Meherban Nawab Faiz Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Savanur,
eldest son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur,
Dilawar Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. at the
Peshwa's Court, Poona. Succeeded on the death of his
father, 2nd November 1827. Installed on the musnaid
at Savanur, 5th November 1827. m.
at Savanur, 1825, a daughter of Mir Rukn ud-din Husain
Khan Bahadur, a mansabdar. He d.s.p.
at Savanur, 12th January 1828 (succ. by
his younger brother) (bur. Khadarbag).
1828 - 1834
Meherban Nawab Munawwar Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Savanur. b.
at Savanur, 1805, third son of Meherban Nawab
'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Dilawar Jang, Nawab of
Savanur, educ. privately. Recognised as successor
to his brother by the Governor of Bombay, 8th
May 1828. Installed on the musnaid at Savanur, 17th
May 1828. Received a sanad from the Governor of
Bombay, granting him full judicial powers over civil and
judicial matters, 20th June 1832. m.
(first) at Savanur, 1823, a daughter of Husain Mian
Khanzada. m. (second) Chima Bibi Sahiba (d.
after 1869). He d. at Savanur, 17th
August 1834 (bur. Khadarbag), having had issue, an
only daughter:

Nawabzadi Shah Jahan Begum Sahiba. b.
posthumously, at Savanur, 16th
December 1834. She d. after 1869.
1834 - 1862
Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l Diler Khan Bahadur, Diler Jang,
Nawab of Savanur. b. at Savanur, 1807, fifth son
of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair Khan Bahadur, Dilawar
Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ. privately. Contested
the succession with his brother, but was removed from the
state and lived in Poona 1828-1834. Recognised as
successor to his elder brother, 16th December
1834 (with effect from 17th August). Installed
on the musnaid at Savanur, 26th
December 1834. MLC Bombay 1862. A poet and author of
"Siraj ul-Intazam". m. at
Savanur, 1824, Khas Mahal Bibi Sahiba, a daughter of Syed
Ahmad walad Syed Mahmud Shah Kumdan. He d.
at Savanur, August 1862 (bur. Khadarbag, Savanur),
having had issue, seven sons and five daughters,
including:

Khanzada, of Basavanakoppa. He d. March

privately. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali
Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his
father, August 1862. m. at Savanur, 1841, Lucheema
Bibi Sahib (d. after 1869), daughter of Diwan
Sahib Muhammad Ghaus Khan, sometime Chief Minister of
Savanur. He d. from tuberculosis, at Savanur, 11th
May 1868, having had issue, one son and two daughters:

Diler Khan], Nawab of Savanur. b. at Savanur, 8th
September 1862, only son of Meherban Nawab 'Abu'l-Khair
Khan Bahadur, Khair Jang, Nawab of Savanur, educ.
Dharwar High Sch, Rajkumar Coll., Rajkot and Rajaram
Coll., Kolhapur. Became Heir Apparent with the title of Wali
Ahad Sahib at birth. Succeeded on the death of his
father, 11th May 1868. Installed on the musnaid
at Savanur, 10th February 1869. Reigned
under a Council of Management headed by Diwan Sahib
Muhammad Ghaus Khan, until he came of age and was
invested with full ruling powers, 12th June
1883. m. 10th February 1882, Meherban
Nawab Jawaz Begum Sahiba (b. ca 1869; d. 19th
October 1884), née Sahibzadi Waziri Bibi, eldest
daughter of his uncle, Sardar 'Abdu'l Rauf Khan Sahib, by
his wife, Amir Bibi Sahiba. He d. at Savanur, 11th
August 1884 (succ. by his nephew), having had
issue, one son and one daughter:
