1843 - 1873 H.H. Raj Rajeshwar Saramad-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Takht Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur, GCSI (12.2.1866). b. at Ahmadnagar, 6th June 1819, younger son of H.H. 108 Shri Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Karansinhji Sagramsinhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Ahmadnagar. Regent of Ahmadnagar for his nephew from 6th December 1839 until his death 28th September 1841. Succeeded to the throne of Ahmadnagar, 28th September 1841. Invited to ascend the gadi of Jodhpur by the widows of Maharaja Shri Man Singhji Sahib, 14th October 1843. The adoption and his succession to Jodhpur were recognised by the British authorities, on condition that Ahmadnagar was reunited with the state of Idar. Made his formal entry into Jodhpur and ascended the gadi, at the Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, 29th October 1843. Provided valuable services during the Indian Mutiny of 1857. Received a sanad of adoption 13th  March 1862. m. thirty wives and twenty-one junior wives, including m. (first) H.H. Shri Bada Ranawatiji Maharani Gulab Kanwarji Maji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Ror Singhji [Mokhamsinghot], of Dhamodhar, in Partabgarh. m. (second) H.H. Shri Bada Bhatianiji Maharani Man Kanwarji Maji Sahiba, elder daughter of Thakur Shri Devi Singh [Naharsinghot], of Osian, in Jodhpur Marwar. m. (third) H.H. Shri Chavdiji Maharani Jatan Kanwarji Maji Sahiba, daughter of Thakore Shri Bhojraj Salamsinhji Chavda, of Mansa, in Gujarat. m. (fourth) H.H. Shri Ladi Bhatianiji Maharani Bakhtawar Kanwarji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Dalkaran Singh, of Bhikamkor, in Jodhpur Marwar. m. (fifth) H.H.
