Prince (Printsy) Andriantomponimerina I, Prince of Imarovatana, son of King Andriamasinavalona [Andrianjakanavalondambo], King of Imerina, by his second wife, Ramananandrianjaka I. Granted Imarovatana as his fief during his father's lifetime, including Ambohitrdrarimo, Ambohitrimanjaka, Ambohimanoa, Ambohimanaha, and Fandravazana as far as Amboanana, with the intention that he should become ruler of that place at his death. He established his capital at Ambohidratrimo. m. (div. before 1710) Queen Ravolondralambo II, Princess of Ilafy and Namehana (m. second, King Andriantsimitoviaminandriana [Andriantsimitoviaminandriandrazaka], King of Avaradrano, and d.s.p. - see below), daughter of his aunt, Princess Ravolondralambo I. He d.v.p. after a painful illness, a month after his father's escape from imprisonment, at Rovan' Ambohidratrimo, before 1710 (bur. Rovan' Antananarivo), having had issue, two sons:

1) King Andriamananimerina I, King of Imarovatana - see below.
2) Prince (Printsy) Andriampoinimerina. m. Princess Rasahala, daughter of Andriampeno Randriambolanambo, Prince of Namehana, by his wife, Ramanitrandrianstimitovy-aminandriandehibe Rasoherinaraniny, daughter of Princess Ranavalontsitoviaminandriana.

1710 - 1732 King Andriamananimerina I, King of Imarovatana. b. as Ratrimonibemihisatra. Famous, when aged 12 or 13, for engineering the escape of his grandfather King Andriamasinavalona from detention by his father Prince Andriantomponimerina. Appointed as Heir Apparent to Imarovatana by his grandfather, after the death of his father. Succeeded him as King of Imarovatana with the reign name of Andriamananimerina I, 1710. m. Queen Ramorabe (d. at Ambohidratrimo, bur. there), daughter of Andriampeno Randriambolanambo, Prince of Namehana, by his wife, Ramanitrandrianstimitovy-aminandriandehibe Rasoherinaraniny, daughter of Princess Ranavalontsitoviaminandriana. He d. at Rovan' Ambohidratrimo, ca. 1732 (bur. there), having had issue, four sons and three daughters:

1) King Andriantomponimerina II, King of Imarovatana - see below.

1732 - 17xx King Andriantomponimerina II, King of Imarovatana. b. as Andriambelomanana, eldest son of King Andriamananimerina I, King of Imarovatana, by his wife, Queen Raorabe. Succeeded on the death of his father as King of Imarovatana 1732. Proclaimed with the reign name of Andriantomponimerina II. He had issue, an only son:

1) Prince (Printsy) Andrianavalontompo, Prince of Namehana and Ambohimanoa. He d. at Ambohitrinimanjaka.

17xx- 17xx Queen Ramanandrianjaka II, Queen of Imarovatana. b. as Ravorombato, daughter of Princess Rabodofilankanina, daughter of King Andriamananimerina I, King of Imarovatana. Expelled her uncle and usurped the crown. Installed at Ambohidratrimo as Queren Ramanandrianjaka II. m. (first) …m. (second) Rabezaka, of Anosinimerina, near Andriantany, of the Andriamasinavalona caste of nobility. She had issue, four sons and four daughters:

1) Prince (Printsy) Ramena, of Ambohimanga (s/o Rabezaka). Submitted to King Andrianampoinimerina, but driven out by the Marovatana people for his treason. Settled at Alatsinainy Belanitra. He was k. (executed) for for the murder of the noble Manintsana, and his estates declared a Royal dependency.
2) Prince Rabehety, who succeeded as King Andriantomponimerinamandimby, King of Imarovatana (s/o Rabezaka) - see below.
3) Prince (Printsy) Andriantsolo, of Antongony (s/o Rabezaka). He was k. in battle (bur. Antongona), having had issue, four children:
- a) Prince (Printsy) Rakoto.
- b) Prince (Printsy) Razanabahoaka.
- c) Prince (Printsy) Andriantsisisina.
- a) Princess (Printsesy) Ramboavavy.

