Jasa Perkasa Persekutuan (Federal Award for Bravery and Merit): instituted by King Hisam ud-din Alam Shah on 29th July 1960 as a reward for bravery by civilians, and also on all ranks of the armed forces for acts of gallantry not in the face of the enemy. (Dedicated Service Medal): instituted by King Hisam ud-din Alam Shah on 29th July 1960 as a reward for members of the uniformed services and those attached to the Malaysian forces in recognition of active service, particularly during the emergency. Awarded in a single class, silver medal (PKB).
Pingat Perkhidmatan Am

Kepujian Perutusan Keberanian (Mention in Dispatches): instituted by King Hisam ud-din Alam Shah on 29th July 1960. Conferred on members of the Armed Forces and the Royal Malaysian Police Force for acts of gallantry deserving recognition but not to the extent of meriting a decoration. The award can be conferred more than once for subsequent acts of gallantry. Awarded in a single class, a bronze palm frond worn on the relevant campaign medal (KPK).

Pingat Peringatan Malaysia (Malaysia Commemorative Medal): instituted by King Syed Harun Putra on 19th September 1965 to commemorate the foundation of Malaysia and to reward services in furtherance of the same. Awarded in three classes of medals, silver-gilt, silvered-bronze and bronze (PPM).
Pingat Negara Bagiperkhidmatan Di Bawah Pertubahan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (United Nations Overseas Service Medal): instituted by King Ja'afar in 1994 as a medal of service for those who have served overseas on missions of the United Nations. Awarded in a single class, silver medal (PNBB).
Pingat Jasa Malaysia (Malaysia Service Medal): instituted by King Syed Siraj ud-din in 2004 to commemorate the services of British and Commonwealth Forces during the Malay Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation between 1957 and 1966. (Sultan 'Abdu'l Halim Shah Installation Medal): instituted to commemorate the installation of the Sultan of Kedah, Sultan 'Abdu'l Halim Shah, as the fifth King of Malaysia on 20th February 1971. Awarded in three classes of medals, gold, silver and bronze.

(Sultan Yahya Petra Installation Medal): instituted to commemorate the installation of the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Yahya Petra, as the sixth King of Malaysia on 28 February 1976. Awarded in three classes of medals, gold, silver and bronze.

(Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Installation Medal): instituted to commemorate the installation of the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, as the seventh King of Malaysia on 10th July 1980. Awarded in three classes of medals, gold, silver and bronze.
