1645 - 1677  H.H. Ingkang Sinuhun Kangjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Amangku Rat I Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama [Sunan Seda Tegalwangi], Susuhanan of Mataram. b. 24th June 1619, as Radin Mas Sayid ud-din, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Apparent with the title of Pangeran Arya Mataram. Installed 1646. Moved his capital to Plered, 1647. Opposed Islamisation and therefore did not assume the title of Sultan. Entered into a treaty of co-operation with the VOC 24th September 1646, and a contract 28th February 1677. Forced to flee from his Kraton at Plered by the Madurese rebel, Trunajaya, June 1677. m. (first) Kanjeng Ratu Kulon I, a lady from Kajoran. m. (second) 1633, his first cousin, Kanjeng Ratu Pembayun/Kanjeng Ratu Kulon II/Kanjeng Ratu Ajeng (k. 40 days after giving birth to AK II), daughter of Pangeran Ratu Pekik, of Surabaya, by his wife, Ratu Pandan Sari, younger daughter of Panembahan Senapati ing Alaga Mas Jalang Saiyid ud-din Panatagama, Panembahan of Mataram. m. (third) Kanjeng Ratu Pamalang (d. 1667). m. (fourth) Kanjeng Ratu Amangku Rat. m. (fifth) Mas Pallaboan/Kanjeng Ratu Wetan, a lady from Passaroan. He d. near Tegal, June 1677 (bur. there), having had issue:

1677 - 1703 H.H. Sampeyan Dalam ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Amangku Rat II Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama Zain ul-Kubra, Susuhanan of Mataram. b. 1639/1642, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Apparent with the title of Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Anum Amangku Negara Sudibya Rajaputra Narendra ing Mataram, 12th July 1659. Raised to the throne with Dutch help, after the defeat of Trunajaya of Madura. Installed at Bagelen, June 1677. Forced to cede the pasisir ports to the VOC to redeem his debt associated with the war against Trunajaya, 19th October 1677. Moved his capital to Kartasura in 1680. m. (first) 1653, a daughter of the Panembahan of Cirebon. m. (second) 1657, a daughter of Mangkunjaya. m. (third) (div.) Ratu Wetan (m. second, Pangeran Chakra Adi-ning Rat II, Panembahan of Madura), a princess from Giri. He d. at Kartasura, 3rd November 1703 (bur. Imagiri), having had issue, twelve children, including:

1703 - 1708 H.H. Sampeyan Dalam ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Amangku Rat III Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama Muhammad Zain ul-Kubra [Sunan Mas], Susuhanan of Mataram. Succeeded on the death of his father, 3rd November 1703. Fled from his capital at Kartasura on the approach of Dutch troops but continued to rule in the eastern provinces. Induced to go onboard a Dutch vessel to be taken to Semarang, however, he was spirited away to Batavia and exiled to Ceylon 24th August 1708. m. (first) 9th July 1698, Radin Ayu Lemba (d. 1700), eldest daughter of H.H. Sampeyan Dalam ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Paku Buwana I Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama [Sunan Puger], Susuhanan of Mataram. m. (second) 1701, Radin Ayu Ipun, elder daughter of H.H. Sampeyan Dalam ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Paku Buwana I Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama [Sunan Puger], Susuhanan of Mataram. He d. in Ceylon, before 7th March 1734, having had issue, four sons:

1704 - 1719  H.H. Sampeyan Dalam ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhanan Ratu Prabhu Paku Buwana I Senapati ing Alaga Ngah 'Abdu'l-Rahman Saiyid ud-din Panatagama [Sunan Puger], Susuhanan of Mataram. b. ca. at Kraton Plered, Yogyakarta, 1648, as Radin Mas Drajat, educ. privately. Granted the title of Pangeran Puger. Installed by the Dutch at Semarang, 19th June 1704. Crowned at Kartasura, with the name of Paku Buwana September 1705. m. (first) Radin Ajeng Sendhi, a lady from Sendhang. m. (second) Mas Ajeng Tejavati, from Wotgaleh in Madura. m. (third) Ratu Mas Blitar/Ratu Paku Buwana (d. at Kartasura, 5th January 1732, bur. Panitikan), daughter of Pangeran Arya Blitar IV, Bupati of Madiun. m. (fourth) Ratnawati, a lady from Kadilangu. He d. at Kartasura, 22nd February 1719 (bur. Imagiri), having had issue, 22 children, including:
