1835 - 1882 H.H. Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din IV Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives. b. 1818, second son of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din I Iskander Sri Kaki Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, by his second wife, Khadija Didi, educ. privately. Proclaimed on the death of his father, 22nd January 1835. m. (first) H.H. Kudaeduruge Zulaikha Rani Kilege, a commoner whose family were elevated to noble rank before she could marry the sultan. m. (second) Maryam Didi, elder daughter of Ahmad Naib Manikufa'anu, by his wife, Daleyka Didi. He d. at Malé, 10th January 1882 (bur. there at Hukuru Miskiy), having had issue, two sons:

1885 - 1888 H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din II Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, eldest son of H.H. Sultan Hassan 'Izz ud-din ibni al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din [Manduge Bodu Dori Manippulu], by his first wife, Handeygirige Kahambuge Aisha Bodu Didi, educ. privately. Succeeded on the abdication of his paternal uncle, 27th October 1885. Accepted British Protection, 16th December 1887. Abdicated in favour of his uncle, 1888. m. (first) a lady from Ekgamuge. m. (second) H.H. Zulaikha Rani Kilege, née Dandikorige Zulaikha Kamba'a Didi, a princess of Royal descent. He d. at Malé, 23rd September 1892, having had issue, two sons:

Sultan Ibrahim Nur ud-din II Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Svasti Sri Mata Maha Sri Bari Kusa Furadana Sri Kula Sada Ira Siaka Sastara Auda Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun ibni al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din Iskandar, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives, second son of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Mu'in ud-din II Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of the Maldives, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 10th January 1882. Abdicated in favour of his nephew, 27th October 1885. Resumed the throne on the abdication of his nephew, 1888. m. (first) Don Didi (d.s.p.), daughter of Malinge Hassan Velana Manikufa'anu. m. (second) Kakage Don Goma, daughter of Dori Didi, daughter of Al-Amir 'Ali Rannabanderi Kilegefa'anu [Kakage 'Ali Didi], and great-great grand-daughter of H.H. Sultan Muhammad Muiz ud-din, by whom he had issue one son and two daughters. m. (third) Bodugaluge Don Didi, daughter of Roanuge Musa Didi, by whom he had issue one son and two daughters. m. (fourth) Ekgamuge Medu Didi, daughter of Al-Amir Hassan Fa'amuladeri Kilegefa'anu, by whom he had issue one daughter. m. (fifth) Henveyruge Don Didi, daughter of Hassan Hakura'a Manikufa'anu [Henveyruge Don Hassan Didi], by whom he had issue two sons. He d. at Malé, 29th November 1892, having had issue, four sons and five daughters, including:

Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din V Sri Kula Sundara Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun, Sultan of Land and Sea, Lord of the twelve-thousand islands and Sultan of the Maldives. b. at Malé, 1884, as Prince Machchangoli Aa Gaduvaru Manippulu, second son of H.H. Sultan Ibrahim Nur ud-din II Iskandar Sri Kula Sundara Svasti Sri Mata Maha Sri Bari Kusa Furadana Sri Kula Sada Ira Siaka Sastara Auda Kirti Kathiri Buwana Maha Radun ibni al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad 'Imad ud-din Iskandar, Sultan of the Maldives, by his third wife, Bodugaluge Don Didi, educ. privately. Proclaimed and installed on the death of his father, by the Council of Ministers, December 1892. Reigned for three months and deposed following strong protests to the British Governor of Ceylon, 20th May 1893. m. Fatima Didi. He d. during his pilgrimage to Mecca, at Bombay, India, June 1920, having had issue, two sons:
