Sri Pawara Vijaya Nanda Jatha Maha Dharma Rajadhiraja Alaung Min Thaya Gyi, King of Burma, by his first wife, H.M. Queen (Nammadaw Mibura Hkaung Gyi) Maha Mangala Ratna Adipati Sri Raja Manda Devi, educ. privately. Granted Myawaddy in fief, raised to the title of Sado Min Hla Shwe Daung 1754. Promoted to Sado Min Cho 1760. Granted Badon in fief and granted the title of Suriya Dharmaraja 1764. Proclaimed at Ava, on the deposition of his nephew, 11th February 1782. Transferred his capital to Amarapura, 1782. Crowned, 17th May 1783. Proclaimed at Amarapura with the title of Sri Pawara Tilaka Pandita Maha Dharmaraja, 23rd May 1783. Crowned for a second time (Muddha Bhiseka) taking the reign name of Sri Pawara Vijaya Nandayasatri Bhuwanaditya Adipati Pandita Maha Dharma Rajadhiraja, 3rd June 1784. Captured Mrok U, the capital of Arakan 2nd January 1785 (captured King Mahasamata, 20th January). Assumed the title of Hsinbyumyashin 25th February 1785. Crowned for the third time (Sakala Bhiseka) 9th May 1815.
