1895 - 1947 Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE (c 11.5.1937), KCIE (12.12.1911). b. at Jaora, 17th January 1883, fifth son of Major H.H. Ihtisham ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Ismail Khan Sahib Bahadur, Firuz Jang, Nawab of Jaora, by his second and principal wife, H.H. Shahar Banu Dulhan Begum Sahiba, educ. Daly Coll, Indore and with the Imperial Cadet Corps, Dehra Dun. Succeeded on the death of his father, 6th March 1895. Installed on the musnaid, at Jaora, 29th July 1895. Raised to the personal titles of Fakhr ud-Daula  and Saulat Jang, on his accession. Reigned under the regency of his maternal uncle, Sahibzada Yar Muhammad Khan Bahadur, CSI, until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, 20th May 1906. Cmsnd as Hon Capt IA 5/2/1908, attached 2nd Central India Horse 1910, prom Hon Maj 12/12/1911, served in the Great War 1914-1918 (rcvd: 1914-15 star, British War and Allied Victory medals), prom Hon Lt-Col 1/1/1921. Signed the Instrument of Accession to the Dominion of India, August 1947. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar medals (1903 and 1911), Silver Jubilee (1935), Coron (1937) and Indian Independence (1947) medals. m. (first) at Jaora, 8th March 1903, his first cousin, H.H. Taj Ammal Ara Iftikhar uz-Zamani Begum Sahiba (d. 1918), the only daughter of his maternal uncle, Sahibzada Yar Muhammad Khan Bahadur, CSI, sometime Chief Minister. m. (second) 15th May 1914 (or 5th January 1905 secretly), Musammat Nur Jahan Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba, a former Hindu. m. (third) at Ajmer, 1921, Musammat Sultan Dulhan Begum Sahiba (d. before 1933), a lady from a respectable family. m. (fourth) at Jaora, 1st September 1925, Musammat Sikander Dulhan Begum Sahiba. m. (fifth) at Jaora, 1937 (div. 19th January 1943) Musammat Zait un-Imtiaz Dulhan Begum Sahiba [Choti Bibi] (b. 1912; m. second, 1943, her step-son, Nawabzada Muhammad Nasir ‘Ali Khan Bahadur - see below), former wife of a fakir of Ratlam, and daughter of Ahmed Khan, of Jaora. m. (sixth) at Jaora, 23rd January 1942, Musammat Hazur Alia Begum Sahiba (b. 1923), nee Sayiddan, former wife of a police constable. He d. at Jaora, 18th December 1947 (bur. there at the Shrine of Husain Tekri), having had issue, nine sons and six daughters:

1947 - [1972] H.H. Asif ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Usman ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora. b. at Jaora, 4th July 1916, elder twin son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE, KCIE, by his second wife, Nur Jahan Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba, educ. Daly Coll, Indore. Appointed as Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Bahadur by his father 1916 (recognised by the GOI 6th November 1920, rescinded February 1935). Succeeded on the death of his father, 18th December 1947 (recognised by the GOI 15th August 1948). Merged his state into the Madhya Bharat Union, 22nd April 1948. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his position as a "ruler" and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28th December 1971. m. (first) (div. November 1941), Sahibzadi Safia Sultan Begum (m. second, 29th May 1942, Nawabzada Muhammad Nasir ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, elder half-brother of her first husband - see above), daughter of Mirza Sultan Zaman Beg. m. (second) at Macchi Bhavan, Jaora, January 1944, Shehnaz Begum Sahiba. He d.s.p. at Jaora, 9th November 1972 (bur. at the Shrine of Husain Tekri Sharif).

[1972 - 1999] H.H. Asif ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Murtaza ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora. b. at Jaora, 4th July 1916, younger twin son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE, KCIE, by his second wife, Nur Jahan Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba, educ. the Prince of Wales’s Royal Military Coll, Dehra Dun. Succeeded on the death of his elder twin brother as Head of the Royal House of Jaora, 10th November 1972. Mutawalli of the Husain Tekri Waqf Trust. He d.s.p. unm. 1999 (bur. at the Shrine of Husain Tekri, Jaora).
