The Most High King Davit VI Narin (the clever), by the
will of our Lord, King of the Abkhazis, Kartvelians,
Ranians, Kakhetians and the Armenians, Shirvanshah and
Shahanshah and Master of all Georgia and the North. b.
1228, son of H.M. The Most High Queen Rusudan, by her
husband, H.H. The Most Brilliant Prince Meggithadin
[Mughis ud-din] Tugril Shah, educ. privately.
Crowned at Kutaisi, as joint sovereign by his mother,
1230. Sent to the Great Khan of the Mongols in 1243,
Believed by the Georgian nobles to have disappeared two
years later, they proclaimed Davit, son of Giorgi IV
Lasha, as King of Georgia. Recognised as junior joint
sovereign by the Great Khan of the Mongols in 1249.
Thereafter known as Davit Narin (the clever). Established
himself at Kutais in 1258, from whence he held separate
court as King of Imereti. The division of the kingdoms
being formalized in 1260 and the treasure of the
Bagratides, hitherto hidden in the Khomli caves of
Mingrelia, divided equally between the two cousin kings. m.
1254, a daughter of Ionnes Palealogos, Sebastocrator and
Despot. He d. at Kutais, 1293, having had issue,
four sons:

Kakhetians and the Armenians, Shirvanshah and Shahanshah
and Master of all the East and West, King of Imereti,
eldest son of H.M. The Most High King Davit VI Narin.
Succeeded on the death of his father, 1293. He d.s.p.
1327.

The Most High King Mikeli II, by the will of our Lord,
King of the Abkhazis, Kartvelians, Ranians, Kakhetians
and the Armenians, Shirvanshah and Shahanshah and Master
of all the East and West, King of Imereti, second son of
H.M. The Most High King Davit VI Narin. Seized Radsha and
Argveti from his brother. Succeeded him as King of
Imereti, 1327. He d. 1329, having had issue, a
son:

H.M. The Most High King Bagrat I Mtziré (the small), by
the will of our Lord, King of the Abkhazis, Kartvelians,
Ranians, Kakhetians and the Armenians, Shirvanshah and
Shahanshah and Master of all the East and West, King of
Imereti, only known son of H.M. The Most High King Mikeli
II. Succeeded as a minor on the death of his father,
1329. Deposed when King Giorgi V the Brilliant subjugated
Imereti in 1330. Appointed as Duke of Choropan. m.
1358, the elder daughter of His Splendour The Pious
Prince of High Rank Qvarqvare II Jageli, Atabegi
of Samtzkhé. He d. 1372, having had issue:

(the small), King of Imereti and Duke of Choropan.
Succeeded his father as Duke of Choropan, 1372.
Proclaimed his independence and Crowned as King of
Imereti at St George's Cathedral, Gelati, 1387. m.

Prince Pelgini Orbeliani. He d. 1389, having had
issue, one son and one daughter:

Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 1389. He was

third son of H.M. The Most High King Bagrat I Mtziré
(the small), King of Imereti and Duke of Choropan.
Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 1396. He was
k. in battle at Chalaghan, 1401.

Splendour The Pious Prince of High Rank Demetre, Duke of
Imereti, son of H.M. The Most High King Aleksandri I,
King of Imereti, by his wife, H.M. Queen Ana, daughter of
Prince Pelgini Orbeliani. Sometime Ambassador to Shahrukh
from his father. Appointed as Duke of Imereti by King
Aleksandri I in 1401. He d. before 1445 (succ.
by his son-in-law), having had issue, an only daughter
and heiress:
