1748 - 1750 H.H. Humayun Jah, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Ahmad 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Nasir Jang, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan. b. 26th February 1712, second son of H.H. Asaf Jah I, Yamin us-Sultanat, Rukn us-Sultanat, Jumlat ul-Mulk, Madar ul-Maham, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Khan-i-Dauran, Nawab Mir Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Fath Jang, Sipah Salar, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan, by his second wife, Said un-nisa Begum Sahiba, educ. privately. Appointed as his father's Deputy during his absence in Delhi 1737-1741. Attempted to seize power, but was defeated by his father at the Idhag Maidan in Aurangabad, 23rd July 1741. Subadar of Aurangabad 1745-1746. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1st June 1748. Ascended the musnad at Burhanpur, 2nd June 1748. Invested by Imperial firman, 4th February 1749. m. several wives, including before 3rd February 1745, a daughter of Yar Wafadar, Roshan ud-Daula, Nawab Khwaja Muzaffar Zafar Khan Bahadur, Rustam Jang, sometime 3rd Bakhshi and cdr. of 7,000 zat and 7,000 sowar. He was k. at Dupleix-Fathabad (Sarasangupettai?), near Jinji, by the Pathan Nawab Himmat Bahadur Khan of Kurpa, 16th December 1750 (bur. Mausoleum of Hazrat Burhan ud-din Gharib, Burhanpur), having had issue:

Nawab Hidayat Muhi ud-din Sa'adu'llah Khan Bahadur, Muzaffar Jang, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan, eldest son Nawab Talib Muhi ud-din Mutawassil Khan Bahadur, Muzaffar Jang, sometime Naib Subadar of Bijapur, by his wife Sahibzadi Khair un-nisa Begum, the daughter of H.H. Asaf Jah I, Yamin us-Sultanat, Rukn us-Sultanat, Jumlat ul-Mulk, Madar ul-Maham, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Khan-i-Dauran, Nawab Mir Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Fath Jang, Sipah Salar, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan. Appointed to an Imperial mansab of 3,000 zat and 2,000 sowar, prom. to 4,000 zat on his appointment to Bijapur. Subadar of Bijapur after the death of his father. Assumed the Viceroyalty of the Deccan on the death of his uncle, 16th December 1750. Installed at Pondicherry, when he granted territories and titles to Dupleix and the French, 31st December 1750. Granted the titles of Muzaffar Jang and Sa'adu'llah Khan. Invested with the Mahi-o-Maratib 3rd April 1751. He was k. in battle at the Lakkireddipalli Pass, in the Rayachoti taluka, when the Nawab of Kurnool struck him in the head with a spear, 13th February 1751, having had issue, an only son:

1751 - 1762  H.H. Amir ul-Mamalik, Asaf ud-Daula, Nawab Said Muhammad Khan Bahadur, Zaffar Jang, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan. b. before 24th November 1718, third son of H.H. Asaf Jah I, Yamin us-Sultanat, Rukn us-Sultanat, Jumlat ul-Mulk, Madar ul-Maham, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Khan-i-Dauran, Nawab Mir Ghazi ud-din Khan Bahadur, Fath Jang, Sipah Salar, Nawab Subadar of the Deccan, educ. privately. Appointed as Deputy Viceroy to his elder brother, Ghazi ud-din, 1751. Proclaimed at the camp near Luckridpilli, at French instigation, 13th February 1751. Invested by Imperial firman, at Aurangabad, 12th September 1749. Granted the titles of Khan Bahadur and Salabat Jang during his father's lifetime, prom. to Asaf ud-Daula and Zaffar Jang 1751, and prom. to Amir ul-Mamalik by the Emperor Alamgir II. The first of his house to enter into treaty relations with the HEIC, 14th May 1759. Deposed and imprisoned by his brother, 8th July 1762. He was k. in prison, at Bidar Fort, 16th September 1763 (bur. Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad), having had issue, two sons:
