1819 - 1860 H.H. Maharajadhiraj Mirza Maharao Shri Daisulji II Sahib Bahadur, Rao of Cutch. b. at Aina Mahal, Bhuj, 20th June 1814, as Daisalsinhji Bharmulji, only son of H.H. Maharajadhiraj Mirza Maharao Shri Bharmulji II Sahib, Rao of Cutch, by his wife, H.H. Sodhi Maharani Bai Shri Tajuba Sahib, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Apparent to his father, 1817. Succeeded on the deposition of his father, 25th March 1819. Installed on the gadi, 19th April 1819. Reigned under a Council of Regency, headed by Captain MacMurdo and composed of Jadeja chiefs. During the early years of his reign Cutch suffered a severe earthquake on 16th June 1819, resulting in much destruction of property and great loss of life. A severe famine followed in 1823, and in 1825 and 1832 the state was wated by a marauding band of 3,000 Sindi freebooters. Came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, 8th July 1834. Appointed a Council of Regency due to increasing ill-health in early 1859, and transferred his ruling powers to his son and heir, July 1859. m. eight wives including (first) at Dhrangadhra, H.H. Jhaliji Rani Shri Bajiraj Kunwarba Sahib, eldest daughter of H.H. Shri Shaktimant Jhaladap Mahamandleshwar Maharana Shri Raj Amarsinhji Raisinhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharana Raj Sahib of Dhrangadhra, by his first wife, H.H. Raniji Shri Dev Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of the Chief of Gangad. m. (second) at Dhrangadhra, 1838, H.H. Jhaliji Rani Shri Rupaliba Kunwarba Sahib, third daughter of H.H. Shri Shaktimant Jhaladap Mahamandleshwar Maharana Shri Raj Amarsinhji Raisinhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharana Raj Sahib of Dhrangadhra, by his second wife, H.H. Raniji Shri Shabha Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of Kumar Shri Mokji Sahib Waghela, of Bet. m. (third) H.H. Rani Shri Waduba Sahib (d. at Aina Mahal, Bhuj, 15th June 1896). m. (fourth) H.H. Rani Shri Surajba Sahib (d. at Aina Mahal, Bhuj, 12th August 1896). He d. at Aina Mahal, Bhuj, 26th July 1860, leaving issue, two sons and one daughter:

1859. Succeeded him, 26th July 1860. Ascended the gadi, 28th July 1860. m. (first) at Bhuj, 1854, H.H. Jhaliji Rani Shri Achhuba Kunwarba Sahib (d. at Bhuj 1880), eldest daughter of H.H. Shri Shaktimant Jhaladap Mahamandleshwar Maharana Shri Raj Sir Ranmalji Amarsinhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharana Raj Sahib of Dhrangadhra, KCSI, by his first wife, H.H. Raniji Ba Shri Vraj Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of Thakore Shri Bhabhuji Sahib, Thakore Sahib of Rajkot. m. (second) at Bhuj, 1854, H.H. Jhaliji Rani Shri Naniba Kunwarba Sahib (b. at the Diwankhana, Dhrangadhra;d. at Bhuj 27th May 1884), daughter of H.H. Shri Shaktimant Jhaladap Mahamandleshwar Maharana Shri Raj Sir Ranmalji Amarsinhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharana Raj Sahib of Dhrangadhra, KCSI, by his third wife H.H. Raniji Ba Shri Bairajba Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of Jadeja Shri Raghoji [Radhubha] Sahib, of Nawanagar State.m. (third) H.H. Jethwaji Rani Shri Kesaba Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of H.H. Maharaja Rana Shri Vikramatji Khimojiraj Sahib, Rana Sahib of Porbandar. m. (fourth) H.H. Jethwaji Rani Shri Faiba Kunwarba Sahib, another daughter of H.H. Maharaja Rana Shri Vikramatji Khimojiraj Sahib, Rana Sahib of Porbandar, by his second wife H.H. Rani Shri Bairaj Kunwarba Sahib, daughter of Kumar Shri Raghoji [Radhubha] Jasoji Sahib, of Sarodar in Nawanagar state. He d. at Prag Mahal, Bhuj 19th December 1875, having had issue, two sons and one daughter:
