1661 - 1663 Jam Shri Raisinhji Lakhaji Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar, second son of Jam Shri Lakhaji I Ajaji Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar. Dispossessed of his inheritance during the funeral ceremonies for his late brother, 1661. Seized the throne, after the end of the mourning period, twelve days later. Installed on the gadi, 1661. Defeated by Mughal forces sent by the Viceroy of Gujarat, who annexed Jamnagar to the Imperial domains and garrisoned the town. He was k. at the battle of Shekpat, 13th February 1663, having had issue, two sons:
1) Kumar Shri Sataji Raisinhji Jadeja, who succeeded as Jam Shri Tamachi I Raisinhji Jadeja Sahib, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar - see below.
2) Kumar Shri Phulji [Falji] Raisinhji Jadeja, of Bhanvad. Escaped the slaughter at the battle of Shekhpat and fled into Okhamandal, February 1663. Assisted his brother in regaining the throne, and granted Bhanwad and its dependencies, as his jagir, in 1673. He had issue, three sons:
a) Kumar Shri Vibhoji Phulji Sahib.
b) Kumar Shri Nathoji Phulji Sahib. He had issue, one son:
i) Kumar Shri Harbhanji Nathoji Sahib.
c) Kumar Shri Jasoji Phulji Sahib. He had issue, three sons:
1661 and 1663 Jam Shri Satoji [Tamach] Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar, son of Gowardhan of Idar. Proclaimed as son and Heir Apparent of Jam Shri Ranmalji, by his Rathor Rani of Jodhpur, sister of Gowardhan Rathore of Idar. Placed on the throne of Nawanagar by his maternal uncle, 1661. Forced to flee to Ahmadnagar after the rightful heir, Raisinhji, captured the fort twelve days later. Restored to Islamnager, by the Mughal Viceroy Kutub ud-din in February 1663. Defeated by Jam Tamachi, and fled to Ahmadnagar, August 1663. Granted Hatej and twelve villages as his appanage by the Mughals.
1663 - 1690 Jam Shri Tamachi [Tagad] Raisinhji Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar, eldest son of Jam Shri Raisinhji Lakhaji Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar. Escaped the slaughter at the battle of Shekhpat and fled into Okhamandal, February 1663. Deposed and expelled the usurper Sataji, and ascended the gadi of his ancestors, 16th August 1663. Established his capital at Khambaliya, as Islamnagar (Jamnagar) continued to be garrisoned by Imperial troops. Confirmed in his possession by an Imperial farman 25th July 1673. He d. at Khambaliya, 2nd October 1690, having had issue, two sons:
1) Jam Shri Lakhaji II Tamachi Jadeja, Jam Sahib of Nawanagar - see below.
2) Kumar Shri Ranmalji Tamachi Jadeja, of Pardhari. He d. before 1718, having had issue, a son:
a) Kumar Shri Halaji [Kakabhai] Ranmalji, of Pardhari. Abandoned his lands and fled from Nawanagar, after failing to secure the throne in 1743. Became an outlaw, creating a robber state around Modpur. m. a sister of Karsanji Jhala, of Wadhwan. He was k. during the storming of Modpur Castle, by Meru Khawas, after 1768.
