1944 - [1985] H.H. Rai Rayan Mahimahendra Maharajadhiraj Maharawalji Sahib Shri Chandraveer Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Naresh Rajya, Maharawal of Banswara. b. at Banswara, 24th December 1909, eldest son of H.H. Rai Rayan Maharawal Shri Sir Prithvi Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Naresh Rajya, Maharawal of Banswara, KCIE, by his first wife, Sihoriwala Maharaj Raj Kumarani Shrimati Anand Kunverba Sahiba, educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer. Installed as Heir Apparent with the title of Shriman Maharaj Raj Kumar Sahib, 8th January 1914. Senior Mbr State Council and State Judicial Council 1930-1944. Succeeded on the death of his father, 27th July 1944. Ascended the gadi at Banswara, 7th August 1944. Installed at his Rajyabhishek, 20th November 1945. Signed the instrument of accession to the Dominion of India, 1947. Entered into a covenant with his fellow rulers to form the United State of Rajasthan on 25th March 1948, by which his state merged with that union effective from 18th April 1948 (when he ceased to enjoy any sovereign powers). Consented to a further covenant creating the Greater Rajasthan union on 10th March 1949, by which his state merged with that union effective 30th March 1949. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his position as a "ruler" and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28th December 1971. Rcvd: Silver Jubilee (1935), Coron. Jhaliji Maharani Shrimati Sajjan Kanwarji Sahiba (b. at Ajit Nivas Palace, Dhrangadhra, 22nd May 1911; d. 7th January 1982), Rcvd: the Halvad-Dhrangadhra State Rajyabhisek Medal 1st class and the Halvad-Dhrangadhra Accession to India Medal (25.3.1948), rcvd: the Halvad-Dhrangadhra State Rajyabhisek Medal 1st class and the Halvad-Dhrangadhra Accession to India Medal (25.3.1948), eldest daughter of Major H.H.   • 2) Maharaj Shri Hanumant Pratap Singh Sahib. b. at Banswara, 29th March 1939 (s/o Sajjan Kanwarji), educ. Daly Coll, Indore. Cricketer Indian National Team 1963-1970, ICC match referee 1995-2002, Dir National Cricket Acad in Bangalore 2001-2006. Chair World Cricket Acad, Rajasthan Cricket Selection Cttee, Trustee Vagad Sewa Sansthan Trust, etc. m. 1974, Rani Shrimati ... Kunverba Sahiba, a lady from Sind. He d. complications arising out of dengue fever and a hepatitis B infection, at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, 29th November 2006, having had issue, one son and one daughter:

Svasti Sri Madati Prachandra Bhujadandyetyadi Ati-Projjwala-Nepal-Taradisha Sri Sri Sri Maharaja Bhim Shumshere Jang Bahadur Rana, T’ung-ling-ping-ma-Kuo-Kang-wang, Maharaja of Lambjang and Kaski, GCSI, GCMG, KCVO, sometime Prime Minister & C-in-C of Nepal. He had issue, one son:

Brd. of Governors of The Palace Sch. (Jaipur), elder daughter of H.H. Umdai Rajahai Buland Makan Maharaja Shri Umdag Summair Singhji Bahadur, Maharaja of Kishangarh, by his wife, H.H. Maharani Shri Gita Kumari Sahiba, third daughter of H.H. Maharaja Thakore Shri Sir Bahadursinhji Mansinhji Sahib, Thakore Sahib of Palitana, KCSI, KCIE. He had issue, two daughters:

She had issue – see India (Ratlam).
  • 2) Maharajkumari Shrimati Baiji Lal Shri Hari Pratap Kanwarji Sahiba [Rani Hari Pratap Kanwarji Sahiba, of Askote] (d/o Lalita Kanwarji). m. Rajwar Takendra Bahadur Pal, Rajwar of Askote (d. November 2000), eldest son of Rajwar Bikram Bahadur Pal, Rajwar of Askote, in the Pithorgarh tahsil of the Almora district, UP now Uttarakhand, by his wife, Rani Tribhuwaneswari Devi Sahiba, daughter of Sri Sri Sri Raja Bikram Bahadur Singh, Raja of Bajang, Nepal.   • 5) Maharajkumari Shrimati Baiji Lal Shri Jhinkajija Pratap Kanwarji Sahiba [Kanwarani Janaknandani Kumari Sahiba, of Kothi]. b. at Dhrangadhra, 7th October 1935 (d/o Lalita Kanwarji). m. at Banswara, Kanwar Tara Singh Tanwar (b. 26th January 1927; d. 2nd September 1992), second son of Rana Vashisht Chand, Rana of Koti, under Keonthal, by his wife, a daughter of Thakur Padam Chand, Thakur of Theog, under Keonthal. She d. in childbirth, at Chandigarh, 17th December 1974, having had issue, one son – see India Non-salute (Keonthal-Koti).

(BA). m. at Ishwari Niwas, Bundi, 3rd July 1998, Rajkumarani Shrimati Mridula Kumari, daughter of Maharaj Shri Balbhadra Singhji, of Kapren, in Bundi, by his wife, Rathorji Rani Shri Rohini Devi Sahiba, a lady from the Baghera family, in Ajmer-Merwara. He has issue, one son:
      • i) Bhanwar Shri Keshvasya Pratap Singh.
