Maharaj Sujan Singh, of Shahpura, son of Maharaj Suraj Mal, second son of Maharana Amir Singhji I, Maharana of Udaipur, educ. privately. Entered the Mughal service and appointed to an Imperial mansab of 800 zat and 300 sowar, prom. to 1,000 zat and 500 sowar 1643, 1,500 zat and 700 sowar 1645, and 2,000 zat and 800 sowar 1651. Served under Aurangzeb in Afghanistan. Granted Phulia in jagir by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631, which he renamed Shahpura, in his honour. He was k. fighting against Emperor Aurangzeb, along with seven of his eight sons, at Dharmatpur (Fatehbad), 15th April 1658:
1) Kunwar Fateh Singh, educ. privately. He was k. with his father, at Dharmatpur (Fatehbad), 15th April 1658, leaving an infant son:
a) Maharaj Himmat Singh, of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded his grandfather in the Shahpura estates, but resigned (or forced to resign) his patrimony in favour of his paternal uncle, 12th September 1664. He left issue - the jagirdars of Gangwas and Barliawas.
2) Kunwar …Singh. He was k. with his father, at Dharmatpur (Fatehbad), 15th April 1658.

4) Maharaj Daulat Singh, of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded his nephew, 12th September 1664. He d. from wounds received at the Battle of Bijapur, 18th November 1685, having had issue:

1706 - 1729 Shri Raja Bharat Singhji Sahib, Raja of Shahpura, son of Maharaj Daulat Singh, of Shahpura, only son of Maharaj Daulat Singh, of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded to his father estates, 18th November 1685. He fought for Maharana Sangram Singh II in the battle against Mewati Ranbaj Khan. Raised to the hereditary title of Raja by Emperor Aurangzeb and his estates constituted as a separate principality, 1706. Imprisoned by his son, Umaid Singh, 27th December 1729. m. (first) Rani Gulab Kanwar Sahiba, a lady from Khandela, in Jaipur. m. (second) Rani Umed Kanwar Sahiba, daughter of Raja Gaj Singhji, of Khandela, in Jaipur. He d. in confinement, at Shahpura, 24th January 1730, having had issue:

1729 - 1769 Shri Raja Umaid Singhji Sahib, Raja of Shahpura, son of Shri Raja Bharat Singhji Sahib, Raja of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded on the deposition and imprisonment of his own father, and installed on the gadi at Shahpura, 27th December 1729. Granted the pargana of Kachola by the Maharana of Udaipur. Joined forces with the Marathas and fought against the Emperor. He was k. at the Battle of Ujjain, 13th January 1769, having had issue, three sons and a daughter:
1) Shri Rajkumar Adut Singhji Sahib. He d.v.p. (poisoned by his own father), at Shahpura, 27th December 1729, having had issue:
a) Swasti Shri Raja Ram Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura - see below.

3) Thakur Zalim Singh, of Dhanope. He had issue, three sons:

1. Kunwar Zalim Singh. He d.s.p. (v.p.).
2. Kunwar Bahadur Singh. He had issue, a son:
a. Kunwar Vikram Dev Singh.

i) Thakur Devi Singh, of Dhanope. Succeeded to the Dhanope estates on the death of his uncle Bijey Singh. He d.s.p.m. having adopted his first cousin, Balwant Singh - see above.
1) Rajkumari Chanan Kunwar Bai Sahiba [Shri Ladi Sisodaniji Rani Chanan Kunwarji Sahiba]. m. as his sixteenth wife, Raj Rajeshwar Maharaja Shri Ajit Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Jodhpur (b. at Lahore, 19th February 1679; k. by his sons, at Meherangarh, Jodhpur, 24th June 1724), fifth and elder posthumous son of Unda Rajahai Alitabar Maharaja Shri Jaswant Singhji I Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur, by his eleventh wife, Shri Jadamanji Rani Jas Kunwarji Sahiba, Shri Jadamanji Rani Jas Kunwarji Sahiba, a princess of Gwalior, granddaughter of Maharajadhiraj Shri Tulsi Pal [Chatraman Deo] Bahadur, Yadukul Chandra Bhal, Maharaja of Karauli - see India (Jodhpur).
1769 - 1774 Swasti Shri Raja Ram Singhji Sahib, Raja of Shahpura, son of Rajkumar Adut Singh, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his paternal grandfather, 13th January 1769. Raised to the hereditary title of Swasti Shri Raja, largely in recognition of his father's services. He d. at Shahpura, 29th May 1774, having had issue:

