The Order of the Black Eagle - Grand Cross, civil division, breast star (L) and sash badge, obverse (R).

The Order of the Black Eagle (Urdhëri i shqiponjë e zezë): founded by Prince Vidit I on 26th March 1914 as a general reward for meritorious services to the sovereign and the state, by both Albanian nationals and foreigners in the service of Albania. Conferred in two divisions (military and civil) and four classes (1. Grand Cross – six awards, 2. Commander with Star – four awards, 3. Commander, and 4. Knight). The Military division included a pair of crossed swords over the suspension loop of the badge. Obsolete.

The Medal of the Black Eagle (Medalja i shqiponjë e zezë): instituted by Prince Vidit I on 26^th March 1914 as a general reward for meritorious civil and military services for those not normally eligible for the order of the same name. Conferred in three grades (1. gold, 2. Silver, and 3. bronze). Obsolete June 1920.

The Medal of the Black Eagle: Second Grade in silver (L) and Third Grade in bronze (R)..

Accession Medal (Medalja i ngjitje): instituted by Prince Vidit I to commemorate his accession to the throne of Albania and his arrival at Durazzo on 7^th March 1914. Awarded in three grades (1. Gold, 2. Silver, and 3. Bronze). Obsolete June 1920.

The Accession Medal: Third Grade in bronze.
