GENEALOGY
[1918 - 1957] Prince Georgi Bagrationi of Mukhrani [Kniaz Giorgi Alexandrovitch Bagration-Mukhranski]. b. at St Petersburg, 16th July 1884 o.s., elder son of Major-General H.E. Prince Aleksandri Bagrationi of Mukhrani, Head of the Princely House of Mukhrani, by his wife, Princess Mariami, second daughter of Vice-Admiral H.E. Dmitri Zakharovitch Golovatchev, educ. Corps des Pages, St Petersburg. Marshal of the Nobility of Dusheti 1916-1917, joined the revolutionaries and later fought with the White forces against the Bolsheviks during the Civil War 1921. Went into exile and settled in Spain in 1944. Succeeded on the death of his father as Head of the House of Mukhrani, 30th October 1918 o.s. m. at Tiflis, July 1908, Princess Eleni (b. at Tiflis, 29th March 1886 o.s.; d. at Madrid, 25th April 1979) daughter of Dmitri Zygmunt-Czeslaw Zlotnicki, by his wife, Princess Mariami, daughter of Prince Elizbar Eristov, a descendant of King Irakli II of Georgia. He d. at Madrid, 29th September 1957 (bur. Cathedral of the Living Pillar, Mtzkheta, Georgia 1995), having had issue, one son and two daughters:

Prince Irakli Bagration of Mukhrani, Head of the Head of the Royal House of Georgia. b. at Tbilisi, Kartli, 3rd April 1909, only son of Prince Georgi Bagrationi of Mukhrani, by his wife, Princess Eleni, educ. privately. Naturalized in Spain, 22nd September 1947. Succeeded his father as Head of the Princely House of Mukhrani, 1st October 1957. Assumed the style of His Royal Highness and declared himself Head of the Royal House of Georgia, Duke of the Lasos, Prince of Kakhetia, Kartalia and Moukhrani. Presdt. International Cttee. of Honour La Fondation Européenne, and of the Supreme Cncl. of The Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem. Founder and Grand Master of the Orders of Queen Tamara, the Eagle of Georgia and the Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Grand Provincial of the Order of Queen Ketevana. Mbr. (third) at the Castle of San Sebastian, Spain, 29th August 1946, H.R.H. The Most Serene Princess Señora Infanta Doña María de las Mercedes Teresa Maria de la Paz Fernanda Adalbertina Cristina Antonia Isidra Raimunda Josefa Jesusa Fausta omnes sancti Francisca Borgias de Baviera y de Borbón, Infanta of Spain, Princess of Bavaria (b. at Madrid, Spain,3rd October 1911; d. there at Serrano,, 11th September 1953, bur. in the Panteon de los Infantes, Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial), sometime Presdt. Intl. Cttee. of Honour La Fondation Européenne, rcvd: Dame of the Order of María Luisa of Spain, and of Honour & Devotion of Malta, Grand Collar of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia and the Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and of the Apostolic Equestrian Order of St George of Burgundy, etc., elder daughter of Lieutenant-General H.R.H. The Serene Princess Señora Infanta Doña María Teresa Isabel Eugenia Patrocinio Diega de Borbón y Hapsburgo, Infanta of Spain, younger daughter of His Most Catholic Majesty The Most Serene Prince and Señor Don Alfonso XII, King of Spain and the Indies, etc., KG. m. (fourth) at Madrid, Spain, 19th October 1961, H.R.H. Doña María del Pilar Pascual y Roig, Marquesa de Carsani (d. 1994). He d. at Madrid, Spain, 28th November 1977 (bur. Cathedral of the Living Pillar, Mtskheta), having had issue, two sons and one daughter:

Prince Giorgi Bagrationi of Mukhrani [Señor Don Jorge Bagration de Moukhrani y di Costafiorita], Head of the Royal House of Georgia. b. at Rome, Italy, 22nd February 1944, elder son of H.R.H. Prince Irakli Bagration-Mukhransky, Head of the Head of the Royal House of Georgia, by his second wife, The Noble Maria Antonietta Pasquini dei Conti di Costafiorita, educ. in Madrid, Spain and in Switzerland. Assumed the position of Head of the Royal House of Georgia together with the style of His Royal Highness for himself and his issue after the death of his father on 28th November 1977, along with the titles of Duke of the Lasos, Prince of Kakhetia, Kartalia and Moukhrani. Settled in Tbilisi 2005. Grand Master of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia and the Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Protector of the Knightly Order and Devotion of St. Michael the Miraculous. Motor racing driver and international motoring enthusiast. Spanish Touring & Specials Champion 1969, and Spanish Rally Champion 1979, 1981 and 1982. m. (first) at Nice, France, 10th March (civil) and at Cannes, France, 11th March (relig.) 1968 (div.), Doña María de las Mercedes de Zornoza y Ponce de Leon (b. at Madrid, Spain, 14th August 1942), daughter of Don José de Zornoza, of Madrid, Spain, by his wife, Doña María de las Mercedes Ponce de Leon. m. (second) at Madrid, Spain, 8th September 1982, Doña Núria Llopis y Oliart (b. at Barcelona, Spain, 14th November 1953). He d. at Tbilisi, Georgia, 16th January 2008 (bur. Cathedral of the Living Pillar, Mtskheta), having had issue, three sons and one daughter (who have all assumed the style of Royal Highness):
