1736 - 1757 Raja Shreeman Jai Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana. b. at Ratlam, 1698, second son of Raja Shrimant Keshri Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Ratlam, by a Bundi princess, educ. privately. He joined his elder brother in an insurrection against their uncle Raja Pratap Singhji, killed him, and divided the territories between them in late 1716. Enlarged his holdings and made himself independent in 1730. Established his capital and founded the new town of Sailana in 1736, from which the state takes its name. m. a daughter of Maharajadhiraj Maharawat Shri Prithvi Singhji Bahadur, Maharawat of Partabgarh. He d. at Sailana, 1757, having had issue, four sons and two daughters:
1) Shreeman Yuvraj Sahib Maharajkumar Devi Singhji Sahib, educ. privately. m. a daughter of Shri Raja Umaid Singhji, Raja of Shahpura. He was k. (v.p. and s.p.).
2) Shreeman Maharaj Daulat Singhji Sahib, of Semlia, educ. privately. Excluded from the succession because of a feeble mind. Revolted against the succession of his brother, Ajab Singhji, but was defeated with the help of the rulers of Sitamau and Rutlam. He d. 1757, having had issue:
a) Shreeman Maharaj Bhakhtawar Singhji Sahib, of Semlia. He had issue:
i) Shreeman Maharaj Shiv Singhji Sahib, of Semlia. He d. 1821, having had issue:

(i) Shreeman Maharaj Bhawani Singhji Sahib, of Semla. m. Shrimati Raniji Chatar Kunwarji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Bhairon Singhji, of Jajli, in Partabgarh state. He d. 1876, having had issue, two sons and two daughters:
1. Shreeman Maharaj Jaswant Singhji Sahib, of Semlia, who succeeded as H.H. Raja Shreeman Sir Jaswant Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana - see below.
2. Shreeman Maharaj Chattar Singhji Sahib, of Semlia. b. 1867, educ. Daly Coll., Indore. Succeeded his brother as jagirdar of Semlia, 1888. He made several attempts at securing recognition as an independent ruler from the British authorities, who refused all such requests. He had issue, two sons and three daughters:
a. Shreeman Maharaj Raghuraj Singhji Sahib, of Semlia. b. 1892, educ. Daly Coll., Indore.
b. Shreeman Maharaj Vishwanath Singhji Sahib, of Semlia. b. 29th January 1899, educ. Mayo Coll., Ajmer, Aligarh Muslim Univ. (BA 1923), and Allahabad Univ. (MA 1926, LLB 1926). Private Sec. to the ruler of Khilchipur 1927-1929, Dewan and Administrator of Jobat 1931-1937, Revenue Officer Sohawal state 1938-1940, Dewan of Rajkot state 1940-1942. He had issue, three sons:
i. Kumar Shri Narendra Singhji, educ. Rajkumar Coll., Rajkot.
iii. Colonel Vikram Singhji Rathore. He had issue:
1a. A daughter. m. … Singh Rawat, son of Thakur Durga Singh Rawat, by his wife, Thakurani Tulsi Devi, daughter of Rai Bahadur Kishen Singh Milamwal, the famous Pandit and Tibetan explorer. She had issue.
a. Bapu Sahiba Jayraj Kunwarji [Shemliavala Thakurani Jayraj Kunverba Sahiba]. m. as his first wife, Thakore Shri Sir Lakhajiraj III Bawajiraj Sahib, Thakore Sahib of Rajkot, KCIE (b. at the Ranjit Villas Palace, Rajkot, 17th December 1885), eldest son of H.H. Thakore Shri Bawajiraj Mehrmansinhji Sahib, Thakore Sahib of Rajkot. She d. at the Ranjit Villas Palace, Rajkot, November 1918, having had issue, two sons - see India (Rajkot).
b. Bapu Sahiba Surendra Kunwarji [H.H. Rani Surendra Kanwar Sahiba, Rani of Maihar]. m. 1920, as his second wife, H.H. Maharaja Shri Sir Brijnath Singh Ju Deo Bahadur, Raja of Maihar, KCIE (b. 22nd February 1896; d. 1968), eldest son of Raja Shri Randhir Singh Ju Deo, Raja of Maihar. She had issue, one son - see India (Maihar).
c. Bapu Sahiba Brijendra Kunwarji [Rani Brijendra Kanwar Sahiba, Rani of Raipur Ikdaria (Itaunja)]. b. 1918. Succeeded her husband in the Itaunja estates 1949. Adopted her sister's son as successor to these estates. m. as his second wife, Raja Surendra Bikram Singh, Raja of Raipur Ikdaria (Itaunja) (d. 1949), adopted son of Raja Indra Bikram Singh, Raja of Raipur Ikdaria (Itaunja), in the Lucknow district of UP. She d.s.p. 24th April 1978, having adopted the son of her sister - see India Zamindars (Raipur Ikdaria).
1. Bapu Sahiba Keshore Kunwarji [H.H. Semliawala Maharani Shri Keshar Kunwarji Sahiba, Maharani of Partabgarh]. m. as his second wife, H.H. Maharajadhiraj Maharawat Shri Sir Raghunath Singhji Bahadur, Maharawat of Partabgarh, KCIE (b. 1859; d. 18th January 1929), son of Maharaj Khushal Singhji, of Arnod. She d. 29th April 1908, having had issue - see India (Partabgarh).
2. Bapu Sahiba Partab Kunwarji [Rani Partab Kunwar, of Garhi]. m. Rao Sangram Singh, of Garhi (b. 1873; d.s.p. 1905), adopted son and successor of Rao Gambhir Singh, of Garhi, in Banswara state, and younger son of Thakur Udai Singh of Thakurda.

