. Athirige Tuttu Don Didi (d/o Ekgamuge Don Didi). m. Velanage Muhammad Didi, elder son of Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu. She had issue - see above.
        
        2. Athirige Amina Didi (d/o Rahmat). m. Prince Marandu-Gaduvaru Tuttu Manippulu, younger son of H.H. Sultan Ibrahim Nur ud-din II Iskandar, Sultan of the Maldives, by his fifth wife, Don Didi, daughter of Hassan Didi, Hakuru Manikufa'anu - see below. Copyright© Christopher Buyers
        
        3. Princess Athirige Tuttu Goma (d/o Princess Athirige Goma). m. Velanage Ibrahim Didi, younger son of Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu.
        
        (iii) A daughter. m. as his first wife, Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu (d. at the Civil Hospital, Colombo, October 1907), son of the Malin Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Zainab Didi, second daughter of Qazi Ibrahim Siraj ud-din Fandiyaru Manikufa'anu, sometime Chief Justice. She had issue - see above.
        
        (iv) Sarah Didi. m. as his first wife, H.H. Sultan Haji Muhammad 'Imad ud-din VI Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives (b. ca. 1863), seond son of H.H. Sultan Hassan 'Izz ud-din Manduge Bodu Dori Manippulu, by his second wife, Manduge Don Didi, daughter of Athirige Tuttu Ahmad Didi. She d.s.p. - see below.
    - (4) Athirige Ibrahim Didi. He had issue:
      - (a) A daughter. m. as his third wife, Prince Ibrahim Kudakiba'a Manippulu (d. at Mahe, 29^th June 1847), youngest son of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander Sri Kaki Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives, by his second wife, Khadija Didi, daughter of Al-Amir Husain Dorimena Kilegefa'anu [Athirige Husain Didi]- see below.
    - (5) Khadija Didi. m. H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander, Sultan of the Maldives (d. at Malé, 21^st January 1835), second son of H.H. Sultan Haji al-Hassan Nur ud-din Iskander, Sultan of the Maldives. She had issue, two sons and three daughters - see below.

1759 - 1767 H.H. Sultan al-Ghazi al-Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun [Dhon Bandara], Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, elder son of Al-Amir Muhammed Fa'amuladeri Kilegefa'anu, of Hura'a Island, North Malé Atoll, by his wife, Amina Manikufa'anu, daughter of Muhammad Khatib Thakuru'fa'anu of Muli Island, Mulaku Atoll, educ. privately. Styled Fa'amuladeri Manikufa'anu before 1754. Expelled the Malabaris on 7^th April 1754 and became de-facto regent under the style of Al-Amir Ghazi Hassan Rannabanderi Manikufa'anu. Proclaimed as Sultan by popular demand with the style of Sultan al-Ghazi Hassan 'Izz ud-din Sri Kula Ranmiba Danala Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun and formally enthroned at the old Royal Palace, at Malé, 6^th December 1759. Signed a Treaty of Defence and Alliance with the French and maintained a French "Garde du Corps". m. Amina Manikufa'anu [Bodu Didi] (d. from small-pox, at Jeddah, Arabia, after 2^nd June 1799), daughter of his first cousin, Kaka'a 'Ali Ma'afai Thakuru'fa'anu, of Fenfushi, Ari Atoll, by his wife, Bodugaluge Bodu Fatima Bifa'anu. He d. at the Veyodhoshu Palace, Malé, 1^st February 1767, having had issue, three sons, and having nominated Muhammed Manikufa'anu of the Dhiyamigili dynasty as his successor:

1) Prince Muhammad, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'iz ud-din Iskander ibni al-Marhum Shah Ghazi Hassan 'Izz ud-din, Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Amina) - see below.
2) Prince Ibrahim Don Goma. b. before 25^th August 1759, educ. privately. (s/o Amina). Exiled to Addu Atoll with his two brothers in 1773-1774. He d. after 24^th September 1779.
3) Prince Ali, who succeeded as H.H. Sultan Shah Haji al-Hassan Nur ud-din Iskander ibni al-Marhum Shah Ghazi Hassan 'Izz ud-din, Sultan of the Maldives (s/o Amina) - see below.
