Swasti Shri 1008 Badrish Charya Prayana Garh-Rajya Mahi Mahendra Dharam, Vaibhav Dharam Rakshah Shiromani Shri 108 Maharaja Sir Narendra Shah Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal, KCSI, by his second wife, H.H. Maharani Indumati Devi Sahiba, educ. Daly Coll, Indore, Mayo Coll, Ajmer, Rajputana, Government Coll, Lahore, Punjab, and the ICS Camp, Dehradun, UP. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Shri Shri Shri Shri Shri Tikka Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the abdication of his father, 27th May 1946. Merged his state with the United Provinces, 1st August 1949. 1949. Hon Lt-Col IA 25/1/1950, attached as Hon Officer The Garhwal Rifles, IA and Bengal Engineer Group, IE. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his position as a “ruler” and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28th December 1971. MP (Lok Sabha) for Tehri 1957-1971, and 1991-2007. Rai-i-Rayan Mahimahendra Maharajadhiraj Maharawal Shri Sir Prithvi Singhji Bahadur, Maharawal of Banswara, KCIEKCIE, by his fourth wife, H.H. Shri Jodhpurwala Maharani Shrimati Daulat Kunverba Sahiba, daughter of Colonel Maharaj Shri Bhupal Singhji Sahib Bahadur, of Kishore Bagh, under Jodhpur Marwar. He d. from kidney failure, at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, 5th January 2007, having had issue, one son and three daughters:
