Nawab ‘Ali Quli Khan Bahadur, elder son of Faiz Beg Najm-i-Sani, and grandson of Nawab Mirza Muhammad Bakir Khan Najm-i-Sani, sometime Subadar of Multan, Oudh, Orissa, Gujarat and Delhi - see India (Cambay). Wazir to Emperor Aurangzeb. m. a sister of Imad ul-Mulk, Nawab Khwaja Muhammad Mubariz Khan Bahadur, Hizbar Jang, sometime Subadar of the Deccan and Wazir. He had issue, three sons:

1665 - 1686 Muhammad Beg Khan-e Rosebahani, Qiladar and Jagirdar of Banganapalle. A supposed uncle of Imad ul-Mulk, Nawab Khwaja Muhammad Mubariz Khan Bahadur, Hizbar Jang, sometime Subadar of the Deccan and Wazir. Appointed as Qiladar of Banganapalle Fort and granted the surrounding districts in jagir by the Sultan of Bijapur, in 1665. He d. ca. 1686, having had issue, including:

1686 - 1759 Nawab Faiz ‘Ali Khan Bahadur [Muhammad Beg Khan Najm-i-Sani], Jagirdar of Banganapalle and Chenchelimala, second son of Nawab ‘Ali Quli Khan Bahadur, sometime Vizier to Emperor Aurangzeb, by his wife, a sister of Imad ul-Mulk, Nawab Khwaja Muhammad Mubariz Khan Bahadur, Hizbar Jang, sometime Subadar of the Deccan and Vizier. Variously described as grandson, son-in-law or adopted son of Muhammad Beg Khan-e Rosebahani, Qiladar of Banganapalle. Entered the service of the Adil Shahi sultans of Bijapur and appointed as Qiladar in succession to his adoptive father and namesake, ca. 1686. Confirmed in the jagir of Banganapalle by the Viceroy of the Deccan, before 3rd November 1719. Succeeded to Chenchelimala on the death of his childless elder brother, before 21st April 1738. He d. at Banganapalle Fort, before 25th August 1759 (succ. by his son-in-law), having had issue:

1758 - 1769 Qum Qam ud-Daula, Nawab Fazl ‘Ali Khan III Bahadur, Shamsher Jang [Gulli Nawab], Jagirdar of Banganapalle and Chenchelimala. b. at Banganapalle, before 11th December 1749, as Ghazanfar ‘Ali Mirza, only son of Fazl ‘Ali II Khan Bahadur, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his paternal grandfather, 1758. Reigned under the guardianship of the husband of his maternal aunt, Muhammad Beg Khan-i-Lang, 1758-1767. Confirmed in his possessions by the Nizam of Hyderabad, 17th January 1765. Expelled his guardian and assumed full ruling powers, 1767. Entered the Nizam’s service and appointed to a mansab of 500 zat, prom. to 3,000 zat and 2,000 sowar and granted the title of Khan Bahadur 11th February 1765. Later prom. to the titles of Qum Qam ud-Daula and Shamsher Jang. He d.s.p. unm. before 7th April 1769 (succ. by his nephew).
