1806 - 1837 H.M. 'Abu Nasir Mu'in ud-din Muhammad Akbar Shah II Sahib-i-Qiran-i-Sani Padshah Ghazi, King of Delhi. b. at Makanpur, Rewa, 22nd April 1760, educ. privately. Proclaimed as puppet Emperor by Ghulam Kadir Khan Rohilla, October/December 1788. Invested as Heir Apparent by his father, with the title of Wali Ahad Bahadur, at the Red Fort, Delhi, 2nd May 1781 (recognised by the HEIC). Proclaimed as successor on the death of his father, and ascended the musnaid on the same day, at the Red Fort, Delhi, 19th November 1806. An Urdu poet under the nom de plume of Shia. m. (first) at the house of Zulfikar ud-Daula, Delhi, 2nd May 1781, a princess of the Royal House of Delhi. m.  (second) Nawab Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba [Rahim un-nisa Begum Sahiba] (b. 1761; d. at Delhi, 23rd April 1837). m. (third) Shahabadi Begum Sahiba (d. at Delhi, before 9th December 1847, bur. there, near the tomb of Emperor Bahadur Shah, Mahrauli). m. (fourth) at the Red Fort, Delhi, 1837, Nawab Anwar Mahal Begum Sahiba (d.s.p. at Delhi, after 1859). m. (a) Qudsia Begum Sahiba, previously styled Lal Bai [Kallu Bai]. m. (b) Chunchul Bai. m. (c) Salah un-nisa. m. (d) Mumtaz un-nisa. m. (e) Juma Bai. m. (f) Gumani Khanum (b. 1798). m. (g) Ashrafi Khanum (b. 1788). m. (h) Latif un-nisa (b. 1798). m. (i) Kishan Bai (b. 1796). m.
