1827 - 1828 Meherban Nawab Faiz Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Savanur, eldest son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Dilawar Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. at the Peshwa's Court, Poona. Succeeded on the death of his father, 2^nd November 1827. Installed on the musnaid at Savanur, 5^th November 1827. m. at Savanur, 1825, a daughter of Mir Rukn ud-din Husain Khan Bahadur, a mansabdar. He d.s.p. at Savanur, 12^th January 1828 (succ. by his younger brother) (bur. Khadarbag).

1828 - 1834 Meherban Nawab Munawwar Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Savanur. b. at Savanur, 1805, third son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Dilawar Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. privately. Recognised as successor to his brother by the Governor of Bombay, 8^th May 1828. Installed on the musnaid at Savanur, 17^th May 1828. Received a sanad from the Governor of Bombay, granting him full judicial powers over civil and judicial matters, 20^th June 1832. m. (first) at Savanur, 1823, a daughter of Husain Mian Khanzada. m. (second) Chima Bibi Sahiba (d. after 1869). He d. at Savanur, 17^th August 1834 (bur. Khadarbag), having had issue, an only daughter:

1) Nawabzadi Shah Jahan Begum Sahiba. b. posthumously, at Savanur, 16^th December 1834. She d. after 1869.

1834 - 1862 Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur. b. at Savanur, 1807, fifth son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Dilawar Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. privately. Contested the succession with his brother, but was removed from the state and lived in Poona 1828-1834. Recognised as successor to his elder brother, 16^th December 1834 (with effect from 17^th August). Installed on the musnaid at Savanur, 26^th December 1834. MLC Bombay 1862. A poet and author of "Siraj ul-Intazam". m. at Savanur, 1824, Khas Mahal Bibi Sahiba, a daughter of Syed Ahmad walad Syed Mahmud Shah Kumdan. He d. at Savanur, August 1862 (bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), having had issue, seven sons and five daughters, including:

1) Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Khair Jang, Nawab of Savanur - see below.
2) Sardar 'Abdu'l Qasim Khan Sahib. b. at Poona, ca. 30^th December 1833. Diwan 1862-1868, City Magistrate and Treasury Officer 1872-1877. m. at Savanur, ca. 1845, his cousin, a daughter of Sahibzada Hassan Mian Khanzada, of Basavanakoppa. He d. March 1877, having had issue, six sons:
- a) Sahibzada 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Sahib. He d. before 1884.
- b) Meherban Nawab 'Abdu'l Tabriz Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur- see below.
- c) Sardar 'Abdu'l Karim Khan Sahib. b. 1867, educ. Rajaram Coll., Kolhapur and Deccan Coll., Poona. 2^nd Class Sardar of the Deccan. m. 1893, …Begum Sahiba. He had issue one son:
  - i) Sahibzada 'Abdu'l Rahim Khan Sahib. b. 8^th December 1894, educ. . Rajkumar Coll., Rajkot.
- d) Sahibzada Nayam Khan Sahib [Namwar Khan]. b. 1872, educ. Dharwad High Sch. m. 1894, …Begum Sahiba. He had issue, one son:
  - i) Sahibzada 'Abdu'l Tabriz Khan Sahib.
- e) Sahibzada Akbar Khan Sahib. b. 1875, educ. Dharwar High Sch.
- f) Sahibzada Munawwar Khan Sahib. b. at Dharwar, October 1877, educ. Dharwar High Sch.
3) Sardar Muzaffar Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, ca. 7^th November 1835.

