Shrimant Jivajirao I [Dada Sahib] Puar, Raja of Dewas
(Junior), third son of Shrimant Sardar Kalojirao
Bubajirao Puar, Subbelashkar, Vishwasrao Bahadur, of
Supa, educ. privately. Followed his father and
brothers into the Maratha service, rising to the high
rank of a Sardar or general officer of the army.
Instrumental in the Maratha conquest of Central India in
1728. Received Dewas in joint control with his elder
brother, Kshatriya Kulavatana Sena Sapta Sahasri Senapati
Pratinidhi, Meherban Shrimant Raja Shri Tukojirao I
Kalojirao Puar, as part of their share in the Malwa
settlement, 1731. He d. at Dewas, 15th
August 1774, having had issue, three sons, including:

Shrimant Sadashivrao Puar, Raja of Dewas (Junior)

Shrimant Anandrao Jivajirao Jivajirao [Rao Sahib]
Raje Puar. He had issue:
1790 - 1817 Raja
Shrimant Rukmangadrao Puar, Raja of Dewas (Junior), only
son of Raja Shrimant Sadashivrao Puar, Raja of Dewas
(Junior), educ. privately. Succeeded on the death
of his father, 2nd December 1790. He d.
1817, having had issue, an only daughter:

Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati bai Raje
Sahib Pachunkar. m. 1810, Shrimant Sardar
Appa Sahib Pachunkar. She had issue.

Raja Shrimant Anandrao [Rao Sahib] Puar, Raja of Dewas
(Junior). b. as Shrimant Nilkanthrao Yadavarao
Puar, third son of Shrimant Sardar Yadavarao Puar.
Adopted by his kinsman, and ascended the gadi as
Anandrao II, 1817. Signed a treaty of friendship with the
HEIC, 12th December 1818. He d.s.p.
at Dewas, 1840 (succ. By his adopted son).

Raja Shrimant Haibatrao [Rao Sahib] Puar, Raja of Dewas
(Junior), younger son of Meherban Shrimant Sardar
Uddajirao I Puar, of Dhar, educ. privately.
Adopted by his uncle and succeeded on his death, 1840. m.
(first) Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati bai Raje
Sahib Puar. Received a sanad of adoption, 11th
March 1862. m. (second) at Dewas, 1860, Shrimant
Akhand Soubhagyavati bai Raje Sahib Puar (d.
at Dewas, 1st January 1861), sister of
Shrimant Sardar Khanderao Dabhade Sahib, Senapati, of
Talegaon. He d. at Dewas, 12th May
1864, having had issue, a son:
1) H.H.
Raja Shrimant Narayanrao [Dada Sahib] Puar, Raja
of Dewas (Junior) - see below.
Meherban
Shrimant Raja Haibatrao, adopted his cousin, the third
son of Shrimant Sardar Mahipatrao Chandrarao Puar:

Shrimant Jivajirao Haibatrao Maharaj [Khase
Sahib] Puar, of Kothi Savasthan. b. as
Shrimant Chandrarao Mahipatrao Puar. Adopted by
his uncle in 27th October 1858 when he
took the name Jivajirao Haibatrao Sahib and
became Heir Apparent to Dewas (Junior). He did
not succeeded as his adopted father produced a
male heir two years later, but received the large
estate of Kothi Savasthan in jagir as
compensation. He had issue, two sons:

Shrimant Sardar Malharrao Jivajirao
Maharaj [Baba Sahib] Puar, who was
adopted by his uncle and succeeded as
H.H. Maharaja Shrimant Sir Malharrao
[Baba Sahib] Puar, Maharaja of Dewas
(Junior) - see below.
b)
Shrimant Sardar Sadashivrao Jivajirao
Maharaj [Khase Sahib] Puar, who succeeded
his elder brother as H.H. Maharaja
