1520 - 1530 Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy [Rangita], Queen of Imerina [Merimanjaka], daughter of King Andrianmpandramanenitra [Rafandramanenitra], King of Imerina, a descendant of Queen Ravadyfohy. Transferred her capital to Alasora. She d. at Imerimanjaka, ca. 1530 (bur. there), having had issue, two sons and one daughter:

1530 - 1540 Queen Rafohy, Queen of Imerina [Merimanjaka], daughter of Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy [Rangita], Queen of Imerina, by her husband, Andriamanalimanjaka [Some sources suggest that Rafohy was the adoptive sister, not daughter, of Rangita). Succeeded on the death of her mother, ca. 1530. m. (first) Andriamanalimanjaka [Ramanalimanjaka]. m. (second) Manelobe [aka Emmanuel Le Portugais]. She d. at Imerimanjaka, ca. 1540, having had issue, one son by her first, and one son and one daughter by her second husband:

1540 - 1575 Andriamanelo, King of Imerina, eldest son of Queen Rafohy, Queen of Imerina, by her husband, Manelobe. Designiated as principal heir by his mother during her lifetime. Succeeded on the death of his mother, ca. 1540. He conquered and drove away the Vazimba and established Merina domination in the centre of the island of Madagascar. He expanded Alasora and constructed several monuments including the Hadivory, Hadifetsy, and Vavahady. During his reign, the smelting of iron was first discovered and put to use in making implements and weaponry. m. Queen Rasolobe, née Princess Ramaitsoanala, who received the name Randapavola on her marriage and Rasolobe upon the birth of Ralambo ('the great substitute), only daughter of his maternal uncle, Rabiby, King of Ambohidrabiby, by his wife, Ramaitsoakanjo. He d. at a very advanced age, at the Irarisambo, Alasora, Avaradrano, ca. 1575 (bur. there), having had issue, seven children (six children expired in infancy), including a seventh child and successor:
