16xx - 1644 Kabaka Kimbugwe Kamegere, Kabaka of Buganda. b. at Kongoje, after 1614, youngest son of Kabaka Suna I Kisolo, Kabaka of Buganda, by his second wife, Nalugwa. Succeeded on the death of his cousin. Established his capital at Bugwanya. m. (first) Nakamyuka, daughter of Mukusu, of the Mpindi clan. m. (second) Nakunja, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Mbogo clan. m. (third) Abakyala Nabuso, the Naabagareka, widow of his predecessor, Kabaka Sekamanya Kisolo, Kabaka of Buganda, and daughter of Gunju, of the Butiko clan. He was k. (by witchcraft) by his step-son, Prince Katerega, ca. 1644 (bur. Merera), having had issue, two sons:
 
1644 - 1674 Kabaka Katerega Kamegere, Kabaka of Buganda, only son of Kabaka Sekamanya Kisolo, Kabaka of Buganda, by his only wife, Abakyala Nabuso, the Naabagareka. Succeeded on the death of his step-father, allegedly, after killing him by witchcraft, ca. 1644. Established his capital at Lugeye Hill. m. (first) Nakabugo, daughter of Mugema, of the Kima clan. m. (second) Nakamu, daughter of Kinyoro, of the Kima clan. m. (third) Nakinyago, daughter of Naserenga, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (fourth) Nalongo Kawenyera, sister of Nakabugo, and daughter of Mugema, of the Kima clan. m. (fifth) Nalugwa, daughter of Lwomwa, of the Ndiga clan. m. (sixth) Namayumba, daughter of daughter of Mugema, of the Kima clan. m. (seventh) Namugayi, daughter of Mpinga, of the Lugave clan. m. (eighth) Namutebi, daughter of Mbaja, of the Mamba clan. m. Succeeded on the death of his father, ca. 1674. Estalished his capital at Muguluka. m. (first) Nabitalo, daughter of Walusembe, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (second) Nabukalu Nabuto, daughter of Ndugwa, of the Lugave clan. m. (third) Naluyima, daughter of Nakatanza, of the Lugave clan. m. (fourth) Namawuba, daughter of Natigo, of the Lugave clan. m. Established his capital at Dgalamye. m. (first) Nabatanzi, daughter of Sebugulu, of the Lugave clan. m. (second) Nakimera, daughter of Kalanzi, of the Nsenene clan. m. (third) Nakisozi, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Mbogo clan. m. (fourth) Nalunga, daughter of Semalulu, of the Nvuma clan. m. (fifth) Nandaula Kabengano, daughter of Nkata, of the Nsenene clan. m. Succeeded on the death of his uncle, ca. 1704. Established his capital at Bundeke. m. (first) Abakyala Nakyazirana, Kaddulubaale, daughter of Sensalire, of the Ndjovu clan. m. (second) Balangaza, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Mbogo clan. m. (third) Nabali, daughter of Sempala, of the Ffumbe clan. m. Succeeded on the death of his cousin. Established his capital at Lubaga. m. (first) Nabisubi (d.s.p.), daughter of Namenyeka of the Mamba clan. m. (second) Naguja, daughter of Mukalo, of the Ndjovu clan. m. (third) Nakikulwe Namirembe, daughter of Kayindi. m. (fourth) Nakide Luyiga, daughter of Segirinya, of the Dgo clan. m. 1734 - 17xx Kabaka Kagulu Tebutwereke Ntambi, Kabaka of Buganda. b. at Kyebando, eldest son of Kabaka Ndaula Nsobya, Kabaka of Buganda, by his second wife, Naguja. Succeeded on the death of his father, ca. 1734. Established his capital at Bulizo. Deposed by his sister, the Nassolo, Princess Ndege. Fled to Buto. m. an only wife. He was k. (drowned in Lake Victoria Nyanza on the orders of Nassolo), having had issue, two sons:

17xx - 1740 Kabaka Mawanda Sebanakita, Kabaka of Buganda. b. at Kyebando, third son of Kabaka Ndaula Nsobya, Kabaka of Buganda, by his fourth wife, Nakide Luyiga. He killed his brother and seized the throne. Established his capital at Katakala. m. (first) Abakyala Kikome, the Kaddulubaale, daughter of Gabunga, of the Mamba clan. m. (second) Abakyala Nabunya, Nassaza, daughter of Masembe, of the Nsenene clan. m. (third) Nabuso (d.s.p.), daughter of Gunju, of the Butiko clan. m. (fourth) Nakasinde, daughter of Namwama, of the Kobe clan. m. (fifth) Namisango (d.s.p.), daughter of Sebugwawo, of the Musu clan. m. (sixth) Nang'onzi, daughter of Mbazira, of the Nyonyi clan. m. (seventh) Nankonyo, daughter of Kagenda, of the Mamba clan. He was k. by a concert of princes, including Prince Mwanga, ca. 1740 (bur. Merera, and reburied at Serinnya in 1864), having had issue, four sons and two daughters:

1740 - 1741 Kabaka Mwanga I Sebanakita, Kabaka of Buganda, eldest son of Prince Musanje Goluba, by his second wife, Nabulya Nalugwa. Succeeded on the death of uncle, ca. 1740. m. (first) Najuma, daughter of Natigo, of the Lugave clan. m. (second) Nakabugo, daughter of Mugema, of the Kima clan. m. (third) Abakyala Nakiwala, Omubika (d.s.p.), daughter of Semwanga, of the Donge clan. m. (fourth) Nalubowa (d.s.p.), daughter of Segirinya, of the Dgo clan. m. (fifth) Namakulu, daughter of Mpinga, of the Lugave clan. He was k. by Nkunnumbi, in revenge for the murder of his son, ca. 1741 (bur. Merera, and reburied at Kavumba in 1860) (succ. by his brother), having had issue, three sons:

1741 - 1750 Kabaka Namugala Kagali, Kabaka of Buganda, second son of Prince Musanje Goluba, by his second wife, Nabulya Nalugwa. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, ca. 1741. Established his capital at Nansana. Abdicated in favour of his younger brother, ca. 1750. Thereafter, he settled at Mawokota, Bulamadzi Co. m. (first) Abakyala Basuta, the Kaddulubaale (d.s.p.), daughter Masembe, of the Nsenene clan. m. (second) Najuka, daughter of Gunju, of the Butiko clan. m. (third) Nakangu, daughter of Kagenda, of the Mamba clan. m. (fourth) Nalubowa (d.s.p.), daughter of Segirinya, of the Leopard clan. m. (fifth) Nalunga (d.s.p.), daughter of Terwewalwa, of the Nvuma clan. m. (sixth) Nawaguma, daughter of Kisule, of the Tembo clan. He was accidentally k. from a fall on Nalubugo Hill, after 1750 (bur. Merera), having had issue, three sons:
