Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Nawab Mir Sir Imam Bakhsh Khan Talpur, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khaipur, GCIE (12.12.1911). b. at Khairpur Mirs, December 1860, only surviving son of H.H. Mir Sir Faiz Muhammad Khan I Talpur, Mir of Khaipur, GCIE, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 5th March 1909. Ascended the musnaid, at Khairpur Mirs, 6th March 1909. Hon Lieut-Col. IA 1/1/1918. Granted a local salute of 17-guns, in recognition of his services during the Great War and the Third Afghan War, 1st January 1921. Rcvd: DGBStJ (25.11.1911), Delhi Durbar gold medals (1903 and 1911). m. (first) a daughter (d. at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 1923) of Sahibzada Mir Shah Nawaz Khan Talpur. m. (second) 1896, a daughter of Sahibzada Mir Ghulam Haidar Khan Talpur. m. (third) a daughter (d. at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 1929) of Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Talpur. He d. at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 8th February 1921 (bur. Qadir Bakhsh Ja Quba), having had issue, four sons:

Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Mir 'Ali Nawaz Khan Talpur al-Haj, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khairpur. b. at Khairpur Mirs, 9th August 1884, eldest son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Nawab Mir Sir Imam Bakhsh Khan Talpur, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khaipur, GCIE, educ. Aitchison Coll., Lahore, and with the Imperial Cadet Corps, Dehra Dun. Appointed as Heir Apparent and invested with the title of Wali Ahad, 1910. Represented his father at the Coronation of the King-Emperor George V and the Queen-Empress Mary at Westminster Abbey in London 1911. Succeeded on the death of his father, 8th February 1921. Ascended the musnaid, at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 9th February 1921. Installed there by the British Agent, 25th February 1921. Forced to surrender administrative control over the state, on account of the diastrous management of the state, June 1931. Presdt All-India Shia Conference 1928, and All-India Baloch Conference 1932. Rcvd: King George V Coron (1911 with Durbar clasp) and Silver Jubilee (1935) medals. m. (first) a lady from the Talpur clan (d.s.p.). m. (second) H.H. Dera Khas Sahiba [Dera Kalan] (d. at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 1937). m. (third) a lady from Lahore. He d. at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 25th December 1935 (bur. Qadir Bakhsh Ja Quba), having had issue, two sons:

1935 - 1947 Major H.H. Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Mir Faiz Muhammad Khan II Talpur, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khaipur. b. at Khairpur Mirs, 4th January 1913, only son of H.H. Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Nawab 'Ali Nawaz Khan Talpur al-Haj, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khairpur, by his second wife, H.H. Dera Khas Sahiba, educ. Mayo Coll., Ajmer and in England. Succeeded on the death of his father, 25th December 1935. Ascended the musnaid at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 26th December 1935. He suffered from a weak constitution and general instability for much of his life, at one point accidentally shooting his nine-month old son through the stomach and right lung, during a serious attack of delirious fever. Consequently never invested with ruling powers, which were exercised on his behalf by a Minister appointed by the Resident for the Punjab States. The Government of India ordered him to live outside the boundaries of Khairpur and forbade him from interfering in state affairs. Settled in Poona. Abdicated in favour of his only son, 19th July 1947. Rcvd: King George V Silver Jubilee (1935) and King George VI Coron (1937) medals. m. at Hyderabad, Deccan, January 1932 (sep. 1935), H.H. Dulhan Pasha Begum Sahiba, younger daughter of Amir-i-Paigah, Muin ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Muin ud-din Khan Bahadur, Iyanath Jang, of Hyderabad. He d. 1954, having had issue, an only child:

1947 Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Mir George ‘Ali Murad Khan II Talpur, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khairpur. b. at Brighton, Sussex, 29th June 1933, only son of Major H.H. Huzur Pur Nur, Sarkar-i-Khairpur, Mir Faiz Muhammad Khan II Talpur, Wali-i-Mulk-i-Khudadad, Mir of Khairpur, by his wife, H.H. Dulhan Pasha Begum Sahiba, educ. St Bonaventure’s High Sch, Hyderabad, Aitchison Coll, Lahore, and Cambridge Univ. Survived a accidental shooting by his father, in which a bullet penetrated his stomach and right lung, and exited through the back of his right shoulder, when aged nine months. Succeeded on the abdication of his father, 19th July 1947. Ascended the musnaid at Faiz Mahal, Khairpur Mirs, 24th July 1947. Khairpur acceded to the Dominion of Pakistan, 3rd October 1947. Universal adult suffrage was introduced in the state in 1949, the first such elections to be held anywhere in the sub-continent. Reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and invested with full ruling powers, by Prime Minister Nawabzada Liaqat ‘Ali Khan, at Khairpur Mirs, 16th September 1951. Khairpur was merged into the Province of West Pakistan, 14th October 1955. Hon Lieut-Col. Pakistan Army. Presdt Khairpur Welfare Trust 1955, Founder Mehraano Wildlife Refuge 1968, Vice-Chair Sindh Wildlife Management Brd 1986-1994, Mbr Pakistan Historical Soc, etc. Rcvd: Silver Jubilee (1935), Coron (1937 & 1963), Pakistan Independence (1950), and Pakistan Republic (1956) medals. m. (first) at the Sadiqgarh Palace, Bahawalpur, (div.) Sahibzadi Ghulam Saddiquah Begum, eldest daughter of General H.H. Jalalat ul-Mulk, Hafiz ul-Mulk, Rukn ud-Daula, Saif ud-Daula, Mukhlis ud-Daula, wa Muin ud-Daula, Al-Haj Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V Bahadur, Nusrat Jung, Amir of Bahawalpur, GCSI, GCIE, KCVO. m. (second) a daughter of Allama Rashid Turabi. He had issue, two sons and one daughter by his second wife:
