Singhji Bahadur, Maharaja of Bikaner. b. at
Reri, 28th March 1723, second son of Maharaj
Sri Anand Singhji, of Reri, educ. privately.
Adopted by his uncle before his death. Succeeded him, 15th
May 1746. Ascended the gadi at the Karan Mahal,
Junagarh, Bikaner, 17th June 1746. Granted the
hereditary titles of Sri Raj Rajeshwar Maharajadhiraja
Maharaja Shiromani and appointed to an Imperial mansab
of 7,000 zat and 5,000 sowar, by Emperor
Ahmad Shah I, 2nd August 1753. Granted the Mahi-o-Maratib
and other insignia of Royalty, and the first of his
line granted permission to mint his own coinage by
Emperor Alamgir II. m. (first) at Jaipur,
1745, a daughter of Raja Jetsi Rajawat of Kamba. m.
(second) at Jaisalmer Fort, 10th January
1752, Bhatianiji Maharani Sri Chandra Kumari Sahiba,
younger daughter of Rukn ud-Daula, Maharajadhiraj Raj
Rajeshwar Parama Bhattarak Shri Maharawal Ji Bairi Akhai
Singhji Dev Bahadur, Yadukul Chandrawhal, Muzaffar Jung,
Bijaimand, Maharaja of Jaisalmer. m. (third)
at Jaipur, 9th June 1755, H.H. Kachhwahiji
Maharani Sahiba, a daughter of the Thakur of
Jhaliya, in Jaipur state. m. (fourth) at
Jaipur, 7th March 1756, an aunt of Maharaja
Madho Singhji II, Maharaja of Jaipur. He d. at
Junagarh, Bikaner, 25th March 1787, having had
