1731 – 1776 Shrimant Sardar Murarirao [Murarji] Sidhojirao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, Chief of Sandur. b. ca. 1699, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 1731. Governor of Trichnopoly 1741-1743. Entered into an alliance with the French in November 1752, and fought with them against the British. Transferred his capital to Gooty in 1754. Forced to surrender the fortress to Haider ‘Ali 15th March 1776, after a siege lasting four months. m. (first) before June 1729, Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Sagunabai Raje Ghorpade. m. (second) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati …Raje Ghorpade (k. on the orders of Tipu Sultan, at Seringapatam, 1791). He d. as a prisoner of Haider Ali, at Fort Kabbaladurg, a few days before 8th May 1779, having had issue, two sons:

1776 – 1790 Sandur annexed by Hyder ‘Ali and ruled by his officers.

1790 – 1796 Shrimant Sardar Sidhojirao II Shivarao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, Chief of Sandur. b. 1783, elder son of Shrimant Sardar Shivarao I Yeshwantrao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, adopted son and heir of Shrimant Sardar Murarirao [Murarji] Sidhojirao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, Chief of Sandur, educ. privately. Succeeded as head of the family on the death of his father, 1785 and reigned under the guardianship of his grand uncle. Regained Sandur after the regent attacked and expelled Tipu’s garrison in 1790. Signed a treaty of peace with Tipu Sultan in 1792. He d.s.p. 1796 (succ. by his kinsman and adopted son of his widow)

1796 – 1840 Shrimant Sardar Shivarao II Khanderao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, Chief of Sandur, elder son of Shrimant Sardar Khanderao Malojirao Ghorpade. Adopted by the child widow of Sidhojirao II Raje Sahib, 1796 and ascended the gadi 1799. Surrendered Sandur to the Peshwa, 27th October 1817 but had his realm restored to him by the British, 1st July 1818 (confirmed by sanad 1826). Thereafter, Sandur came under the protection of the HEIC. He d.s.p. 2nd May 1840 (succ. by his nephew and adopted son).

1840 – 1861 Shrimant Sardar Venkatrao Shivarao Raje Ghorpade, Hindurao, Mamlukatmadar Senapati, Chief of Sandur, only son of Shrimant Sardar Bhujangrao Khanderao Ghorpade. Succeeded on the death of his uncle and adopted father, 2nd May 1840. Invested with full ruling powers, 1841. m. (first) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Nanibai Raje Ghorpade. m. (second) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Manabai Raje Ghorpade. m. (third) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Krishnabai Raje [Dadibai] Ghorpade. m. (fourth) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Abai Raje Ghorpade. m. (fifth) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Nanaibai Raje Ghorpade. m. (sixth) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Rani Raje Ghorpade. He d. 1861, having had issue, six sons and eight daughters:
