GENEALOGY
1793 - 1801 H.M. Inayat-i-Ilahi Padshah Sultan Zaman Shah Bahadur, Dur-i-Durran, Padshah of Afghanistan. b. 1770, fourteenth son of H.M. Inayat-i-Ilahi Sultan Timur Shah Bahadur, Padshah-i-Ghazi, Dur-i-Durran, Padshah of Afghanistan, by his fourth wife, a lady of the Sadozai clan. educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Apparent with the title of Vali Ahad by his father. Proclaimed on the death of his father, and installed in the Throne Room of the Bila Hissar, at Kabul, 23rd May 1793. Deposed and blinded by his brother Mahmud, 25th July 1801. Settled in India where he received a pension of Rs. 4,000 p.m. m. (first) Sahib Jan Begum (m. second, 1801, Sardar Shahab ud-din Khan Tokhi, sometime Vizier), daughter of Sardar ‘Abdu’r Rahman Khan Hotaki. m. (second) Mir Husaini Jan Begum (b. ca. 1773; d. after 1829). m. (third) Faiza Begum. m. (fourth) at Khulm, a daughter of Sayyid Amir Haidar Khan, Amir of Bokhara. m. (fifth) a daughter of Nur Muhammad Babur, Amin ul-Mulk. He d. at Ludhiana, 10th September 1845 (bur. Sirhind, Patiala) (succ. by his younger brother), having had issue sixteen sons and several daughters, including:
