1438 - 1489 Rao Shri Jodhaji Sahib, Rao of Jodhpur. b. at Mandore Palace, 28th March 1416, younger son of Rao Shri Rid Mal [Ranmalji] Sahib, Rao of Mandore, by his wife, Bhatiyani Rani Koramde Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, after the renunciation of his elder brother, Akhairaj, 1438. Driven from his capital by Chonda of Chittor, the murderer of his father. Reconquered Mandore in 1453, and formally installed on the gadi at Mandore Palace, 1458. Abandoned Mandore and founded a new capital at Jodhpur, beginning the construction of the famous Mehrangarh (the majestic fort) on 12th May 1459. m. (first) Hadoji Rani Jasmadeji Sahiba, née Koramde, Kunwar Shri Jitmal Devot, of Bundi. m. (second) Bhatiyani Rani Puramji Bai Sahiba, daughter of Rao Vairsal Cacavat, of Pungal and Vairsalpur. m. (third) Sankhli Rani Narangdeji Sahiba, daughter of Rano Shri Mando Jaitavat, of the Sankhlos, of Run, in Marwar. m. (fourth) Sonagari Rani Champa Bai Sahiba, daighter of Khimvo Satavat, of Pali, in eastern Marwar. m. Succeeded on the death of his father, 6th April 1489. Installed on the gadi at Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, 6th April 1489. m. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, March 1492. Installed on the gadi at Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, 1492. m. (first) Bhatiyani Rani Sarangdeji Sahiba, née Lakshmi Bai, daughter Kunwar Kalikaran Keharot, of Jaisalmer. m. (second) Chauhaniji Rani Sahiba, daughter of Rao Prithamrao Tejsiyot, Rao of Sacoro. m. (third) Mangliyani Rani Sarwandeji Sahiba, daughter of Rana Patu Hamirot Ranawat. m. (fourth) Sangkli Rani Sahoramji Sahiba, née Soharadeji, daughter of Gopal Mahirajot. He d. at Jodhpur, 2nd October 1515, having had issue, eleven sons, including:

1515  Rao Shri Biram Singh Sahib [Viramde], Rao of Jodhpur, third son of Rao Shri Bagha Sahib, Heir Apparent of Jodhpur, by his third wife, Deori Rani Rangade Sahiba, of Sirohi, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Presumptive on the death his father, 3rd September 1514. Succeeded on the death of his grandfather, 2nd October 1515. Deposed because his mother had insulted the senior Thakur of Bagri, 8th November 1515. Granted Sojhat as his fief together with the title of Rao, but later became deranged and took up arms against his half-brother. Expelled from Sojhat by Rao Gango, following the Battle of Sojhat, 9th April 1532. Granted the village of Khairvo for his maintenance, but was later driven from Marwar altogether. Thereafter, he took refuge with the Rana of Chittor, where he received Indravaro in fief.

1515 - 1532 Rao Shri Gangaji [Gango] Sahib, Rao of Jodhpur. b. 6th May 1484, second son of Rao Shri Bagha Sahib, by his second wife Kunwarani Udanbai Sahiba, educ. privately. Installed on the gadi at Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, 8th November 1515. He was the first of his line to be annointed with a tilak of blood by the Thakur of Bagri, thus beginning a tradition unbroken to this day. m. (first) Shri Sangli Rani Ganga Deiji Sahiba (d.s.p.). m. (second) Shri Sisodaniji Rani Uttam Deiji Sahiba (d.s.p. by jauhar, during the Mughal attack on Chittor Fort, 1568), née Maharajkumari Padmavati Bai Sahiba, daughter of Maharana Shri Sangram Singhji I Sahib [Sangaji], Maharana of Mewar. m. (third) Shri Derawalji Rani Manak Deiji Sahiba, née Rajkumari Padma Bai Sahiba, daughter of Rao Shri Jagmal Singhji I, Rao Sahib of Sirohi. m. (fourth) Shri Bhatianjiji Rani Phulam Bai Sahiba (d. by sati May 1532). m. (fifth) Shri Bhatianjiji Rani Lada Bai Sahiba. m.
