GENEALOGY
1815 - 1850 Shri Raja Fateh Prakash Bahadur, Raja of Sirmur. b. at Subathu, 1809, second and eldest surviving son of Shri Raja Karan Prakash II Bahadur, Raja of Sirmur, by his second wife, Shri Guleri Rani Deviji Sahiba, educ. privately. Received a sanad from the Governor-General conferring the state on him, in preference to his father, dated 21st September 1815. Ascended the gadi by virtue of the Treaty signed by the HEIC and Nepal, 2nd December 1815. Reigned under the Regency of his mother, the Guleri Rani Sahiba and Wazir Azizullah Khan. He came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, at Simla, 1827. He sent contingents of the state forces to accompany the expedition to Kabul in 1833, and the Second Anglo-Sikh War of 1845. m. (first) Shri Keonthali Rani Deviji Sahiba. m. (second) Shri Kahluri Rani Deviji Sahiba (d.s.p. at the Moti Mahal, Nahan). m. (third) The Senior Bilaspuri Rani Deviji Sahiba. m. (fourth) Shri Baghati Rani Deviji Sahiba. m. (fifth) The Junior Bilaspuri Rani Deviji Sahiba. m. (sixth) Shri Kuthari Rani Deviji Sahiba. m. (seventh) Shri Kumharsain Rani Deviji Sahiba. He d. at Nahan, June 1850, having had issue, four sons and one daughter:
