1819 - 1837 H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Mangthaduraja [Manthathurath], King of Luang Prabang. b. at Luang Prabang, 1772, as Prince (Sadet Chao Fa Jaya) Mangthana [Muong Then], eldest son of H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Udama Varman Krung Sri Sadhana Kanayudha Udarattanapuri Rama Brahma Chakrapati Mahanayaka Maharajadhana Lanjang Krom Klao Anuradhuratta [Anurathurat], King of Luang Prabang, educ. privately at Luang Prabang and at Wat Phrakeo and Wat Mahathat, Bangkok, Siam. Appointed as Heir Presumptive and invested with the title of Raja Varman 1791. Became Regent for his father after his renunciation of executive powers in 1817. Succeeded on this death, 31st December 1819. Crowned at Luang Prabang with the title of Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Mangthaduraja 1820. Served as a monk in Bangkok, leaving Luang Prabang to be administered by Siamese officials 1825-1826. Returned to Luang Prabang and resumed executive powers in 1826. m. several wives. He d. at the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang, 7th March 1837, having had issue, nine sons and six daughters, by different mothers:

1837 - 1850 H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Sukra Sumaya [Sukha Seum], King of Lan Xang Hom Khao. b. 1797, eldest son of H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Mangthaduraja [Mangthathurath], King of Luang Prabang, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 7th March 1837. Being a Siamese hostage in Bangkok, he was not recognised and allowed to return to Luang Prabang until 1838. Crowned at Luang Prabang with the title of Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Sukra Sumaya, 1839. He d. at the Palace of Xieng-Méne, 23rd September 1850, having had issue, six sons and nine daughters:
