• 1) Tapu'osi Kau'ulufonua III, 31^st Tu'i Tonga (s/o Kaloafutonga) - see below.
• 1) Princess 'Ekutingapipiki, 4^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine. m. Fonomanu, son of Tapu'osi, by his wife, Princess Sinaitakala-'i-Langileka, 3^rd Tu'i Tonga Fefine, daughter of 'Uluakimata I Tele'a, 30^th Tu'i Tonga. She had issue, four sons and three daughters:

  • c) Na'utu. m. Lelenoa, daughter of Vaea, 8^th Tu'i Ha'atakalaua. He had issue:
    • i) Fehoko Moelangi-'i-Fisi, 1^st Tu'i Lakepa. m. (first) Princess Sinaitakala-'i-Fanakavalilangi, 6^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine (d. at Lapaha, Mu'a, bur. there at Langi Fanakavakilangi), daughter of Fakana'ana'a, 34^th Tu'i Tonga, by his first wife, Tongotea Moheofo, youngest daughter of Mataele Ha'ame'a, 4^th Tu'i Kanokupolu. He had issue, one son and three daughters - see below.
  • d) Latumailangi Utuma'atu Puakatefisi, 1^st Latu, of Niu'atuputapu - see Tonga (Niu'atuputapu). Received Jan Schouten and Jacob Lemaire, at Niuatoputapu 12^th May 1616. He had issue, two sons:
  • a) Princess Tu'imala, 2^nd Tamaha. m. as his third wife, Mataele Tu'apiko, 3^rd Tu'i Kanokupolu, eldest surviving son of Atamata'ila, 2^nd Tu'i Kanokupolu, by his wife, Tokilupe, daughter of the Tu'i Ha'atu'unga, of Nukunuku. She had issue, a son - see Tonga (Tupou).
  • b) Tavo.
  • c) Tu'ihihifo.
• 2) Princess 'Atalua. m. as his first wife, Fotofili, 7^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, eldest son of Mo'unga-'o-tonga, 6^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his wife, Tohu'ia, a Samoan lady from Safata on the island of Upolu. She had issue - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).

• 2) Tafolo Lahi (s/o Tu'utangahunuhunu). He had issue, a son:

• 1) Princess Fatafehi. m. Mataele Tu'apiko, 3^rd Tu'i Kanokupolu, eldest surviving son of Atamata'ila, 2^nd Tu'i Kanokupolu, by his wife, Tokilupe, daughter of the Tu'i Ha'atu'unga, of Nukunuku. She had issue - see Tonga (Tupou).
• 2) Princess Toto'inukuo'osi. m. Kafoa Kmotalau, 11^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, eldest son of Vaea, 8^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his first wife, Palula.  She had issue - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).

• 1) Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu I, 33^rd Tu'i Tonga (s/o Toa) - see below.
• 2) Tu'ihoua (s/o Longo). He had issue, a son:
  • a) Tongatangakitau-Lupekifoloha, 14^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
• 3) Tokemoana, 1^st Tu'i Ha'a Ulaukimata (s/o Toa). He had issue, a son (bur. Langi Tu'ofefafa, Lapaha, Mu'a):
  • a) Toutaitokotaha, 1^st Tokemoana. m. (first) Tahi, daughter of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho. m. (second) 'Ulukilupetea, Tu'i Ha'apai (m. second, Tu'ioetau, 2^nd Vuna. m. third, Finau-'Ulukalala-'i-Ma'ofanga, 2^nd Tu'i Vava'u. m. fourth, Talai Tupou, 14^th Tu'i Konokupolo. m. fifth, Talaumokafoa), eldest daughter of Ngalumoetutulu, by his wife, Siu'ulua, daughter of Hareapaua, Malupo of 'Uiha. He had issue, two sons and a daughter:

    • (1) Tonga Ha'apai. m. Ngongo, 6^th Ma'atu, of Niu'atuputapu, son of Ikamafana II, 5^th Ma'atu, of Niu'atuputapu, by his wife, Latutama, second daughter of H.H.   • i) Fuonuku (d/o Tahi). m. Tupoulahi, 7^th Tu'i Konokupolo, eldest son of Ma'afu-'o-tu'itonga, 6^th Tu'i Kanokupolu, by his third wife, Latutama, daughter of Fakatakatu'u, 1^st Tu'i Ha'ateiho. She had issue, one son and one daughter - see Tonga (Tupou).
• 1) Princess Sinaitakala-'i-Lotunofo, 5^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine (d/o Toa). m. as his first wife, Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho, adopted son and successor of Fakatakatu'u, 1^st Tu'i Ha'ateiho, and son of Paleinangalu, of the Tuilakepa family, by his wife, Hinehinatelangi, elder daughter of Fotofili, 7^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua. She d. at Lapaha, Mu'a (bur. there at Langi Lotunofo), having had issue, two daughters:
  • a) Princess Simuoko, 3^rd Tamaha. m. Vaea, 8^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, eldest son of Fotofili, 7^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his first wife, first wife, Princess 'Atalua, younger daughter of Fatafehi, 30th Tu'i Tonga - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
  • b) Princess Hoko'iamailangi. m. Tatafu, 10^th Tu'i Ha-a Takala'ua, youngest son of Fotofili, 7^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua, by his second wife, Fatafehi. She had issue - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
• 2) Princess Finaule'o (d/o Longo). m. as his second husband, Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho, adopted son and successor of Fakatakatu'u, 1^st Tu'i Ha'ateiho, and son of Paleinangalu, of the Tuilakepa family, by his wife, Hinehinatelangi, elder daughter of Fotofili, 7^th Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua. She had issue, one son and one daughter - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).

• 2) Peseta (s/o Fakatoumafi). m. Princess Laufilitongafefine, daughter of hishalf-brother, Fakana'ana'a, 34^th Tu'i Tonga, by his wife, Fifita, daughter of Longolongo'atumai. He had issue:
  • a) Fakatoumafifefine. m. 2^nd Luani, son of Luanilahi, 1^st Luani, by his wife, Taulangakihetoa. She had issue, one son and one daughter.
  • b) Heu Amusianoa. m. 2^nd Luani, son of Luanilahi, 1^st Luani, by his wife, Taulangakihetoa. She had issue, one son.

Fehoko Moelangi-'i-Fisi, 1^st Tu'i Lakepa, son of Na'utu, by his wife, Lelenoa, daughter of Vaea, 8^th Tu'i Ha'atakalaua. She d. at Lapaha, Mu'a (bur. there at Langi Fanakavakilangi), having had issue, one son and three daughters:
  • a) Latunipulu'i-teafua, 2^nd Tu'i Lakepa. m. (first) Princess Fatafehi Nanasipau'u, 8^th Tu'i Tonga Fefine, daughter of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu II, 35^th Tu'i Tonga, by whom he had issue, two sons and two daughters - see below. m.             • 1. Tevita Latu Meipulu. b. 1906. m. Tupou Pekipaki, daughter of Sekona, of Fo'ui. He d. 1965, having had issue:
              • a. The Hon Fonomanu Tapu'osi, Tu'i Lakepa. b. at Falavai, Vava'u, 5^th March 1929. He d.s.p.l. 16^th October 1974, or 12^th or 23^rd October 1977, having had issue by a daughter of Samiu Semesi Bloomfield, nine children, including a son:

Appointed as successor to his father, 18^th March 1951. m. 28^th July 1942, The Hon 'Ofa Veikune, natural daughter of The Hon Sioape Feiloakitau Kaho, sometime Minister for Police. • 2) Princess Kalo'afutonga. m. as his third wife, Mata'ele Ha'ame'a, 4^th Tu'i Kanokupolu. She had issue, - see Tonga (Tupou).
• 3) Princess Hahanokifanga'uta (d/o Tongotea). m. (first) The Hon. Leka, son of The Hon. Leka, by his wife, Ma'afu, daughter of Mataele Ha'ame'a, 5^th Tu'i Kanokupolu. She had issue, one son - see Tonga (Tupou). m. (second) Mataele Ha'amea, 5^th Tu'i Kanokupolu, third son of son of Mataele Tu'apiko, 3^rd Tu'i Kanokupolu, by his first wife, Papa, daughter of Akatoa, Tu'i Ha'amea. m. (third) Kafoa, third son of her second husband, Mataele Ha'amea, 5^th Tu'i Kanokupolu. She had further issue, one son - see Tonga (Tupou).
• 4) Princess Mafi'uli'uli (d/o Tongotea). m. as his second wife, Mapa, 3^rd Tu'i Ha'ateiho, only son of Tungimana'ia, 2^nd Tu'i Ha'ateiho. Adopted by her his mother's younger sister 'Uliafu, thus succeeding to the Tu'i Ha'ateiho. m. (first) Princess Sinaitakala-'i-Lotunofo, Tu'i Tonga Fefine, eldest daughter of 'Uluakimatata II, 32^nd Tu'i Tonga. m. (second) Princess Finaule'o, younger daughter of 'Uluakimatata II, 32^nd Tu'i Tonga. She had issue, one son and one daughter - see Tonga (Tu'i Ha'a Takala'ua).
• 5) Princess Tapu'osifefine. m. (first) Toketoke (m. second, Princess Manuna - see below), son of Maifanga Napa'a. m. (second) 5^th Moto'uapu'aka. She had issue, an only daughter by her second husband:
  • a) Otulau. m. as his second wife, Tameifuna, of Tungua. She had issue, a son and a daughter:
    • i) Laufilitonga, 1^st Tu'i Ata. He left many descendants at Ata (Pylstaarts) Island.
    • i) Takumua. She also left many descendants at Ata.
• 6) Princess Laufilitongafefine (d/o Fifita). m. Peseta, son of Fatafehi Tu'ipulatu I [Tu'ipulatu-i-Langi Tu'ofefafa], 33^rd Tu'i Tonga, by his wife, Fakatoumafi, daughter of Itafua'a'atonga. She had issue - see above.
• 7) Princess Manuna (d/o Fifita). m. Toketoke, former husband of Princess Tapu'osifefine, and son of Maifanga Napa'a.
