Ismail Pasha, Khedive of Egypt, etc, GCB, GCSI, by his fourth wife, H.H. Princess Shafiq-Nur, Valida Effendimiz, educ. Royal Sch, Manyal, and Tajhiziyya Sch, Cairo. Granted the personal title of Mîrmîran Pasha with two horse-tails together with the rank of Lieut-Gen in the Imperial Ottoman Army 6/4/1863, prom to Vizier with three horse tails and Field Marshal 19/7/1868. Became Heir Apparent as a consequence of the change in the rules of succession, 28th May 1866. Invested as Heir Apparent at the Cairo Citadel, 1st August 1868. Presdt Privy Council 1872-1879 and of the Council of Ministers 10th March-6th April 1879, and Minister for the Interior. Succeeded on the deposition of his father, 25th June 1879. Installed at the Cairo Citadel, 26th June 1879. Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge of Egypt 1881-1891. Princess Amina Najiya Khanum Effendimiz, the Daulat al-Valida Sultana (b. at Istanbul, Turkey, 24th May 1858; d. at Bebek, Bosphorus, Turkey, 19th June 1931, bur. Khedive Tawfik Mausoleum, Kait Bey, Cairo, Egypt), known as "Umm al-Mu’hsinin" in recognition of her many charitable endowments, the first consort to be styled Khediva Effendimiz from 19th January 1873, and became Daulat al-Valida Sultana on the succession of her eldest son 7th January 1892, rcvd: the Orders of Honour (Nishan-i-Imtiaz) and Charity (Nishan-i-Shafakat) 1st class of Turkey, and GC of the Order of the Crown of Hawaii (1883), eldest daughter of Lieutenant-General H.H. Damad Prince Ibrahim al-Hami Pasha by Nazrin Kadin. He d. at Helwan Palace, Cairo, Egypt, 7th January 1892 (bur. there, Khedive Tawfik Mausoleum, Kait Bey), having had issue, two sons and three daughters:

Rcvd: the Decoration of al-Kemal in brilliants (1915), and the Order of Charity (Nishan-i-Shafakat) 1st class of Turkey. m. at the ‘Abdin Palace, Cairo, Egypt, 30th January 1895 (nikah) and at the Palace of Shubra, Cairo, Egypt, 1st February 1895 (zifaf), Lieutenant-General H.H. Prince Muhammad ‘Abbas Halim Pasha (b. at the Palace of Shubra, Cairo, Egypt, 29th September 1866; d. from a bronchial infection, at at Helouan-les-bains, Cairo, Egypt, 10th January 1935), second son of H.H. Prince Muhammed ‘Abdu’l-Halim Pasha, by his wife Vijdan. She d. at Helouan-les-bains, Cairo, Egypt, 22nd February 1951, having had issue, six daughters - see above.
3) H.S.H. Princess Ni’matu’llah Khanum Effendi. b. at Cairo, Egypt, 23rd October 1882, educ. privately. Granted the style of Her Sultanic Highness 19th December 1914. Rcvd: the Decoration of al-Kemal in brilliants (1915), and the Order of Charity (Nishan-i-Shafakat) 1st class of Turkey. m. (first) at Cairo, Egypt, 8th January 1896 (div. 14th November 1903), Lieutenant-General H.E. Muhammad Jamil Tusun Pasha (b. at Alexandria, Cairo, Egypt, 1st January 1874; d. at Toulouse, France, 6th August 1932), youngest son of Lieutenant-General H.H. Prince Muhammad Tusun Pasha, by his second wife, H.H. Princess Fatima Khanum Effendi, second daughter of H.H. Ismail Pasha, Khedive of Egypt, etc. GCB, GCSI, by whom she had issue, an only son by her first husband - see above. m. (second) at Cairo, Egypt, 5th May 1904, General H.S.H. Prince Husain Kamal ud-din Pasha (b. at Cairo, Egypt, 20th December 1874; d.s.p. at Toulouse, France, 6th August 1932), eldest son of H.H. Husain Kamil, Sultan of Egypt, etc. GCB, by his first wife, H.H. Princess ‘Ain ul-Hayat Khanum Effendi, eldest daughter of H.H. Prince Ahmad Rifa’at Pasha. She d. at Nice, France, 1965 (bur. there, Cimetière de Caucade).