Marie Rasoamihako (b. 1^st January 1896; d. 5^th January 1989), elder daughter of Ratsimamakitany Ratany, by his wife, Ramariavero, youngest daughter of Rasehenolahy. He d. 7^th July 1925, having had issue, three sons and two daughters:

5) H.M. Queen Rambolamasoandro (d/o Rabezaka). m. ca. 1780, King Imboasalama Andrianampoinimerina, King of Imerina (b. at Kaloy, 1740; d. at Antananarivo, 1810), third son of Andriamiaramanjaka, of Anjafy and Kaloy, by his wife, Princess Ranavalonandriambelomasina, daughter of King Rakotomavo Andriambelomasina, King of Avaradrano. She was k. on the orders of Queen Ranavalona I, at Antananarivo, 4^th August 1828 (bur. at Tanjondroho, Imarovatana, but shortly afterward exhumed and her body left on Mount Ambohimanoa to be devoured by dogs and birds), having had issue, one son and four daughters - see below. She also had further issue, two sons, by Anosimanjaka, of the Andriamasinavalona lineage:
- a) H.R.H. Prince (Printsy) Ramarotafika [Ratafika] (s/o Queen Rambolamasoandro by another man), educ. privately at Mauritius. Raised to the title of Prince (Printsy) with the style of His Royal Highness by his half-brother, King Radama I. Imprisoned by Queen Ranavalona I, and allowed to starve to death. m. (first) … m. (second) Rasoaray. He d. 18xx (bur. Ambohidratrimo), having had issue:

    - (1) Rasoamanantena. m. Edouard Andrianjafitrimo (b. 28^th May 1881; d. 1972, bur. Manintona, Marovatana), son of Rasehenolahy, by his first wife, Princess Rasoanjanahary, daughter of Prince Andriamaheritsialaintany. She had issue, three sons and five daughters - see below.
- b) H.R.H. Prince (Printsy) Ratsimihovy [Rahovy] (s/o Queen Rambolamasoandro by another man), educ. privately at Mauritius. Raised to the title of Prince (Printsy) with the style of His Royal Highness by his half-brother, King Radama I. He d. shortly before his half-brother, King Radama I, in 1828.
6) Princess (Printsesy) Rabodomananimerina [Rabodomanana], of Anosimanjaka (d/o Rabezaka). m. Prince (Printsy) Rainimanetaka. She had issue, two sons and one daughter:
- a) Field Marhsal H.H. Prince (Printsy) Ramanetaka-Rivo. 11-Honours. Marshal of the Army under King Radama I, Governor of Bembatooka and Majunga 1824-1828. He escaped assassination in August 1828, and fled to the Comoro Islands, where he converted to Islam and became Sultan of Moheli as 'Abdu'l Rahman in 1832 - see Comores (Moheli).
- b) Field Marshal H.H. Prince (Printsy) Ramananolona. 12-Honours. Marshal of the Army under Kind Radama I, Governor of Fort-Dauphin 1825-1828. Instrumental in conquering the Tanosy. m. Ranoro (m. second, Ramanjaka, son of Andriantsolo). He was k. on the orders of Queen Ranavalona I, at Fort-Dauphin, 1828, having had issue, three sons:
  - i) Prince (Printsy) Andriamanantany.
  - ii) Prince (Printsy) Ralaiarivony.
  - iii) Prince (Printsy) Ramanambahoaka.
- a) Princess (Printsesy) Rasoamananoro. m. before 1787, King Imboasalama Andrianampoinimerina, King of Imerina (b. at Kaloy, 1740; d. at Antananarivo, 1810), third son of Andriamiaramanjaka, of Anjafy and Kaloy, by his wife, Princess Ranavalonandriambelomasina, daughter of King Rakotomavo Andriambelomasina, King of Avaradrano. She was k. in an explosion, at Mahazoarivo, September 1817 (on the same day as the great fire at Mauritius), having had issue, one daughter - see Madagascar (Imerina).

17xx- 1774 King Andriambelo, King of Imarovatana, son of Princess Rabodofilankanina, daughter of King Andriamananimerina I, King of Imarovatana. Proclaimed as King of Imarovatana with the reign name of Andriambelo. Attacked and defeated by King Andrianjafy of Imerina in 1774, who then annexed Imarovatana to his own realm. He was k. by King Andrianjafy, September 1774, having had issue, an only daughter:

i) Princess (Printsesy) Ranavalonizafimanjaka.
