Daly Coll, Indore and with the Imperial Cadet Corps, Dehra Dun. Succeeded on the death of his father, 6th March 1895. Installed on the musnaid, at Jaora, 29th July 1895. Raised to the personal titles of Fakhr ud-Daula and Saulat Jang, on his accession. Reigned under the regency of his maternal uncle, Sahibzada Yar Muhammad Khan Bahadur, CSI, until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, 20th May 1906. 3) Nawabzada Muhammad Nasir ‘Ali Khan Bahadur [Dadu Sahib]. b. at Jaora, 16th May 1906 (s/o Mumtaz Mahal.), educ. Mayo Coll., Ajmer, Royal Agricultural Coll, Cirencester, and OTC, Indore. MSC, Private Sec to his father, Chief Sec, Revenue Minister, Finance Minister, and Presdt Jaora State Council 1940-1942 (actg Presdt 1937-1940). Recognised by his father as Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Bahadur February 1935-July 1942. Granted the personal title of Birjis Qadir and the rank of Lieut-Col. Jaora State Forces 28th September 1940 (rescinded 27th January 1943). m. (third), at Ratlam, 1943, Musammat Zaitun Imtiaz Dulhan Begum Sahiba [Choti Bibi] (b. 1912), former wife of his father, Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan, Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE, KCIE, and prior to that of a fakir of Ratlam; daughter of Ahmed Khan of Jaora. He d. from heart failure, at Ajmer, 27th August 1945, having had issue, two sons and one daughter:

Cmsnd as 2nd-Lieut IA 29/8/1929, attached 9th Lancers 19/10/1929, transferred 16th Light Cavalry 21/10/1930, resigned 1931, Adjutant State Forces 1931, MSC 1940, Home Sec 1940-1942, Military Sec 1942-1943. Granted the title of Farrukh Siyar and the rank of Major Jaora State Forces 28th September 1940 (rescinded 31st January 1943). m. (first) 1932 (div.) a daughter of his paternal uncle, Sahibzada Muhammad Sher ‘Ali Khan Bahadur. m. (second) the elder daughter of Mirza Sultan Zaman Beg.

Enlisted in RAF 1939 as a rigger mechanic, served in WW2 1940-1945 with Royal Observer Corps (Hounslow), joined BOAC, Assist Station Supt for Air India International at London Airport 1947-1950. Settled in East Sheen. Rcvd: 39/45 Stars, British War and Defence medals. m. at Plympton, Devon, October 1940, Ursula Grace Khan (b. at Wandsworth, London, 1917), née Dimes, author of “Oldstone The Story of a Ruined Mansion” (1985), “Cottage on a Shoestring”, “More Tales from a Devon Cottage”, etc, youngest daughter of Percy Etty Dimes, from the Dimes family of Oldstone, Devon, sometime Sgt Instructor Royal Flying Corps and Assist Solicitor Public Enquiries & Prosecutions Branch of London County Council, by his wife, Grace, née Chater. He d. in his sleep in hospital, at Guildford, Surrey, 17th January 2015, having had issue, two sons:

4) Nawabzadi Rabia Sultan Jahan Begum Sahiba [H.H. Nawab Rabia Sultan Jahan Pari Banu Begum Sahiba] [Shahjadi Begum Sahiba]. b. at Jaora, 23rd December 1913 (d/o Mumtaz Mahal). m. at Jaora, 14th November 1933, H.H. Nawab Sidi Muhammad Khan Sidi Ahmad Khan, Nawab of Janjira (b. at the Ahmadganj Palace, Murud, 7th March 1914; d. at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, 1st April 1972), only son of H.H. Nawab Sidi Sir Ahmad Khan Sidi Ibrahim Khan, Nawab of Janjira, GCIE, by his third wife, H.H. Nawab Kulsum Begum Sahiba, eldest daughter of Sidi Husain Khan Sidi Muhammad Khan. She had issue, one son and four daughters - see India (Janjira).
5) Nawabzadi Abida Sultan Jahan Begum Sahiba. b. at Jaora, 1927. m. at Jaora, 7th October 1943, Sultan Muhammad Khan (b. at Jaora, 1919), sometime Pakistan High Cmsnr to Canada and Ambassador to the PRC, USA and Japan, younger son of Sultan Mahmud Khan. She had issue, two sons and two daughters - see above.
1947 - [1972] H.H. Asif ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Usman ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora. b. at Jaora, 4th July 1916, elder twin son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE, KCIE, by his second wife, Nur Jahan Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba, educ. Daly Coll, Indore. Appointed as Heir Apparent with the title of Wali Ahad Bahadur by his father 1916 (recognised by the GOI 6th November 1920, rescinded February 1935). Succeeded on the death of his father, 18th December 1947 (recognised by the GOI 15th August 1948). Merged his state into the Madhya Bharat Union, 22nd April 1948. The GOI amended the Indian Constitution to remove his position as a "ruler" and his right to receive privy-purse payments, 28th December 1971. m. (first) (div. November 1941), Sahibzadi Safia Sultan Begum (m. second, 29th May 1942, Nawabzada Muhammad Nasir ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, elder half-brother of her first husband - see above), daughter of Mirza Sultan Zaman Beg. m. [1972 - 1999] H.H. Asif ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Murtaza ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora. b. at Jaora, 4th July 1916, younger twin son of Lieutenant-Colonel H.H. Fakhr ud-Daula, Nawab Sir Muhammad Iftikhar ‘Ali Khan Sahib Bahadur, Saulat Jang, Nawab of Jaora, GBE, KCIE, by his second wife, Nur Jahan Mumtaz Mahal Begum Sahiba, educ. the Prince of Wales’s Royal Military Coll, Dehra Dun. Succeeded on the death of his elder twin brother as Head of the Royal House of Jaora, 10th November 1972. Mutawalli of the Husain Tekri Waqf Trust. He d.s.p. unm. 1999 (bur. at the Shrine of Husain Tekri, Jaora).
