King Andrianmpandramanenitra [Rafandramanenitra], King of Imerina. m. Rafaramahery. He d. at Ampandrana (bur. there), having had issue, one son and one daughter:

1) Prince Ratsiseranina, of Andraisisa. He d. Andraisisa, having had issue, a son:
- a) Andrianmanitrandranovola. b. at Andraisisa. He d. Andraisisa, having had issue, a son:
  - i) Andriandranomena. b. at and d. at Andraisisa.

1520 - 1530 Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy [Rangita], Queen of Imerina [Merimanjaka], daughter of King Andrianmpandramanenitra [Rafandramanenitra], King of Imerina, a descendant of Queen Ravadyfohy. Transferred her capital to Alasora. She d. at Imerimanjaka, ca. 1530 (bur. there), having had issue, two sons and one daughter:

1) Rabiby, King of Ambohidrabiby. A well known astronomer (Habib in Arabic). m. Ramaitsoakanjo, daughter of Adriandrambondanitra Andriantomponirahina. He d. at Ankotrokotroka, 15xx (bur. Ambohimanga), having had issue, a son and a daughter:
- a) Andriamamilaza Andriandriambe [Andriamamilazabe]. m. Andriamanentohento. He had issue, a daughter:
  - i) Princess Ratompokoamandrainy Rabehavina [Rafotsiramarohasinamanjaka]. m. King Ralambo, King of Imerina (b. 1^st Alahamady, 15xx; d. at Ambohidrabiby, 1612, bur. in the tomb of Rabiby), son of King Andrianmanelo, King of Imerina, by his wife, Princess Randapavola, the only daughter of King Rabiby, King of Ambohidrabiby. She had issue, one son and one daughter - see below.
- b) Princess Randapavola [Maitsoanala Rasolobe]. m. Andriamanelo, King of Imerina (d. at the Irarisambo, Alasora, Avaradrano, ca. 1575), eldest son of her paternal aunt, Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy [Rangita], Queen of Imerina, by her second husband, Manelobe. She had issue, one son - see below.
2) Prince Andrianamponga II.

1530 - 1540 Queen Rafohy, Queen of Imerina [Merimanjaka], daughter of Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy [Rangita], Queen of Imerina, by her husband, Andriamanalimanjaka [Some sources suggest that Rafohy was the adoptive sister, not daughter, of Rangita). Succeeded on the death of her mother, ca. 1530. m. (first) Andriamanalimanjaka [Ramanalimanjaka]. m. (second) Manelobe [aka Emmanuel Le Portugais]. She d. at Imerimanjaka, ca. 1540, having had issue, one son by her first, and one son and one daughter by her second husband:

1) Prince (Printsy) Andriamanitany [Andriamananitany], Prince of Ambohitrandiananahary (s/o Andriamanalimanjaka). Designiated as secondary heir by his mother during her lifetime. Discontented with his lot, he raised an army and rebelled against his mother's settlement. m. Randranomboahangy. He was k. by the people for rebellion, before 1575, having had issue, several children including two sons:
- a) Prince (Printsy) Andrianamboninolona, of Ambohitralantenina. b. before 1575. Received Ambohitrabiby and Kionjy in fief from King Ralambo. Arrested at Anjonandriana on the orders of King Andriamanelo, after the death of his father, and taken to Ambohitromby. m. Princess (Printsesy) Rasoavimbahoaka Rafotsindrindramanjaka, his father's half-sister, daughter of Queen Rangitamanjakatrimovavy, Queen of Imerina, by her second husband, Manelobe. He d. at Ambohitromby (bur. there), having had issue, three sons and three daughters (ancestors of the Zanakambony clan):
  - i) Prince (Printsy) Andriantomponarivo. b. at Kilonjy. He resided at Ambohitrabiby and received Fieferana and Kionjy in fief. He d. at Fieferana (bur. there), having had issue, five sons and one daughter:
    - (1) Prince (Printsy) Andriakaradria.
    - (2) Prince (Printsy) Andriankarefobe.
    - (3) Prince (Printsy) Andriandranomanjaka [Andriandranotolo], of Ambohitrandriananahary. He had issue, two sons:
      - (a) Prince (Printsy) Andriandombofotsy.

    - (5) Prince (Printsy) Andrianolanantoandriana, of Ambohitrandriananahary.
    - (1) Princess (Printsesy) Ratompoamaindrainy [Queen Rafotsindrindramanjaka]. m. at Ambohidrabiby, King Ralambo, King of Imerina (b. 1^st Alahamady, 15xx; d. at Rovan' Ambohidrabiby, Imandiavato, Avaradrano, 1612, bur. in the tomb of Rabiby), son of King Andrianmanelo, King of Imerina, by his wife, Princess Randapavola, the only daughter of King Rabiby, King of Ambohidrabiby. She had issue, one son - see below.
  - ii) Prince (Printsy) Andriandahitompoina. He resided at Ambohitriniandriana (bur. Ambohitromby).
  - iii) Prince (Printsy) Andriankafazaka.
  - i) Princess (Printsesy) Ramahazakafoloarivo. She resided at Nanjakana and received Namehana in fief from King Andrianjaka. She had issue, a son:
    - (1) Prince (Printsy) Andriantafidrazaka, of Namehana. He had issue, a son:
      - (a) Andriampiloha. He had issue, a son:
        
        (i) Andriananonalina. He had issue.
  - ii) Princess (Printsesy) Ratompokoandrianambavy [Ratsitohininamanjaka], styled Ramarohavina. m. her first cousin, King Rabiby Ralambo, King of Imerina, son of King Andrianmanelo, King of Imerina. She had issue - see below.
  - ii) Princess (Printsesy) Rambavy, of Masindray, in Atsimondrano, a dependency of Alasora.
- b) Prince (Printsy) Andriamitondra.

1540 - 1575 Andriamanelo, King of Imerina, eldest son of Queen Rafohy, Queen of Imerina, by her husband, Manelobe. Designiated as principal heir by his mother during her lifetime. Succeeded on the death of his mother, ca. 1540. He conquered and drove away the Vazimba and established Merina domination in the centre of the island of Madagascar. He expanded Alasora and constructed several monuments including the Hadivory, Hadifetsy, and Vavahady. During his reign, the smelting of iron was first discovered and put to use in making implements and weaponry. m. Queen Rasolobe, nÃ©e Princess Ramaitsoanala, who received the name Randapavola on her marriage and Rasolobe upon the birth of Ralambo ('the great substitute), only daughter of his maternal uncle, Rabiby, King of Ambohidrabiby, by his wife, Ramaitsoakanjo. He d. at a very advanced age, at the Irarisambo, Alasora, Avaradrano, ca. 1575 (bur. there), having had issue, seven children (six children expired in infancy), including a seventh child and successor:
