H.R.H. Princess Abigail Helen Kapi'olani Kawananakoa,
Head of the Royal House of Hawaii. b. at Honolulu,
Oahu, 14th March 1903, eldest daughter of
H.R.H. Prince David La'amea Kahalepouli Kawananakoa, by
his wife, H.R.H. Princess Abigail Wahi'ika'ahu'ula,
eldest daughter of James Campbell, Esq. (see - Hawaii
(Kauai). Adopted by her maternal grandmother, Mrs
Abigail Kuaihelani Maipinepine Kalaikini Campbell Parker,
8th February 1908. Succeeded on the death of
her younger brother as Head of the Royal House of Hawaii,
20th May 1953. Regent of the Hale o na Alii
o Hawaii (House of Chiefs of Hawaii) 1945-1961, etc. m.
(first) 1922 (div.), Andrew Anderson Lambert (b.
at Honolulu, Oahu, 25th March 1900; d.
at Kailua, Honolulu, Oahu, 15th March 1966). m.

Honolulu, Oahu, 8th April 1961, having had

the Royal House of Hawaii. b. at San Francisco,
California, USA, 2nd October 1924, only son of
H.R.H. Princess Abigail Helen Kapi'olani Kawananakoa,
Head of the Royal House of Hawaii, by her first husband,
Andrew Anderson Lambert., educ. Punahou Coll.,
Honolulu, Oahu; Menlo Junior Sch., and Univ. of Southern
California. Cmsnd. 2nd-Lieut. US Army Air
Corps 1944, and served in WW2 1944-1945. Succeeded on the
death of his mother as Head of the Royal House of Hawaii,
8th April1 1961. Regent of Hale o na Alii
o Hawaii (House of Chiefs of Hawaii) 1961-1997,
Presdt. Prince Kuhio Civic Club, Vice-Presdt. of the

1927; d. in Pennsylvania, December 1991?), née
Carolyn Willison Branch . He d. at St Francis's
Hospice, Honolulu, Oahu, 29th July 1997 (bur.
Oahu Cemetery) having had issue, four sons and one

the Royal House of Hawaii. b. at Monterey,
California, 28th September 1961, third son of
H.R.H. Prince Edward Abner Keli'iahonui Kawananakoa II,
Head of the Royal House of Hawaii, by his second wife,
H.R.H. Princess Carolyn Kawananakoa, née Willison, educ.
Punahou Sch., Honolulu, Oahu; Univ. of Southern
California, and the William S. Richardson Sch. of Law,
Univ. of Hawaii (JD 1991). Attorney-at-Law in private
practice with Case & Lynch, then with Case, Bigelow
& Lombardi until 2000. MHR 26th District
of the Hawaii State Legislature 1994-1998. Succeeded on
the death of his father as Head of the Royal House of
Hawaii, after the renunciation of his elder brothers, 29th
July 1997. Regent of Hale o na Alii o