1) Shrimati Rajkumari Bapu Gunga Kunwar Sahiba [H.H. Rathorji Raniji Gunga Kunwarba Sahiba, of Banswara]. m. H.H. Rai-i-Rayan Sri Bijay Singhji Bahadur, Maharawal of Banswara (d. 1816), eldest son of Maharawal Sri Prithvi Singhji Bahadur, Maharawal of Banswara. She had issue - see India (Banswara).
1772 - 1782 Raja Shreeman Ajab Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, youngest son of Raja Shreeman Jai Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 1772. Successfully defended his throne against the revolt by his brother, Daulat Singhji. He d. 1782, having had issue, three sons:
1) Shreeman Yuvraj Sahib Maharajkumar Mokham Singhji Sahib, who succeeded as Raja Shreeman Mokham Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana - see below.

1782 - 1797 Raja Shreeman Mokham Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, eldest son of Raja Shreeman Ajab Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1782. He d. 1797, having had issue, one son:
1) Shreeman Yuvraj Sahib Maharajkumar Lakshman Singhji Sahib, who succeeded as H.H. Raja Shreeman Lakshman Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana - see below.
1797 - 1826 H.H. Raja Shreeman Lakshman Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, son of Raja Shreeman Mokham Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1797. A strong ruler, who inflicted a decisive defeat on Scindia's army commanded by Bhujang Rao and forced him to offer tribute. He concluded a Treaty with the HEIC 5th January 1819, accepting British protection and agreed a fixed tribute payable to Gwalior at 42,000 Salim Shahi p.a., in return for Scindia agreeing to refrain from any interference in Sailana. He resigned from he active administration of state affairs to his son and devoted his time to religious duties. He d. a Chharias, near Sailana, 1826, having had issue:

1826 - 1827 H.H. Raja Shreeman Ratan Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, only surviving son of H.H. Raja Shreeman Lakshman Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1826. m. (first) H.H. Shrimati Rani Gulab Kunverba Sahiba, daughter of Thakore Shri Jhalum Singhji, of Mundetti, in Idar, by his Rathore wife, the daughter of the Rao of Pol. m. (second) H.H. Shrimati Rani Nath Kanwarji Ba Sahib (b. 1795; d. at the Raj Mahal, Sailana, 1885, Presdt. Regency Cncl. 1857-1859. He d.s.p. at the Raj Mahal, Sailana, 1827.
1827 - 1841 H.H. Raja Shreeman Nahar Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, son of Shreeman Maharaj Bhopat Singhji Sahib, of Deolan, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his childless nephew, 1827. He d. at the Raj Mahal, Sailana, 23rd August 1841, having had issue, a son:

1841 - 1850 H.H. Raja Shreeman Takht Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, son of H.H. Raja Shreeman Nahar Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Sailana, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 23rd August 1841. He d. at the Raj Mahal, Sailana, ca. 17th September 1850, having had issue, an only surviving son:
