2) The Hon 'Uiliami 'Ulakai Tupou. b. ca. 1796 (s/o Mata'ele). Named as successor to his elder brother, at Veilupesia, Uiha, 1820. Never formally installed. PC to King George Tupou I. m. (first) Ngako, daughter of Toto Siakumi. m. (second) Tupou-kolotulu Fuatalevu, daughter of H.H. Tupou Lahisi', 10thTu'iKonokupolo, by a junior wife. He d. at Vav'au, 1839, having had issue, two sons:

Ma'ata (b. 1844; d. 1st November 1918), elder daughter of George Alexander Blake, by his wife, Matelita Fusi. He d. on Ha'apai, 1918, having had issue, four sons and five daughters:
(1) Ikinesiasi Foukimoana Mae'aliuake. b. 25th July 1864. He d. 24th January 1917.

(c) Ane Lupe. b. 4th August 1905. m. 19th December 1921, Taufa Pulotu Tui'one, son of Sione Tui'one and Mele Loloahi both of Pangai, Ha'apai. She had issue, seven sons and six daughters.

(1) The Hon 'Anau Kihesina Ma'afu. b. 12th May 1900. m. The Hon Siosaia Lausi'i, 7thMa'afu-'o- Tukui'aulahi (d. 20th January 1937), son of The Hon Siotame Fakatulolo, 6thMa'afu-'o- Tukui'aulahi. She d. 14th May 1976, having had issue, one son and one daughter - see above.
