[Tsarevitch Konstantin Davidovitch Imeretinski], Head of
the Royal House of Imereti. b. 1789, only son of
H.M. The Most High King Davit II, King of Imereti, by his
wife, H.M. The Most High Queen Ana, daughter of General
H.E. Prince Mamuka Jambakur-Orbeliani, educ. Corps
of Pages, St Petersburg. Arrested and imprisoned by King
Solomoni II at the age of ten. Entered the Russian
service as Capt. Cossacks of the Guard 1812, sometime ADC
to the Emperor, prom. Maj-Gen. 1817, cdr. 1st
bde. of 1st Cavalry Dvsn. (Hussars). Became
Head of the Royal House of Imereti, on the death of King
Solomoni II, 7th December 1815 o.s. Rcvd:

Russia, and the Order 'Pour le Merite' of Prussia (1813).
