1723 - 1756 Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Durjan Sal Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah, third son of Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Bhim Singhji Hada, Singharaja, Krishna Das, Brijendra Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Nandgaon, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, October 1723. Installed on the gadi at Kotah Fort, 18th November 1723. He successfully withstood a siege of sixty-one days against a combined force of Maratha and Kachhawas in 1745. Invaded Bundi in 1748 and restored Umed Singh Sriji Sahib, the son and heir of the deposed Maharao Budh Singh. m. three wives, including (second) at Kotah Fort, ca. 16th July 1734, Maharani Brij Kunwar Sahib, daughter of Maharana Shri Sangram Singh II, Maharana of Mewar. m. (third) a daughter of Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Maharana Shri Jagat Singh II Bahadur, Maharana of Mewar. He d. at the City Palace, Kotah Fort, 1st August 1756, having had issue, two sons (who d.v.p.). He adopted the son of Rao Shri Prithvi Singh, of Anta:
 
1756 - 1757 Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah. b. at Anta, before 1676, second son of Rao Shri Prithvi Singh, of Anta, educ. privately. Adopted by his paternal cousin, Maharao Raja Shri Durjan Sal, shortly before he expired, 1755. His brother and the Dowager Maharani Brij Kunwar contested his right to succeed, the latter reluctant to play the part of "mother" to an eighty year old. However, his accession to the gadi eventually took place with the help of Faujdar Himmat Singh Jhala, who thus laid the foundations for that family's control over state affairs during the next eight decades. He d. at the City Palace, Kotah Fort, March 1757, having had issue, three sons:
 
1757 - 1764 Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Shatru Sal I Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah. b. before 1718, eldest son of Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, March 1757. Installed on the gadi at Kotah Fort, 15th September 1758. He d.s.p.m. at the City Palace, Kotah Fort, 17th December 1764.
 
1764 - 1771 Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Shri Shri Shri Shri Guman Singh Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah. b. before 1724, youngest son of Maharajadhiraj Maharaja Mahimahendra Maharao Raja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Kotah, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 17th December 1764. Installed on the gadi, at Kotah Fort, 28th December 1764. m. (first) Ranawatiji Maharani Sahiba (d. after 1768). m. (second) Jhaliji Maharani Ganga Bai Sahiba, sister of Raj Rana Zalim Singh Bahadur, sometime Diwan of Kotah. He d. at the City Palace, Kotah Fort, 17th January 1771, having had issue, three sons:
