1884 - 1892 Meherban Nawab ‘Abdu’l Tabriz Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur. b. at Dharwar, 9^th April 1865, eldest surviving son of Sardar ‘Abdu’l Kasim Khan Sahib, educ. Dharwar High Sch, and Rajaram Coll, Kolhapur. Succeeded on the death of his uncle, 11^th August 1884. The succession being sanctioned by the Government of India 28^th October 1885, he was formally installed on the musnaid, at Dharwar, 4^th November 1885. Reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, 1^st May 1887. m. Meherban Nawab Waziri Bibi Sahiba (d. of a broken heart at Dharwar, 26^th July 1892, bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), daughter of his paternal uncle, Sardar ‘Abdu’l Majid Khan Sahib, by his wife, a daughter of Daud Muhammad Khan Sahib Pathan, sometime guardian to his grandson. He d. at Dharwar, 26^th July 1892 (bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), having had issue, one son and three daughters:

1) Nawabzadi Mahbub Begum Sahiba. b. at Savanur, 1887. m. at Dharwar, before 1910, …She d. 1932.
2) Nawabzadi Chandani Begum Sahiba. b. at Savanur, 1889, educ. privately. m. at Dharwar, 1909, Sardar Akbar ‘Ali Khan. She d. at Savanur, 17^th February 1925.
3) Nawabzadi Khani Begum Sahiba. b. at Savanur, 27^th February 1892, educ. privately. m. at Dharwad, 4^th July 1913, Sardar Hyder ‘Ali Khan, from Nipani, in Karnataka. She d. 1941, having had issue.

1892 - 1954 Major Meherban Nawab ‘Abdu’l Majid Khan I Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur, CBE (c 2.6.1943). b. at Dharwar, 7^th October 1890, only son of Meherban Nawab 'Abdu'l Tabriz Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur, by his wife, Meherban Nawab Waziri Bibi Sahiba, educ. Rajkumar Coll, Rajkot, Mayo Coll, Ajmer and with the Imperial Cadet Corps, Dehra Dun. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his father, 26^th July 1892. Reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age. Invested with full ruling powers, 12^th November 1912. Cmsnd as Hon Officer 29^th Lancers (Deccan Horse), IA 22/6/1911, prom Hon Lieut ILF 22/6/1912, served in the Great War in Persia and Iraq 1914-1915 (rcvd: MID), ADC to the Governor of Bombay 13/8/1912-1928, Adjutant Governor of Bombay’s Bodyguard 24/7/1917-1918, prom Hon Capt 1/1/1918, served in Third Afghan War 1919, prom Hon Maj 26/9/1931. Signed the Instrument of Accession to the Dominion of India, 15^th August 1947. Merged his state into the Deccan States Union 20^th December 1947, and into the Bombay Presidency 8^th March 1948. Left Savanur after the transfer of power and never returned during his lifetime. A model ruler who concentrated on improving the finances of his little state, building schools and vastly expanding educational opportunities for his people. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar (1903 & 1911), 1915 Star, British War, and Allied Victory medals (1918), IGS (with Afghanistan clasp 1919), Silver Jubilee (1935), Coron (1937), and Indian Independence (1948) medals. m. at Bangalore, September 1912, Meherban Nawab Khaliq un-nisa Begum Sahiba [Khalique], educ. in the UK, eldest daughter of Brigadier Mumtaz Yar ud-Daula, Nawab Mumtaz ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mumtaz Yar Jang, sometime cdt HEH’s Sharf-i-Khas Troops, by his wife, Sahibzadi Sadr ud-nisa Begum Sahiba [Bijani Begum], eldest daughter of Major-General Al-Haj Afshar ul-Mulk, Afshar ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad ‘Ali Beg Bahadur, Afshar Jang, Sardar Bahadur, KCIE, MVO, OBI, sometime cdt Hyderabad State Forces. He d. at Dharwar, 31^st May 1954 (bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), having had issue, four sons and three daughters:

1) Nawabzada ‘Abdu’l Said Khan Sahib. b. and d. at Dharwar, 4^th November 1913.
2) Nawabzada ‘Abdu’l Hamid Khan Sahib [Maqbul Mian], Wali Ahad Sahib. b. at Dharwar, 6^th March 1919, educ. privately. He d. from tonsillitis, 17^th July 1926.

4) Nawabzada ‘Abdu’l Wahid Khan Sahib. b. 16^th September 1932, educ. European Boy’s Sch, Panchgani. Mbr Bangalore Club. m. Manzar Sultan Begum (b. at Mysore, 21^st December 1939; d. at Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California, USA, 12^th February 2007), née Adrienne Philomena Poole, daughter of Trafford Poole, by his wife, Mrs Doris Mable Poole, daughter of Arthur Cotter, of Shimoga, Mysore. He d. at Bell Gardens, Los Angeles, California, USA, 12^th March 1986 (bur. there at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier), having had issue, two sons and one daughter:

2) Nawabzadi Sartaj Jahan Begum Sahiba [Haseen Pasha]. b. at Majid Castle, Savanur, 14^th August 1923, educ. privately. m. at Bombay, May 1945, Group Captain Sahibzada Sidi Muhammad Imtiaz Khan Bahadur, PAF (b. at Hyderabad, 31^st September 1920; d. 27^th May 2012), second son of Colonel Al-Haj Nawabzada Sidi Muhammad Ahmad Khan Bahadur, of Sachin, late Hyderabad State Forces, by his wife, Sahibzadi Laeeq un-nisa Begum Sahiba, second daughter of Brigadier Mumtaz Yar ud-Daula, Nawab Mumtaz ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mumtaz Yar Jang, sometime cdt HEH’s Sharf-i-Khas Troops, by his wife, Sahibzadi Badar ud-nisa Begum Sahiba, eldest daughter of Major-General Al-Haj Afshar ul-Mulk, Afshar ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad ‘Ali Beg Bahadur, Afshar Jang, Sardar Bahadur, KCIE, MVO, OBI, sometime cdt Hyderabad State Forces. 1954 - [1993] Meherban Nawab ‘Abdu’l Rashid Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur. b. at Majid Castle, Savanur, 11^th March 1929, third and eldest surviving son of Major Meherban Nawab ‘Abdu’l Majid Khan I Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur, CBE, by his wife, Meherban Nawab Khalik un-nisa Begum Sahiba, educ. St Mary's Sch, Poona, and European Boy's Sch, Panchgani. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his father, 31^st May 1954. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his position as a "ruler" and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28^th December 1971. Mbr Bangalore Club. m. at Hyderabad, Deccan, 25^th July 1955, Meherban Nawab Safinaz Jahan Begum Sahiba [The Dowager Begum of Savanur] (b. at Hyderabad, Deccan, 3^rd August 1940), daughter of Brigadier Afsar 'Ali Baig, of the Nizam's Regular Forces. He d. at Bangalore, Karnataka, 5^th February 1993, having had issue, one son and two daughters:
