1794 - 1840 Mutamid ud-Daula, Nawab Ahmad 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Zafar Jang, Nawab of Rampur. b. before 12th October 1787, only son of Nawab Muhammad 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Rampur, by his wife, the daughter of Nawab 'Abdu'llah Khan, of Budaun. Restored to his hereditary possessions by the intervention of British and Oudh troops, 24th October 1794. Recognised in the hereditary title of Nawab Bahadur, 29th November 1794. Became a tributary of the HEIC as a consequence of the cession of Rohilkand by the Nawab Wazir of Oudh in 1801. Reigned under the regency of his maternal uncle, Nawab Nasru'llah Khan until his death in 1811. m. (first) Nawab Badr un-nisa Begum Sahiba. m. (i) Sabit Mahal Sahiba. m. (ii) Mumtaz Mahal Sahiba. m. (a) Chandrani. m. (b) Dhurru Bala Khana. m. (c) the Dhani Khurd. He d.s.p.m. at Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 5th July 1840 (bur. Nankar), having had issue, one son and three daughters:

1840 - 1855 Nawab Muhammad Said Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Rampur. b. 19th May 1786, fourth son of 'Ali Jah, Amir ul-Umara, Nasir ul-Mulk, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nawab Haji Ghulam Muhammad Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, educ. privately. Entered government service and rose to be Dep. Collector at Dudain. Chosen to succeeded on the death of his cousin on 5th July 1840. Ascended the musnaid, at the Diwankhana, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 20th August 1840. m. several wives including (first) Nawab Fath un-nisa Begum Sahiba, daughter of Muhammad Nur Khan. He d. at the Macchi Bhawan, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 1st April 1855 (bur. there at the Qila-i-Mualla Imambara), having had issue, five sons and one daughter:
