1829 - 1857  H.H. Rustam-i-Dauran, Aristu-i-Zaman, Asaf Jah IV, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Farkhunda 'Ali Khan Bahadur [Gufran Manzil], Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Ayn waffadar Fidvi-i-Senliena, Iqtidar-i-Kishwarsitan Muhammad Akbar Shah Padshah-i-Ghazi, Nizam of Hyderabad. b. at the Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, 25th April 1794, eldest son of H.H. Asaf Jah III, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Mir Akbar 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Fulad Jang, Nizam of Hyderabad, by his second wife, Fazilat un-nisa Begum Sahiba [Chandli Begum], daughter of a slave. Illiterate to the end of his days. Granted the title of Nasir ud-Daula by his father. Succeeded on the death of his father, 21st May 1829. Ascended the musnad, at the Durbar Hall, Chow Mahala, Hyderabad, 24th May 1829. m. several wives including (a) H.H. Nawab Dilawar un-nisa Begum Sahiba, CI (1.1.1878) (d. after 1884), daughter of an officer at court. (b) a daughter of a Furrash. He d. at the Manjli Begum Haveli, Hyderabad, 16th May 1857 (bur. there at the Mecca Masjid), having had issue, five sons:
  • 1) Asaf Jah V, Nizam ul-Mulk, Afzal ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Tahniyat 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Nizam of Hyderabad (s/o Dilawar un-nisa) - see below.
  • 2) Roshan ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Jahangir 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Jahangir Jang. b. 6th April 1828 (s/o b), educ. privately. He d. at Hyderabad, 27th July 1870, having had issue, one daughter:
    • a) Sahibzadi Rahat un-nisa Begum Sahiba. m. Haidar ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Khushru 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Haidar Jang, eldest son of Haidar ul-Mulk, Rafi ud-Daula, Nawab Syed Sa'adu'llah Khan Bahadur, Faridun Jang, sometime Private Tutor to the Heir Apparent, by his wife, Sahibzadi Husaini Begum Sahiba, daughter of Samsam ul-Mulk, Sunisamad ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Bashir ud-din 'Ali Khan Bahdur, Samsan Jang. She had issue:
      • i) Nawab Mir Jahangir 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Jahangir Jang. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar silver medal (1911). He d. at Hyderabad, before 9th November 1915, having had issue:
        • (1) Colonel Nawab Mir Qudrat ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Qudrat Nawaz Jang. b. at Hyderabad, 22nd April 1896. Dep cdr of the Nizam’s Irregular Forces 1919, Assist Nazim Sharf-i-Khas Dept 1919-1922, Dep Cmsnr of Customs 1922-1927, cdr of the Nizam’s Irregular Forces 1927. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar silver medal (1911), Nizam’s Silver Jubilee (mil. 1937), Tunis Victory (1942), and Hyderabad War (1945) medals. He had issue, five sons and a daughter:
          • (a) Nawab Mir Zahoor Ali Khan Bahadur, Zahoor Nawaz Jung [Zamarud Pasha]. b. at Hyderabad, 1915, as Tahuru’llah Khan, educ. Jagirdars’ Coll, Hyderabad. MLA. m. at Hyderabad, 18th March 1957, Sahibzadi Nazeer un-nisa Begum Sahiba [Nazeer Pasha] (b. at King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, 21st October 1916; d. 10th October 1975), daughter of General His Exalted Highness Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VII, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Osman ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Faithful Ally of the British Government, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, GCSI, GBE, Royal Victorian Chain, by his fourth wife, Amira Begum Sahiba. He d. 196x, having had issue, an only son:
            • (i) Nawab Mir Qudrat Ali Khan [Dastagir Pasha]. b. 1958, educ. Hyderabad Public Sch, Begumpet. Caretaker Asafia Trust. m. at Eden Gardens, Hyderabad, Sahibzadi Rafat un-nisa Begum Sahiba (b. 1959), daughter of Nawab Muhammad Mujib ud-din Khan Bahadur, Mujib Yar Jang, by his first wife, Sahibzadi Ramzani Begum Sahiba, daughter of General His Exalted Highness Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VII, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Osman ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Faithful Ally of the British Government, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, GCSI, GBE, Royal Victorian Chain. He has issue, five daughters:
              • 1. Sahibzadi Afzal un-nisa Begum Sahiba. b. 1976.
              • 2. Sahibzadi Tahir un-nisa Begum Sahiba. b. 1977.
              • 3. Sahibzadi Noor un-nisa Begum Sahiba. b. 1978.
              • 4. Sahibzadi Naj un-nisa Begum Sahiba. b. 1983.
              • 5. Sahibzadi Ameer un-nisa Begum Sahiba. b. 1988.
          • (b) Sahibzada Mir Jahangir ‘Ali Khan. m. at Hyderabad, 25th February 1960, Sahibzadi Jamal un-nisa Begum Sahiba (b. at King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, 15th November 1913), daughter of General His Exalted Highness Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VII, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Osman ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Faithful Ally of the British Government, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, GCSI, GBE, Royal Victorian Chain, by Sultan Bi.
          • (c) Sahibzada Mir Ahmad ‘Ali Khan.
          • (d) Sahibzada Mir Azam ‘Ali Khan. m. at Hyderabad, 1st April 1960, Sahibzadi Kabir un-nisa Begum Sahiba (b. at King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, 15th January 1920), daughter of General His Exalted Highness Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VII, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Osman ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Faithful Ally of the British Government, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, GCSI, GBE, Royal Victorian Chain, by Allah Rakhi Bi. He had issue:
            • (i) Sahibzada Mir Muazzam ‘Ali Khan [Nawab Mir Muazzam Ali Khan]. b. at Hyderabad, 1964. He d. there, 1st January 2011.
            • (ii) Sahibzada Mir Mahmud ‘Ali Khan [Nawab Mir Mahmood Ali Khan]. b. at Hyderabad, 26th December 1969. State Sec Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). m. at Hyderabad, 20th August 1994, Sahibzadi Salma Fatima Begum Sahiba (b. at Hyderabad, 29th March 1975), youngest daughter of Bhojat Jah, Nawab Mir Bhojat ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, by his wife, Sahibzadi Mehr un-nisa Begum Sahiba, daughter of Nawab Muhammad Hassan ‘Ali Khan Bahadur. He has issue, three sons:
              • 1. Sahibzada Mir Ahmad Ali Khan. b. at Hyderabad, 8th June 1995.
              • 2. Sahibzada Mir Wahajat Ali Khan. b. at Hyderabad, 25th February 1998
              • 3. Sahibzada Mir Amir Ali Khan. b. at Hyderabad, 4th June 1999.
          • (e) Sahibzada Mir Karamat ‘Ali Khan. b. 1935. m. Fakhara Taj Begum Sahiba (b. 1952). He had issue, two sons:
            • (i) Sahibzada Mir Fasahath ‘Ali Khan. b. 1974.
            • (ii) Sahibzada Mir Kudrat ‘Ali Khan. b. 1979.
          • (a) Sahibzadi Kaiser Begum Sahiba. m. at Hyderabad, 1937, Sahibzada Muhammad Mazhar Husain, a nephew of Nawab Mohammed Nawaz Jung. She had issue.
        • (1) Sahibzadi Azim un-nisa Begum Sahiba [H.H. Nawab Dulhan Pasha Begum Sahiba]. b. 1889. m. at King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, 19th April 1906, as his first wife, General His Exalted Highness Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VII, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Osman ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Faithful Ally of the British Government, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar, GCSI, GBE, Royal Victorian Chain (b. at the Madr-i-Deccan Mahal, Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, 6th April 1886; d. at Nazri Bagh, King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, 24th January 1967, bur. there at Judi Masjid), second son of Lieutenant-General Lieutenant-General H.H. Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VI, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Mahbub ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Nizam of Hyderabad, GCB, GCSI, by his first wife, H.H. Amat uz-Zahra un-nisa Begum Sahiba, grand daughter of H.E. Mukhtar ul-Mulk, Shuja ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Sir Tawab ‘Ali Khan, Salar Jang Bahadur, GCSI, sometime Chief Minister of Hyderabad. She d. at King Kothi Palace, Hyderabad, before 28th February 1955, having had issue, two sons - see below.
  • 3) Samsan ul-Mulk, Suni Samad ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Bashir ud-din 'Ali Khan. b. at the Khilwat-i-Mubaraq Palace, Chow-Mahalla, Hyderabad, 28th March 1830. He had issue:
    • a) Nawab Bakarar Jang Bahadur. m. and and had issue.
  • 4) A son b. at the Khilwat-i-Mubaraq Palace, Chow-Mahalla, Hyderabad, 7th August 1830.
  • 5) Zulfiqar ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Zulfiqar 'Ali Khan Bahadur. b. at the Chow Mahala, Hyderabad, 14th July 1851, educ. privately).