1774 - 1796 Swasti Shri Raja Bhim Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura. b. at Shahpura, ca. 1715, son of Swasti Shri Raja Ram Singhji Sahib, Raja of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 29th May 1774. Installed on the gadi at Shahpura, 30th May 1774. He d. at Udaipur, 19th May 1796 , having had issue, two sons:
1) Swasti Shri Rajadhiraja Amar Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura - see below.
2) Thakur Chhatar Singh, of Kanehchand. He d.s.p.m. having adopted his nephew as his son and successor - see below.
1796 - 1827 Swasti Shri Rajadhiraja Amar Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura. b. at Shahpura, 1784, son of Swasti Shri Raja Bhim Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 19th May 1796. Reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers. Raised to the hereditary title of Rajadhiraja by the Mughal emperor. He d. at Shahpura, 7th July 1827, having had issue, two sons and a daughter:
1) Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Madho Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura - see below.
2) Thakur Chhatar Singh, of Kanehchand. Adopted by his paternal uncle and succeeded to the Kanehchand estate on his death. He had issue, an only son:
a) Kunwar Lakshman Singh, who succeeded as Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Lakshman Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura - see below.
3) Rajkumari … Bai Sahiba. m. H.H. Maharao Raja Shri Bane Sinhji Veerendra Shiromani Dev Bharat Prabhakar Bahadur, Maharao Raja of Alwar (b. at Thana, 1806; d. at Alwar, August 1857), third son of Thakur Shri Salah Singh, of Thana. She had issue, two sons and a daughter - see India (Alwar).
1827 - 1845 Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Madho Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura. b. at Shahpura, 1813, son of Swasti Shri Rajadhiraja Amar Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 7th July 1827. Installed on the gadi at Shahpura, February 1828. Abdicated in favour of his only son, 5th June 1845. m. Shri Rani Khangarotji Sahiba, Regent for her son 30th September 1845-1853. He d. at Shahpura, 30th September 1845, having had issue.

Umdai Rajahai Buland Makan Diwan Maharaja Shri Prithvi Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Kishangarh (b. at Fatehgarh, 14th May 1838; d. at Kishangarh, 25th December 1879), younger son of Maharaj Shri Bhim Singh, of Fatehgarh, in Kishangarh. She had issue, three sons and four daughters - see India (Kishangarh).
1845 - 1853 Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Jagat Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura. b. at Shahpura, 1837, son of Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Madho Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura, by his wife, Shri Rani Khangarotji Sahiba, sometime Regent of Shahpura, educ. privately. Succeeded on the abdication of his father and installed on the gadi at Shahpura, 5th June 1845. Reigned under a Council of Regency headed by his mother, until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers. m. 2) Rajkumari … Bai Sahiba. m. Rao Raja Sir Madho Singhji Bahadur, of Sikar, KCIE (b. 28th May 1860; d. at Sikar, 28th June 1922), adopted son of Rao Raja Bhairon Singhji, of Sikar, in Jaipur, and son of Thakur Birad Singh, of Deeppura, from the Sarwari family - see India (Jaipur).
3) Rajkumari … Bai Sahiba. m. 1875, Rao Raja Sangram Singhji, of Uniara (d.s.p. 1886), adopted son of Rao Raja Shri Fateh Singhji, Rao Raja of Uniara, in Jaipur - see India (Jaipur).Rajkumari Ajab Kanwarji Bai Sahiba [H.H. Raj Rajeshwar Saramad-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Sir Jaswant Singhji II Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur, GCSI (b. at Ahmadnagar, 1837,d. at Jodhpur, 11th October 1895), H.H. Raj Rajeshwar Saramad-i-Rajha-i- Hindustan Maharajadhiraja Maharaja Shri Sir Takht Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja of Jodhpur, GCSI by his wife H.H. the Ranawatiji Maharani Sri Maji Sahib - see India (Jodhpur).
* The Rani Mertaniji being enciente at the time of her husband's death, the succession was left in abeyance until the sex of her child was known. The child being born a girl, the succession was decided in favour of the late Raja's first cousin.
1853 - 1869 Svasti Shri Rajadhiraja Lakshman Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Raja of Shahpura. b. at Kanehchand, 1852, only son of Thakur Chhatar Singh, of Kanehchand, educ. privately. Selected as successor to his paternal first cousin by the Viceroy of India, and formally adopted by the widows of Raja Jagat Singhji, 15th July 1853. Installed on the gadi at Shahpura, on the same day. Reigned under a Council of Regency headed by his adoptive mother, Shri Rani Dadiji Sahiba Mertaniji Sahib. m. Rani Jodhpuriji Sahiba (d. at Shahpura, 1892), daughter of Thakur Lakshman Singh, of Poroli, in Mewar. He d.s.p. at Shahpura, 2nd December 1869.