- a) Meherban Nawab Waziri Bibi Sahiba. m. Meherban Nawab 'Abdu'l Tabriz Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur (b. at Dharwar, 9^th April 1865; d. at Dharwar, 26^th July 1892, bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), eldest surviving son of her paternal uncle, Sardar 'Abdu'l Kasim Khan Sahib. She d. of a broken heart at Dharwar, 26^th July 1892 (bur. Khadarbag, Savanur), having had issue, one son and three daughters - see below.
5) Sardar 'Abdu'l Hakim Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, ca. 27^th December 1838. m. at Savanur, 1848, a daughter of Mahmud Daulat Khan Sahib Khanzada.
6) Nawab 'Abdu'l Karim Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, ca. 5^th July 1841. City Magistrate and Treasury Officer 1877. m. at Savanur, 1848, Rahim un-nisa Begum Sahiba, daughter of Hayat Khan Sahib. He had issue:
- a) Sardar 'Abdu'l Jabir Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, 1865, educ. . Rajaram Coll., Kolhapur and Dharwar High Sch. Head Constable Savanur District Police, Hon. State Secretary 1913-1914. m. Sahibzadi …Begum Sahiba, second daughter of his paternal uncle, Sardar 'Abdu'l Rauf Khan Sahib.
- b) Sardar 'Abdu'l Majid Khan Sahib. Presdt. Dharwar Municipality.
- c) Sardar 'Abdu'l Hayat Khan Sahib.
7) Sardar 'Abdu'l Rauf Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, ca. 19^th April 1845. 1^st class Magistrate 1877-1881. m. Amir Bibi Sahiba. He d. from consumption, at Savanur, 27^th January 1881, having had issue, one son and two daughters:
- a) Sardar 'Abdu'l Dalel (or Abu'd-Diler) Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, 1875. Alleged to have been appointed as heir apparent by his brother-in-law, Nawab 'Abdu'l Diler Khan II in 1884. He d. at Savanur, 17^th February 1907. Copyright© Christopher Buyers
- a) Sahibzadi Waziri Bibi [Meherban Nawab Jawaz Begum Sahiba]. b. ca 1869, educ. privately. m. at Savanur, 10^th February 1882, Meherban Nawab Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang [Chota Diler Khan], Nawab of Savanur (b. at Savanur, 8^th September 1862; d. there, 11^th August 1884), only son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur, by his wife, Lucheema Bibi Sahib, daughter of Dewan Sahib Muhammad Ghaus Khan. She d. 19^th October 1884, having had issue, one son and one daughter - see below.
- b) The second daughter. m. Sardar 'Abdu'l Jabir Khan Sahib (b. 1865), eldest son of her paternal uncle, Nawab 'Abdu'l Karim Khan Sahib, by his wife Rahim un-nisa Begum Sahiba. She had issue - see above.
1) Nawabzadi Murad Bibi Sahiba. She d. unm. 1880/1881 AH.

1862 - 1868 Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Khair Jang, Nawab of Savanur. b. at Poona, ca. 18^th July 1836, son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. privately. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his father, August 1862. m. at Savanur, 1841, Lucheema Bibi Sahib (d. after 1869), daughter of Diwan Sahib Muhammad Ghaus Khan, sometime Chief Minister of Savanur. He d. from tuberculosis, at Savanur, 11^th May 1868, having had issue, one son and two daughters:

1) Meherban Nawab Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang [Chota Diler Khan], Nawab of Savanur - see below.
1) …Begum Sahiba.
2) H.H. Nawab Ahmad Begum Sahiba (second daughter). m. at Savanur, 10^th February 1882, H.H. Nawab Sidi Sir Ahmad Khan Sidi Ibrahim Khan, Nawab of Janjira, GCIE (b. at Janjira, 31^st August 1862; d. at Murud, 2^nd May 1922), youngest son of H.E. Nawab Sidi Ibrahim Khan III Sidi Muhammad Yakut Khan, Nawab of Janjira, by his first wife, H.H. Nawab Sharfu Begum Sahiba, daughter of a Sidi Husain Sidi 'Abdu'llah Jabarti. She d.s.p. at Janjira, 1885 - see India (Janjira).

1868 - 1884 Meherban Nawab Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang [Chota Diler Khan], Nawab of Savanur. b. at Savanur, 8^th September 1862, only son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Khair Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. Dharwar High Sch, Rajkumar Coll., Rajkot and Rajaram Coll., Kolhapur. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his father, 11^th May 1868. Installed on the musnaid at Savanur, 10^th February 1869. Reigned under a Council of Management headed by Diwan Sahib Muhammad Ghaus Khan, until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, 12^th June 1883. m. 10^th February 1882, Meherban Nawab Jawaz Begum Sahiba (b. ca 1869; d. 19^th October 1884), née Sahibzadi Waziri Bibi, eldest daughter of his uncle, Sardar 'Abdu'l Rauf Khan Sahib, by his wife, Amir Bibi Sahiba. He d. at Savanur, 11^th August 1884 (succ. by his nephew), having had issue, one son and one daughter:

1) Nawabzada 'Abdu'l Hakim Khan Sahib. b. at Savanur, 7^th November 1882, but d. there, 10^th March 1883.
1) Nawabzadi Shah Jahan Begum Sahiba. b. at Savanur, 21^st May 1884, educ. privately.
