1234   Raja Vyaghra Dev, Raja of Marpha, son of Raja Viradhavala, Raja of Gujarat. Arrived in Baghelkhan from Gujarat in 1234 AD, where he obtained control of the Marpha fort, near Kalinjar. m. Rani Sindur Mati Sahiba, daughter of Raja Mukung Dev Chandrawat, Raja of Pirhawan. He had issue, five sons:

Succeeded on the death of his paternal grandfather as a minor. Seized the town of Hunda, which he made his capital for a time. Flourished during the reign of Bahlol Lodhi (r. 1451-1489). m. 1470 - 1495  Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Bhaidya Chandra Deo [Bhira Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, elder son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Narhara Dev, Maharaja of Bandhogarh, by his wife, Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Rajala Devi Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, ca. 1470. Conquered several important cities, including Gaya, Benares and Prayaaga. Assisted Husain Shah Sharqi of Jaunpur to flee before the emperor and gave him asylum in 1487-9. Submitted to Sultan Sikander Lodi, after he invaded his territories as far as Kantit in 1494. Attacked by the emperor again in 1494, and forced to flee. m. (first) Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Uddharana Devi, daughter of Raja Basatan Chandra Dev, Raja of Buxor. m. (second) Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Gandharva Devi (committed sati after the death of her husband, 1495), daughter of "the Rana of Chitor", probably Rana Shri Rai Malji Sahib, Rana of Mewar. He d. while fleeing from the Imperial forces towards Surguja, 1495, having had issue, at least three sons:

1495 - 1499  Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Salivan Deo [Salivahana Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, younger son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Bhaidya Chandra Deo [Bhira Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother. The Emperor Sikander Lodi requested one of his daughters in marriage, but he refused. For this insult, his territories were invaded and laid waste in 1499, all crops were destroyed, but the fort at Bandhogarh could not be taken. Abdicated in favour of his son and went into retirement, 1499. m. (first) Bandhveshwari Sri Chahanin Maharani Sri Kalyana Devi Sahiba, daughter of Puran Mal Chauhan. m. (second) Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Artha Devi Sahiba, daughter of Sumer Rajput Raja Singh Bais, of Dhauniakhera. He d. 1500, having had issue, four sons:

1499 - 1540 Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Bir Singh Deo [Virasinha Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, elder son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Salivahana Deo, Maharaja of Bandhogarh, by his wife, Bandhveshwari Sri Chahanin Maharani Sri Kalyana Devi Sahiba, educ. privately. Commanded his grandfathers armies which confronted Sikander Lodi, but defeated by that emperor at Khan Ghati in 1495. Fled to Panna, where he founded the town of Birsinghpur. Succeeded on the abdication of his father. Reconciled to Sikander Lodi and attended him at his court. He granted asylum to Amari Das [Sangram Shah] of Garha-Mandla. Assisted Maharana Sangramji with 4,000 horse, at the Battle of Kanwartha in 1527. Later submitted to Emperor Babur and received Bhata in jagir. m. Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Sukumara Devi Sahiba, daughter of Mohan Singh Kachhawa. He d. on the banks of the Jamuna river, at an advanced age, having had issue, three sons:

1540 - 1555  Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Virabhan Deo [Virabhanu Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, eldest son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Bir Singh Deo [Virasinha Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1540. Annexed Ujjata to his domains. m. (first) Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Gosaini Devi Sahiba, a Haihaya princess. m. (second) Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Rayamati Devi Sahiba, daughter of Dadu Raya. m. (third) a daughter of Sultan Singh Kachhawa. He d. 1540, having had issue, a son:

1555 - 1592 Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Ramchandra Singh Ju Deo Bahadur [Ramachandra Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Virabhan Deo [Virabhanu Dev], Maharajaa of Bandhogarh, by his wife, Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Rayamati Devi Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1555. He defeated Ibrahim Suri and made him his prisoner in 1555, but treated with due courtesy, refusing to sit in his presence and waiting on him as a servant. Purchased the fort of Kalanjar from Ali Khan, but surrendered it to Emperor Akbar in July 1569. Thereafter, becoming a faithful courtier, once presenting him with rubies valued at Rs 50,000, receiving 101 horses from the emperor in return. Appointed to an Imperial mansab of 2,000 zat. m. at Gaura, Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Yasoda Devi Sahiba, daughter of Raja Madhav Singh, Raja of Gaura. He d. 1592, having had issue:

1592 - 1593 Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Virbhadra Rao Bahadur, Maharaja of Bandhogarh. b. at Bandhogarh, ca. 1540, son of Bandhvesh Sri Maharaja Ramchandra Singh Ju Deo Bahadur [Ramachandra Dev], Maharaja of Bandhogarh, by his wife, Bandhveshwari Sri Maharani Sri Yasoda Devi Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, before 25th July 1593. Sheltered the family of Emperor Humayun, after they had been driven from Delhi by Sher Shah Suri. m. (first) Bandhveshwari Sri Bada Rathorin Maharani Sahiba, a daughter of Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Sri Rai Singhji Bahadur, Raja of Bikaner. m. (second) Bandhveshwari Sri Rathorin Maharani Sri Manavati Baiji Lall Sahiba, seventh daughter of Rao Shri Mal Deo [Maldevji] Sahib, Rao of Jodhpur, by his third wife, Shri Jhaliji Rani Navrang Deviji Sahiba, née Ardhan Bai, daughter of Mero Sujavat Jhala. He d. from wounds received in a fall from his palki, while returning from Delhi to Bandhoragh for his installation, before 25th July 1593, having had issue, a son:
