1724 - 1749 Raj Rajeshwar Maharaja Shri Abhai Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur. b. at Meherangarh, Jodhpur, 7th November 1702, eldest son of Raj Rajeshwar Maharaja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Jodhpur, by his wife, Shri Bada Chauhaniji Rani Shri Raj Kunwarji Maji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Chaturbhuj [Dayaldasot], of Hotalu, educ. privately. Entered the Mughal service and appointed to an Imperial mansab of 1,500 zat and 800 sowar 23rd April 1708, prom. to 2,000 zat and 1,500 sowar 1712, prom. to 7,000 zat and 7,000 sowar 25/7/1724. Faujdar of Patan 1712-1713, Junagadh 1713-1714, and of Surat 1714-1715, Subadar of Ajmer, and of Gujarat 1730-1737. Conquerer of Ahmedabad. Succeeded on the death of his father, 24th June 1724. 1751 - 1752 Raj Rajeshwar Saramad-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Bakht Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur. b. at Meherangarh, Jodhpur, 16th August 1706, a younger son of Raj Rajeshwar Maharaja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Jodhpur, by his wife, Shri Bada Chauhaniji Rani Shri Raj Kunwarji Maji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Chaturbhuj [Dayaldasot], of Hotalu, educ. privately. Granted Nagaur in jagir on 4th July 1726, by his elder brother, in reward for killing his father, and hastening his accession to the throne. Entered the Imperial service and appointed Faujdar of Idar 1721, and Subadar of Ajmer and Gujarat on 1st May 1748, but did not assume the government of those territories. Quarelled with his brother, Maharaja Abhai Singh, and attempted to wrest the throne from him with the help of Maharaja Gaj Singh of Bikaner. Later reconciled to him, but rebelled against his son, after his death in 1749. Defeated his nephew in battle at Luniawas, 27th November 1750. Ascended the gadi at Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, 8th July 1751. Assisted in his bid for the throne by the Marathas and consequently forced to cede Ajmer to them. His reigns at Nagaur and Jodhpur saw a flowering of the arts and culture, especially in the fields of painting and literature. m. 1749-1751 & 1753-1772 Raj Rajeshwar Saramad-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Ram Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur. b. at Mehrangarh, 28th July 1730, only surviving son of Raj Rajeshwar Maharaja Shri Abhai Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur, by his second wife, Shri Narukiji Rani Bakhat Kanwarji Maji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Kishore Singh [Mukundsinghot], of Laran, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 18th June 1749. Ascended the gadi, at the Sringar Chowki, Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, 13th July 1749. Defeated in battle by his uncle at Luniawas, 27th November 1750. Expelled from Jodhpur and sought refuge in Jaipur, July 1751. Ascended the gadi for the second time after deposing Maharaja Vijay Singhji Sahib, 1753. m. (first) at the City Palace, Jaipur, after July 1751, Shri Kachhawahi Rani Deep Kanwarji Sahiba, only daughter of Saramad-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan, Raj Rajeshwar Shri Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh Bahadur, Maharaja of Jaipur, by his second wife, Sakatawat-Sisodaniji Maharani Ajab Kunwariji Sahiba, daughter of Raja Shri Surtan Singhji [Surajmalot], of Banera, in Udaipur Mewar. m. (second) Shri Rajawatji Rani Kushal Kanwarji Sahiba, daughter of Thakur Shri Jaswant Singh [Kushalsinghot], of Ladana, in Jaipur. m.
